We were surprised to see Hannah's place that much prettier in person than in the photos!! 10/10! We enjoyed every minute of it and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this listing as Hannah herself is genuinely a super host and wants all her guest to feel welcomed. We didn't have to worry about linen, towels, tp, soaps and shampoos, and basic kitchen ingredients were all catered for. Our dogs were also very happy to have access to a delightful property. No exaggeration; this is my favourite air bnb so far. Beautiful house on a quiet street, with an incredible amount of comfort and amenities. They even had croissants with salami and cheese set out in the kitchen for my first days breakfast. Two cute friendly dogs and a gorgeous cat that were always around to greet me at the end of my day. John and Julie were incredibly helpful with everything I needed. They even let me do a couple loads of laundry while I was there. Also as an added bonus, at one point I got to take a ride in a classic car. If you want to know more ask John. He’s a total legend. Anyway, I could go on but I’ll leave it at this; if you’re wondering where to stay in Hamilton look no further, this place has it all. Plus it’s very affordable. Big love to John and Julie. I’ll definitely catch you on my next trip:)

A Finnish 🇫🇮 log cabin in Australia—what an incredible treat! As a European, I was immediately drawn to this place, knowing the craftsmanship and love that goes into building these homes. The thought of someone bringing one all the way to Australia speaks volumes about the dedication behind it. Greta’s Finnish cabin exceeded all my expectations. Despite the unexpected urban setting, the cabin felt like a peaceful haven amidst the rugged Australian environment. It radiates warmth and comfort, making it the perfect escape from the outside world. Our evenings were especially memorable—we looked forward to watching old movies and soaking in the cosy atmosphere. Greta’s cabin is a unique and special retreat—a little piece of Finland nestled in the Grampians. It’s the perfect place to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life.
