Great place to stay for couples! You get private cottages away from other cottages there, the location was super easy to find, checking in & out is super simple, and everything is clean. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway from the busy city.

We loved our stay in Conifer Cottage. I particularly loved sitting on the porch and watching the birds and rabbits.

We had a fabulous time at Felixa and James holiday house with our 2 kids (3 and 6). We loved exploring the crystal clear river, the hot tub, the nearby wineries/pub/parks. Theres a host of kids books, coloring, boardgames, outdoor toys. The place is spotless! Felixa is super responsiveness and friendly cant wait to book again!

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing weekend away. We stayed as a group of 6, including our 3 year old son and there was truly something for everyone. We enjoyed looking out the window in the morning and exploring the property and surrounds looking for native wildlife. The house has truly everything you could need, and we loved having the kitchen there so we could eat our meals at home and enjoy the property for even longer. Kathryn was a wonderful host who was always only a message away, and the recommendations left at the property gave us some great ideas on how to spend our time in the area. We’ve already spoken about plans on when we can come back to visit, as our 3 year old asked if he could live there forever. Thank you for having us!

Amanda and Robs entire place is stunning, the serenity serves to really give you a break and a breather. I really enjoyed having the abundance of wildlife roaming around. Amanda and Rob are friendly and lovely to talk to and their blueberry liqueur and gin is very yum. I will definitely be returning.

Beautiful location that we and our dog loved. So peaceful and relaxing - the perfect way to escape the city for a couple of days. And the cottage itself was super cute but had everything we needed.

What a beautiful place, I took my wife and kids for a short getaway and stayed at one of these cottages. Firstly, entering the cottage, we found it extremely clean and tidy and very cosy. You wake up in the morning to hear the beautiful sounds of birds chirping, sitting in the back patio, you get to see kangaroos and cattle and pigs. There is soo much to do here and the kids can go wild exploring nature, swimming in the pool and the hot tup for adults. We plan to make this place our regular getaway. You will also find your host, Anne very friendly, quick to respond to your messages and very accommodating. Thank you Anne, we really loved the stay at your cottage and your property. My wife and kids really enjoyed their stay, the peace and quiet and what nature had to offer.

This house is absolutely amazing! Extremely spacious both indoors and outdoors. Fantastic location very easy to get around. A thoughtful gift was left upon our arrival making this stay a step above the rest, I would highly recommend especially for larger groups. Thanks Leigh and the team

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was perfectly fitted with everything you need. Qe felt so at home and relaxed the whole time. Beautiful views no matter where you looked. The kitchen was well equipped, we whipped up a few lovely meals while eating on the balcony. Our daughter loved all the toys, games, swing and trampoline. We even got to see a wallaby! Everything about Kristy’s place was as good if not better than we expected. From the moment that we made the reservation to the time that we checked out everything was wonderful!! The instructions for our late arrival were easy to follow and the cabin was neat, clean and exactly what we were hoping for after a long late night drive together there. I highly recommend staying at Kristy’s place and will definitely go back whenever we are driving through the area!!

We booked all 4 cabins as a group getaway. Sunset Villas did not dissapoint, the space was peaceful and relaxing and Neeska was the most amazing host!

Our family ( including puppy) had a lovely peaceful stay at the cabin. The river was a highlight with walks, some fishing and swimming. Floating around on the river was excellent. We had the run of the whole property with kangaroos, cockys, echidnas and even a river tortoise. The cabin is nicely secluded but not too far from a good pub and coffee shop. Trevor was very responsive and helpful with any enquiries.

A beautiful estate loved the gardens & the cottage was adorable. We enjoyed our night with our dog who felt like a king! We will recommend and if we are in the area again will come back for longer! Thank you Sharnie we loved reading about the heritage of Craignair house.

Arrived from Melbourne in the darkness, woke up to the most amazing scenery, an absolutely gorgeous place. Short drive from the local shops and lake. I had my dog with me, we both loved the stay, will be back.

We enjoyed our stay. Accomodation was a short drive into town and the general Macedon Ranges places that we wanted to visit. The electric heaters worked well; as did the log fire heater. The accomodation was cosy and clean. Plenty of spare power points to charge mobile phones, laptops and camera batteries.

Staying with Keren and Gwyn was very relaxed and beautiful. They are very kind, helpful and accomodating. The kitchen is well equipped and breakfast food provided according to your needs. The garden in which one sits on the balcony is peaceful, and as I was there for more than 4 weeks I was permitted to use the washing machine and ironing board. It was nice chatting to Keren, when we happened to see each other, but each of us had their privacy too. I had a great time living there and am already considering to book again for next year.

Brilliant stay at Sambar Hills. Sally was great and we hit up the Chrismont Winery which was the best winery we’ve been to. Highly recommend, will be coming back.

We had a great family get away to Beechworth and the cabins were the perfect location for us. The location was an easy walk in to town and was a great starting point for some of the bike rides we went on. An extra bonus was the picnic table and BBQ area. We cooked up some fresh fish that we caught up near bright and had a lovely lunch under the trees. There were some condiments in the kitchen that we used which was a nice bonus. I’d highly recommend the cabins.

It really is a magical place, ideal for relaxing and connecting with nature. In addition, it is close to Mount Buller, which is ideal for the snow season. On the other hand, the accommodation is perfect, even much more beautiful than in the photos. I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it 100%.

We had a great stay at Marty's beyond beautiful property. Marty is a generous host, very organised and it shows in his attention to the smallest details. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed is well above standard, and the sunrise the view is idyllic. We managed to see the very friendly goats and Alpacas and even some saw some wombats from the cabin. We also loved visiting the cheese factory in Milawa, Beechworth and some falls, about 45mins drive. This is a 10 out of five stars stay ✨

We had a great stay, very relaxing and the cottage was spacious and well kept. Everything was in good working order and Gunther was a friendly and accommodating host! We would love to come back again soon.

Great stay at Chris place, nice farm stay super quiet and peaceful with everything you needed, house was well equipped, A/C did the job albeit one unit for full house made sleeping in main bedroom a little warm, shower pressure good but water sort of went everywhere due to the walk in shower style- wasn’t big issue location is great just outside Strathbogie centre and highly recommend eating at Chris restaurant down the road Seven Creeks Wagyu- fantastic food and experience
