Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Ganges

Ramabai and Shobha, the mother and daughter-in-law duo, run the homestay. They are warm, hospitable, and truly good people. We admired the entrepreneurship of Ramabai, who translocated from a forest village, bought this piece of land, and built a home on it. The top floor has been furnished into a homestay. The village is in a remote forest, and making a homestay illustrates Ramabai's wisdom and business sense. The two ladies represent the best of Indian women and more power to them. Having a squeaky clean toilet and great home food is the icing on the cake. Last time, we stayed in a five-star hotel in Khajuraho. The home beats that, hands down. Go for it!

I just returned from an incredible adventure at Da Alohas Homestay, and I couldn't wait to share my experience with you. From the moment we arrived, the team at Da Alohas made us feel like cherished guests. The hospitality was top-notch, and it truly set the tone for our stay. The property itself is absolutely stunning, nestled in a serene environment that offers breathtaking views. I must say, enjoying lunch with such an amazing backdrop was a highlight of our trip. The scenery is so picturesque that it feels like you’ve stepped into a postcard! One of the standout aspects of our stay was the food. The chef at Da Alohas is a culinary genius! Each meal was a delight, showcasing a menu that speaks for itself. We savored every bite, from local delicacies to international favorites, all prepared with such care and attention to detail. If you're looking for a getaway that combines relaxation with adventure, I highly recommend visiting Da Alohas at least once.

Amazing place to stay 1. Clear communication by the host on what to expect, amenities, rules, and other add-ons I can avail (in case needed) 2. Resourceful and responsive caretaker; always ready to help 3. Place is exactly like the photos - spacious, can easily accommodate more than 30 guests, clean, has designated places to work, party, chill and has comfortable bedding 4. Used this space for my friends during my wedding. They had a blast.

Really beautiful property, it was very spacious and the vibe was very pleasant. Enjoyed every minute there. Pradeep was also very helpful and was always available if there was any sort of problem. Must give it a try it’s definitely worth it

The house is beautifully located. Stunning views from the bedrooms. The house is beautifully designed. The photos don’t do enough justice as it’s more beautiful in reality. The house help is very cooperative and the food was outstanding and homely. They were always ready for anything u need and very helpful. Kripa was also very quick in all information sharing and was very easy to navigate. The place is worth going and don’t miss a chance if u r that side of the country

Honestly. The best host Ive had. Period! Amman,Tayyab,Munnah were absolutely god sent. Solved all over problems. Assisted us to get new transport and accommodation, shopping, getting around etc. Most importantly honest, trustworthy and transparent! House was perfect and homely. 100% recommended. Bravo! I give ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ Will definitely stay again!

we enjoyed our stay. all the appliances were as described and were of a great help to us. although the approach road to the property from the main highway is a task with sharp inclines, but uska maza bhi kuch aur hai. I enjoyed climbing those inclines twice a day, specially in my morning walks. Every place has its plus and minuses and it depends upon an individual how to find a way to enjoy and have a great time. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Anamika’s apartment was an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The place was cosy, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed with thoughtful decor that made the space feel warm and inviting. The apartment was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a fully functional kitchen, air conditioning, and comfortable bedding, making our stay incredibly convenient. It was also very easy to find, and Anamika was a fantastic host—always responsive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed. Her family was equally welcoming, adding a personal touch to our stay that made it even more special. I’d give 5 stars for the hospitality and another 5 for the cleanliness and stylish design of the apartment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay!

The place is amazing, the hosts were great. They have a 24/7 care taker in the property named Sachin, who took care of all the needs we had on commuting, eating and sightseeing. The rooms are exactly as described in the listing, the view from the balcony was breathtaking. Though the property requires some stairs and I understand it is structurally required because if the terrain of the houses Nainital, and the hosts really cannot do anything about it, but Shivang was really helpful to inform us of the prior to that, and since no one among us had any mobility issue, we were fine. But for someone who has, this property is not recommended. The property is walking distance to the bustand and there are lot of eateries and activities to do around the area. The furnishings in the property were new and fairly maintained, the bedsheets were fresh and the blankets were good and fresh too. The bathrooms were clean and modern, kitchen had all the amenities. Overall our stay was amazing.

Very near to Kumbhmela and all locations are less than 5 kms. I recommend stay here. I am really impressed with the service provided during my stay.

Great place for a long term stay in Pokhara!

Booking this place was one of the best decisions of our trip. Totally loved the place and the views. Mr.G was super helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything Made our stay so memorable. We liked the place so much that we ended up extending our trip and staying an extra day. My two golden retriever dogs enjoyed the fenced space. The stream flowing right across the property made my dog super happy! I know it may appear expensive compared to other options in Muktinath but once you stay there you will realise it’s worth every penny you pay and more! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Our 4 nights stay at Sosa was incredibly peaceful and comfortable. The location and cabin overlooking the lake and mountain was absolutely gorgeous and beautiful. Host (himal) was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended airbnb stay.

The cabin is just wonderful. Trek is something which needs to be considered in advance to plan the day coz it will take 1-1:30 hrs to reach up and 30-45 mints downhill and the sun sets around 5:30 PM during winters so it will take an hour extra out of your day to reach the place and go up during day time. “Do not carry trolley bags” Apart from the trek the place is worth the hustle and the food is good, the caretaker is actually taking care of the property and its guests. There is nothing much to do around the property but the place itself is peaceful if someone wants to stay back have some booze and chill. Lastly the host is responsive and polite, would love to come back at Varun’s cabin sometime.

This cabin get-a-way was exactly what i needed after touring crowded cities with heavy smog. The cabin had basic amenities and a wonderful front porch. There is a little hike down the hill to reach the cabin, but this provided the peace and privacy i was looking for. It also has a perfect fire pit for cool evenings!! I recommend checking out Baba Cake for food and cakes, as well as Stars and Pines for coffee and food. Both had a great atmosphere and good healthy food. Kasar Devi temple is about 1km walk. I rented a scooty and visited other local attractions. The local host Aby was very helpful both before and during my stay. I will stay here again next time I am in Kasar Devi.

We had just the most amazing experience! The property is very beautiful, everything has been thoughtfully curated and it shows, there are cozy spots in the property with complete peace and grounding, the food was delicious too (english breakfast to north indian dinner - all super tasty), and the view is breathtaking, you can see the magnificent himalayan range! 😍 Celebrated birthday there, couldn't have asked for a better experience! Mukul and team were very sweet, friendly and helpful, and they also got us a delicious brownie for birthday cake cutting! 🫶🏻 Must visit 👐 😍
