Family-friendly holiday rentals in Gmund am Tegernsee

We spent a week in the apartment and felt super comfortable. We had an issue with the sauna, which was taken care of immediately and everything was in the way that we could use the facility again quickly. We also felt incredibly comfortable with Sandra's incredibly warm nature! And knew she has an open ear for all our concerns! In addition: super equipped apartment in which we lacked absolutely nothing!

Amazing views on the mountains from the terrace and balcony on the second floor. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Despite the frosty weather, it was warm inside. There's a fireplace that will help you to make the atmosphere even more cozy. I highly recommend Martina's place for winter holidays!

We had a great stay in Prince's apartment! It is a real home where you can find everything you need for a comfortable stay in Munich, either for holidays or business. The apartment is situated in a beautiful residential area, very well connected (bus, metro) with the centre and other parts of Munich. The lovely private garden and the fresh air give you the "holiday feeling". Prince is a dedicated host, charming, helpful and practical! Don't hesitate to book his apartment, it's important to feel like home when you're away from home :)

Wonderful, peaceful, idyllic location and chateau. High quality fittings throughout, including gym and pool table. It snowed for our entire stay and the house was warm, comfortable and secure. The sauna was fantastic, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well-appointed. The outside hot tub was great for new year, though because it is wood-heated it does take a long time (3-4 hours) and lots of attention to get up to temperature. We didn't use the downstairs part of the house, as it was locked and we didn't need ski equipment. The traffic to the lake and mountain though can get quite busy during peak times. Overall, a lovely stay, welcoming hosts - it's expensive, but if you want a perfect secluded winter getaway that's near to an alpine lake and mountain for skiing, it's a great choice.

A very cosy place on two levels with lovely views and very well equipped with everything you might need during an apartment stay. I felt very much at home. The very friendly owners live in the same property so communication is easy. The place is a great starting point for lots of beautiful walks around the Schliersee area and beyond.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the cabin in the woods! Everything was really great and even better than we imagined. The location in the middle of the forest is simply fantastic - you have your absolute tranquility and are completely surrounded by nature. That was exactly what we were looking for! The cabin itself was much larger and better equipped than expected. It had everything you needed and more. We particularly liked the loving details and the cozy furnishings. You can tell the host went the extra mile. The communication with the host was also perfect. She was super friendly, responded quickly to our messages and gave us helpful tips for the area. All in all, it was a wonderful and relaxing time we were allowed to spend in the cabin. Thank you for this memorable stay - we will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect location and close to lots of great sites. The small village is very nice. Bakery and grocery store were great. Carolin was an awesome host and the apartment was perfect. Wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend this apartment.

Angelika is definitely a super-host—proactive, helpful. The home was extremely well stocked with utensils, kitchen accessories and cleaning material. The home was large enough and cosy for our party of nine. The location was superb, walking distance to restaurants and shops, close to tourist spots and with a gorgeous view of the mountains. Had a great time 🙏

We had a lovely stay in Garmisch and Dirk's unit provided the perfect accommodation. The view from the main living area was spectacular and the apartment was super clean and had everything we needed for a family of 4. Spacious and very comfortable. Parking was easy and a short 10-minute stroll to the center of Garmisch. Great location all around. Dirk was a great communicator and very helpful. We highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy Garmisch and the surrounding area!! We look forward to returning sometime soon.

We really enjoyed our stay. This was exactly what we were looking for. My only recommendation is if you are coming in late to plan accordingly with snacks because everything closes earlier in the neighborhood. The house was really beautiful and peaceful and very safe. It’s a 30 minute Uber from Munich. Highly recommend staying here!

Peter's apartment was exactly as described. Beautifully large and pretty much all the amenities you might need. Communication was super easy. Grainau is a beautiful village and you can quickly get to the ski resort by train. However, this only runs once per hour. There were seven of us. My husband and I with son (3), my sister with daughter (2) and my parents with dog. Was great for all ages.

The place is super furnished and very clean, we lacked nothing. The hosts were always available immediately and very friendly. All excursion destinations/bike paths are easily accessible from the property. Shops serving daily needs are also within walking distance in a few minutes. We had a very nice stay and can recommend the place unconditionally.

In the beautiful and cozy apartment, all three of us felt very comfortable from the first moment. Everything was taken care of from the amenities and we lacked nothing at all, even though we prepared/ cooked breakfast and dinner ourselves every day. The house also has many possibilities with the pool, gym and sauna, which we only partially used, as we had fantastic weather all the time and used it for hiking. The place Oberaudorf was also an incredible stroke of luck for us. We were not really aware of the beautiful place we ended up in before arriving. We sometimes even started from the apartment directly on a hike or just drove a few kilometers in any direction to discover all your recommendations, dear Nicole. We liked the Kranzhorn including Alm best. We'd love to come back and were very sad when we had to leave.

We had a great time in the appartment around the Xmas break and really appreciated the host’s attention to detail (we found a decorated Christmas tree in the apartment etc.) which made us feel very welcome! We highly recommend this place

Wonderful place, they even provided a baby bed for our group which made travelling so much easier. Spacious and clean.

The house is very clean , the location is quite good near the centre around 20mins .

We had a really good stay at Basti's Place. Sebastian and Olga were very welcoming and made us feel at home very quickly, answering lots of questions on the surrounding area, where to eat, where to ski and getting around. The apartment is very comfortable with everything you need. It is quiet and away from town noise but still easily accessible to the ski areas. The ski bus is 5mins walk from the apartment, buses go every 30mins to an hour and will take you to a wide range of ski areas in either direction. 2min bus to Fleckenbahn and 10mins to Kitzbuhl. Very easy.

Katharina has a nice place in a good location and is very responsive. The fact that this seems to be her primary residence makes it a bit difficult at times to know what you can and cannot use, but she was a very reasonable and understanding person when miscommunication occurred.

Nice place, better than described. We used the swimming pool and sauna every day. The place was quiet and clean with enough space. We will be happy to come back.
