What a great place! Can’t wait to go back!

Friends and I had a wonderful time. Walkable to the town, recommend Kings Head for food and music, we also discovered Harry’s the last day of our trip, which we walked by several times from the Airbnb. Nice walk to the pier and the surrounding areas.

Can we give 6 stars?? Orlagh is the most lovely host and gave a lot of useful recommendations, thanks Orlagh for the warm welcome. The place is gorgeous and the view is stunning! There is a walkable loop around that offers incredible views of the land and the sea. It’s just STUNNING and when it’s raining (it’s Ireland after all it has to!) you can snuggle in front of the fire place!! We loved our stay and we will be back - we recommend this place 200%

I cannot say enough about the peaceful location of Rhona’s house. It was truly magical. The view is stunning, the area is quiet, the birds singing in the morning accompanied by an occasional bleeting sheep in the distance was invigorating. The home was spacious and filled with sunlight. A place I would definitely return to and highly recommend!

was a lovely location, sea down the road, village had food, friendly cafes and fun stuff to do. fireplace wasn't working but the landlord told us in advance and the heating was perfectly warm for the weather we had. couldn't have been more helpful and communication was excellent.

Was so nice to get away from the hustle & bustle and catch up with our pals with stunning scenery all around. We really enjoyed the kayaks, Ping Pong, archery & barbecuing in the garden. Hoping to return again :)

Excellent. We had a peaceful 2 nights at Sandras. A local taxi brought us to and from the village. We walked from the house to the Dun Aengus fort then got a taxi back to pick up our bags en route to the ferry. Sandra kindly let us store the bags at the house after check out. 5 stars 🌟

Roisin went out her way to make sure we would be able to stay at the cottage even though the power was out. She was flexible if we wanted to cancel and book somewhere else but we decided to stay without power for a few days. There was flashlights, candles, a gas heater, wood and fire starter and even a nice bottle red wine waiting for us on arrival. The mattresses in the house are all brand new with lovely bedding. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need without feeling cluttered. The yard is lovely and the big windows help gather the sunshine. Roisin is helpful and a clear communicator. It’s been a sweet stay so far and we have one more month to go.

Enjoyed our short stay at Michael and Bredas, it was peaceful and quiet. We used the house as a base for visiting family in Galway and found it suited our needs. Thanks for letting us stay.

Lovely ambience, completely into nature. They got my kids loved the place a lot, they got Beautifull farm land with sheep's, horses, hens and woods to walk in with kids play area.

I loved the peace and quiet, and being able to see the ponies, birds, clouds, rain, and rainbows from the big windows. Corofin is close (don’t miss the Morning Dew cafe), and the Burren National Park is on the doorstep. Mike and Marie were friendly, welcoming, and willing to share local knowledge. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen tiny but functional. A great base for exploring the area.

Enjoyed a wonderful stay at Anne's. The cottage is clean, well stocked, great shower pressure, comfortable bed, on top of that all the wonderful extra breakfast treats added to the experience but the best part was Anne, friendly and welcoming from the start, this will be my go to Airbnb for every visit to the beautiful West of Ireland.

Edel was a brilliant host to me. So helpful and responsive. She was very accommodating with my late check-in time and generously offered me a lift into town. The home was spotlessly clean and had everything I could need. I would very highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay in this peaceful little cottage. Very cosy with the fire. Was very warm up on the mezzanine.

If you’re looking for a secluded escape to truly appreciate the rugged charm of Connemara, Hawthorn House is an exceptional choice. We left feeling refreshed and connected to the beauty of Ireland’s west. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful place ,great location fabulous scenery and very private location with a very relaxing hot tub. As for the hosts they were amazing super friendly and done everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend and we will be back soon. Thank you very much.

This beautifully crafted hut is the perfect spot for a change of pace. It is cosy, peaceful and utterly relaxing. The hot tub stayed hot all night and can still be used in the morning. Our pup had a great time too. We felt so refreshed after our stay, we will be back!

My stay was absolutely wonderful! It was exactly what I was looking for – a peaceful, quiet place, perfect for anyone wanting to disconnect and recharge. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, ideal for taking a real break. The hosts were incredibly kind and always responded quickly to any messages. I truly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

Great break from the rat race. Exactly what we needed. Colm was attentive and accommodating our late arrival. It was great that we could have our doggie with us. Worth it!

We loved our stay. The place was so cosy with really comfortable beds and lovely underfloor heating. The location was fabulous, it felt completely remote and yet it was a five minute drive to a lovely town that had a large Supervalue and a lovely bakery. We explored lots of places such as the Cliffs of Moher and Lahinch which were both close by. So light and airy inside with beautiful colours that reflected the landscape, a very interesting array of books as well. Our favourite part was the barrel hot tub where you can look up at the stars at night (there are so many because of the lack of light pollution in the area). Definitely check this place out!
