Waterfront holiday rentals in Gaston County

It was situated on a beautiful lake in a beautiful neighborhood. Everything we needed was there. I would highly recommend staying at Patricia’s Airbnb. She was an excellent hostess.

Wanted a quiet, comfortable stay for my birthday and Laura’s place was perfect! The bed was so comfortable. Lots of natural light. The tub was my personal favorite. Would recommend and would book the place again.

We loved our stay and Jeff was amazing! It was the perfect place to stay for our few days in town. Thank you for everything and providing such a wonderful place to call home for a few days!

Rick and Judy were communicative and warm from the very beginning! There are signs posted everywhere which I especially appreciate. This place has everything! Lovely hosts, washer/dryer, dishwasher, tv, large walk-in shower, fire pit, and amazing views right on the lake with all of the toys one could ever wish for!! Rick mentioned that many people that have visited have even purchased homes and become neighbors! I believe it’s the highest amount of synergy between a guest and host that I’ve ever heard of. We hope to return in the warmer months to experience all the lake has to offer.

Wow! What an amazing experience on Lake Norman. From taking the canoe out with our pups to roasting s’more’s by the campfire, there is so much to do without needing to leave the site. Lore was one of my favorite hosts I’ve ever met. She was kind, flexible and welcoming. We appreciated the details put into the interior and exterior of the space. We felt right at home. Being from the city we walked to downtown and ate at Barrell & Fork. It was also an awesome experience! Downtown Davidson a bit north also has a cute walkable downtown. Jetton Park is a short drive with an excellent big loop to walk your dogs. Hello Sailor is another gem on the water serving local oysters. We had the best time. Lore is amazing and I hope we will be able to return in the near future. Thank you! L & K

The apartment is beautiful. We had a peaceful stay. I liked the big windows overlooking the lake. I enjoyed picnicking on the dock and kayaking around the cove.

We were there for a wedding to the Ivory Barn and the location was perfect. We loved the porch. It was ideal for what we needed.

The sitting area by creek is so relaxing! Bed is extremely comfortable & there is an electric blanket. Hosts have thought of every detail! If you forgot anything, they likely have it there for you (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, lotion). Was nice to have everything we needed (plates, cups, silverware, full-size fridge, coffee, assorted cereals), Neighborhood is safe & perfect for a walk. Hosts are very friendly & easy to contact! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I enjoyed staying there. The house was clean and amazing. It was so much space and so many rooms. It sits on a lake so you can wake up to and enjoy looking at the lake view. Entry was seemless and area was quiet and peaceful. This house really is a dream home and look just like the photos. Will rent again with them

Dean’s home was quite elegant from inside and outside. The view of the lake homes across was spectacular. The location in of itself was quite peaceful and away from the every day life. A wonderful stocked kitchen for us to use when cooking our meals when not going out. Thank you for opening your home to us and allowing Ted into your home, Dean. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Wonderful home on a beautiful point with a fantastic view!! We would certainly stay here again, the whole house has a perfectly chill lake vibe, comfortable furniture, and is immaculately clean! Arouna & Charlie were wonderful hosts, immediately responsive and the care they have for this home shows!

Perfect spot for our family getaway. Plenty of space and very clean. So great to relax by the lake on comfortable chairs and go kayaking. Ipe was a wonderful host, super responsive and even went out of his way to ensure plenty of board games available when I casually inquired about games. Highly recommend this charming spot.

This place was the excellent choice for our group. It was roomy. The large pond out back was beautiful. I will definitely book this place again.

My wife and I took my two boys and my parents on a little vacation for a few days the day after Christmas. The house on the lake and location right outside of Charollete was perfect. The boys and I got to fish with my pops right off the back dock. We were close to all kinds of things to do around the Charollete area. Erin was super quick to respond with any questions we had. Would love to plan a trip back during summer to be able to use the lake more.

We had a wonderful stay at Bill's Lake house in Charlotte, NC. He is friendly, helpful, responsive and very easy to work with on the rental. His property is gorgeous! Large front yard with plenty of parking and room to play pickleball or basketball. The lake views are stunning from early morning until sunset. The home is large and well-furnished with comfortable beds. Lots of fun games for your entertainment inside and out! Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Bill made us feel right at home. His property feels rural and you will see many deer. But the Harris Teeter grocery store is only a couple miles away along with restaurants and other stores. We highly recommend this property and hope to return again soon. Thanks Bill!

Loved staying at this condo complex. Beautiful boardwalk on the lake that we walked on each day, close to the wedding venue we had events at and accessible to main road with plenty of restaurants and stores. Katie was very responsive as well and made the check in/check out process easy. We had a dog with us who would bark when someone was walking by outside which was out of character for him and a neighbor did submit a noise complaint. Katie was great about it, asking us to be more mindful but letting us know barking from a passerby is accepted but excessive barking won’t be if it continues. So if you plan to stay here and have a hyperactive dog, you may want to plan for how you’ll best control the situation (shut the blinds if you leave or don’t let them access the front bedroom where they can see the front walkway). Great place on the second floor with a good view from the deck. Well stocked with all the little things you might need in the kitchen, bathroom full of shampoo and body wash supplies. and all very clean. 3 big bedrooms- very comfortable! TVs in all the rooms. Nice small pool a few steps away. And a really nice restaurant on the water also a few steps away! Good stay!

Kim's home was amazing! Fully stocked, very clean, and felt just like home. Kim was also very responsive and accommodating. I look forward to staying here again when visiting Davidson.

Condo was just as described and exactly what we needed. It was clean and well appointed. We appreciate all their efforts. Keyless entry was easy to use and helpful.

One of the best decisions we made on a recent trip to NC was staying for 3 nights at Desiree’s lakefront condo in Davidson. Located on an inlet of beautiful Lake Norman this 2-bedroom rental exceeded our expectations. Curbside parking and ground-level access made entering and exiting the property quick and easy. And the 2-bedroom arrangement allowed us to put our 4-year old granddaughter to bed early while we stayed up to take in the view of the harbor or watch our favorite shows on the large-screen TV in our bedroom. We also enjoyed eating breakfast on the back porch and cooling off in the nearby pool. We did not have the time to enjoy all of the amenities the rental offered, but we made good use of the kitchen (with dishwasher and utensils) and the washer-dryer. Desiree’s lakefront property was a wise investment and contributed significantly to our enjoyment during our stay. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone seeking a quiet, private, and relaxing retreat!

Great waterfront condo in Harborside. Tastefully decorated in light neutral colors with upgraded kitchen and furnishings. Perfect central location for exploring Lake Norman and North Charlotte. Birkdale shops and restaurants only 7 min drive. Enjoyed the patio views of harbor and walking on boardwalk.

From check in to check out, our stay was perfect. The mornings were peaceful, watching the sun rise off the lake and evenings enjoyable watching the sunset. Our son enjoyed spending his days fishing off the walking deck and the local wine bar was a must have. There was also plenty to do within a short 1 mile drive. Katie’s place was clean, well furnished, comfortable and made our holiday trip a great experience.

Aida was extremely responsive and communicative. The location of the condo is perfect, right on Lake Norman.
