Holiday houses in Gillespie County

Great scenic place to relax and get away from the busy city life. House was just like the photos with all the listed amenities that worked as expected. Only thing I would caution is the wifi connection isn’t great so wouldn’t recommend working remotely from there but other than that it’s perfect. Would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The location is perfect...one block off the main street but nice and quiet. The house itself is amazing. We loved the original thick stone walls and the entire place was beautifully decorated. We loved the riddle and had a great time solving it, such a great idea! The host, Jourdan, was very responsive and seemed to anticipate all of our needs. There was one small issue during our stay but Jourdan addressed it proactively and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I would definitely stay here again. 😁

Fantastic stay, house was well set up and had everything we needed and was in a great location. Douglas was a fantastic host - we really appreciated having the pool heated for our stay!

Our family had a great stay. The description was accurate, and were able to roam much of the land. Our boys enjoyed the animals during the day, and the stargazing at night.

The house was close to Main Street but far enough where you didn’t deal with the traffic of trying to get back to the house. Was in a quiet neighborhood. Extremely clean and well kept. We enjoyed our time there.

Was a very beautiful home to have out bachelorette getaway at! Beautiful scenery, clean home, just overall great stay!

Paula was an excellent host. She was very responsive from beginning to end. The house was beautiful, clean and very well stocked. It's obvious that the Paula has put a lot of care and consideration into the home. The outdoor space was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the birds and other animals that frequent the yard including deer. The location was perfect for us. We cooked all of our meals at the house which had everything one would need. We would definitely stay here again. It's definitely one of the best places we've stayed, truly a gem.

This house was gorgeous!! Plenty of space and good layout for entertaining. Hot tub and firepit was a highlight! I loved the fact that there aren’t any neighbors super close so we weren’t too concerned about being disruptive. Less than 10 min drive from the main shops or anything else you’d want to do in town. Highly recommend!
