Holiday rentals with beach access in Golfito

The location is great, few doors down to a supermarket and few restaurants. The property is beachfront and private. It’s more worth than what I paid for. Ana is a really nice person and eager to help. I’ll be back!

Oldemar and his wife Nancy welcomed us in a friendly and respectful way upon arrival. The accommodation is as in the photos; clean, bright and cozy. We feel right at home! They offered us their help, food we lacked and even invited us a delicious cake from their daughter's birthday. If they go to Bahia Drake do not hesitate to stay in their casita, it is the ideal place to disconnect and feel in direct contact with nature and the good energies of the place. ¡Thank you Oldemar, Nancy and family for receiving us at home🙏🏽❤️!

An exelente place to get some rest, the room is very well equipped. It's a very quiet area at night that allows you to rest very well. Linda's attention is very good, she responds quickly to the msj you send her.

Me and my husband have had a great time at Tamar and Alberto’s house! The place surrounding their house is a gem and a there is a lovely beach area where to go to swimming and look at the sunset and sunrise! They also have an amazing Cafe area where to go to get some fresh smoothies and amazing fresh food homemade with fresh ingredients. They offer activities runs by their family and everything is well organised and not in a classical tourist style but with love and passion for their job. It’s right above a fish market, the entrance is literally through it so it smells like fish outside quite a bit but it was very nice inside! The linens were clean and the bed was comfortable, it felt super safe, there’s a guard there 24/7 and usually other workers. Stefanny was great and super helpful!

Great location in the center of Drake village. Easy walking to shops and restaurants and beach. Great for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Spectacular views. Very clean. Vincent was extremely responsive and helped us in advance of our trip with transfers and also boat reservations while we were here. Just great. Would certainly stay here again.

It’s not possible to say enough good things about our stay here, we loved every second. The property has a beautiful jungle view within walking distance of the beach. Joe and Sue were incredible hosts (going above and beyond when we arrived unwell) Incredible food for breakfast and dinner every day! Always fresh and delicious Our rooms were cleaned every day and laundry was provided The hosts were so helpful in helping us arrange our time and activities. I’m so glad we extended our stay to 8 nights to truly enjoy everything drake bay and the property had to offer. Bob, Rio and gala 🐱🐶 were great company around the property. Thank you all for the most wonderful stay.

Our stay at Rey and Stephanie’s (hosted by Naomi) was fantastic. We so enjoyed all the incredible wildlife visiting the property each morning- Iguanas, Tucans, squirrel monkeys etc. The house is very comfortable for a group of 6 with all the amenities in the kitchen and house that you could need. The pool is perfect and the outdoor shower is a beautiful touch. Naomi took us on an awesome tubing tour down rio claro and also provides many options for activities in Pavones, which is handy. Rey was an incredibly helpful host and really took care of us and made us feel at home on his property. Thanks for everything and we hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay in Drake Bay, right in the heart of nature. The beautiful garden was filled with fantastic wildlife, including toucans, guans, agouti, and various other birds. Our host, Mario, took us on a morning walk around the town, where we encountered many different wild animals along the way. I highly recommend this experience!

My son and I had a great stay at Casa Rio Dulce. The pictures were accurate, the house was as described and had most everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful and the beach access was easy while the beach itself was very private and secluded and great for long walks. Jacko was awesome and was very helpful with recommendations. He checked in with us periodically to offer suggestions and make sure all was well. I'd stay again if/when traveling to Puerto Jimenez/Matapalo area

Amazing place, and unbeatable location! We rented both the guest house and the main house…. The main house is close enough to walk up the driveway but the driveway long enough that both houses get privacy. Just a couple minutes walk to the beach surrounded by jungle, and short walk along the shore and you are in town. Perfect. Everything in both houses was good quality and well cared for--and the hosts were super attentive and gave great recommendations. We will definitely return, next time for a longer stay, I hope.

We (me, my husband and two sones - 7 and 9 years old) stayed at Sandy’s beautiful house for 7 nights and loved it. The house is rustic and open air and you really feel the jungle all around you - from the crashing of the waves on the beach that is steps away, to the morning choir of parrots and monkeys in the garden. Cooking in the kitchen with nature all around was really special and just want we needed to disconnect from our otherwise busy lives. The housekeeper came every most days, and the house caretaker was amazing - checking in with us each day to make sure that everything was ok, and helping us organize great day trips from Corcovado National Park, to zip lining and waterfall hikes. There are a few places near by to get lunch/ dinner (Encanta La Vida, Martines, Lapa Rios) if you don’t want to cook all the time, and they also organized for someone to come and cook for us at home one night. The beach is really beautiful - nothing beats having it on your doorstep.

A super clean and nice house. A good bed with nice linens. Delicious towels. Nice bathroom Some fruit was left for us. The house was better than we thought. It was better than the pictures. Recommended only

The location is everything at casa azul and casa aloha! It’s quiet and very private and just a quick walk to the point at Pavones. We saw all kinds of magical wildlife in the garden and the kids enjoyed to pool during the hot part of the day! Kelly’s house was very comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home. If you’re going to visit Pavones, it doesn’t get any better than casa azul and casa aloha!

Great stay. Stephanie and Juan were very responsive when needed. Nice view from the second floor bedroom with a nice country vibe. Quiet area as well.

Great stay in pavones. Peaceful location comfortable for friends and families looking for a environment with surfing around. Would definitely stay again.

if you want to immerse yourself in nature, this is the perfect place. Kitchen with all the basic utensils for cooking, clean and in a beautiful place. We were welcomed by Erik's father, who was very kind, who also provided us with directions to beaches and walks nearby.
