Villa holiday rentals in Francavilla al Mare

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this airbnb. We appreciated the beautiful view, washer, ac in each room, and multiple bathrooms. The location is a bit out of the way but they offer a shuttle service from 8-12 and 4-12 which is incredibly helpful. Nello, our shuttle driver was the sweetest and goofiest man. We loved him. The walk without the shuttle service is lengthy and inconvenient especially with luggage. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The villa was wonderful, clean, well equipped and had beautiful views! We were a party of 12 and there was plenty of room for us , there are 6 bathrooms too. The pool was brilliant, with the most amazing views. We used public transport the whole time we were at the villa, cheap and had no issues, the roads round there are a bit tight so we didn’t fancy driving ourselves. But the stand out for us was Alfonso! He booked restaurants, sorted pizza orders, gave us trip suggestions and arranged transfers. We had one issue and it was sorted the next day. Alfonso goes above and beyond to make sure you have an amazing stay and I have to say that most of this 5 star review is due to him. We would recommend staying here and loved it!

We absolutely loved the garden and the pool, and Enzo’s dad was very sweet. The house was slightly shabby, but the bedrooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was really great. It was perfect for a family holiday, and we would definitely return to Ischia. The mini market is extremely useful and convenient. It was confusing that both the listing address and the map on the listing displayed different incorrect addresses. The last message Enzo sent contained the correct address, but it still left us confused and lost on arrival as the taxi driver had no idea where the house was. Luckily Enzo’s dad came and saved us. The kitchen was mostly well equipped, but lacked enough glasses, mugs and serving dishes to make cooking and serving family meals easy. However, we would still highly recommend the villa as the garden and pool made it a fabulous holiday destination. We loved Ischia. Enzo’s dad brought us homemade wine and eggs from the garden, and made us feel very welcome- many thanks!

My family and I loved our stay here. We know Ostuni well, and the local area has so much to offer. Alexis and Steve's place was perfect for our young family, it was a really good sized space. If we weren't out and about, it was great to be able to enjoy the time in and around the big pool in the peace and tranquility of the countryside. Alexis & Steve were great hosts, they are such lovely people, and always made themselves available if required. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Ostuni! 😁

We loved staying at Tina’s place. It was stunning but at the same time very comfortable. We all slept very well. The bedrooms were beautiful and each had their own bathroom or ensuite. The pool was great as well. Tina was such a lovely and helpful host. She obviously cares about her guests and the villa. We loved the location and would recommend a car. It was so quiet compared to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. We would definitely recommend Tina’s place and would love to go back one day. Grazie Tina.

We had the most beautiful stay at Judith’s house! The house was beautiful and in the middle of nature with a large swimming pool. It was very quiet and peaceful. The village of Pisticci is super cute, and Judith had good recommendations of restaurants. The house was clean and well furnished, we had a very nice time in the tranquil countryside. Looking forward to go back to Basilicata !

This villa was 10x more stunning in real life than in the photos! It’s extremely quiet, private, and in a great location. The grocery store was very conveniently located, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners and enjoy gorgeous sunsets every night. After a long trip, I usually am ready to get home, but I truly did not want to leave this place. Our hosts were quick to communicate, friendly, and professional. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Donna is a great host and the house is perfect for relaxing with family and it is close of all the best places in Puglia. The house is very well equipped, maybe the best equipped Airbnb’s house we have been until now. I suggest every one who wants to have a beautiful journey in Puglia, to enjoy this villa.

I cannot say enough great things about our stay here. I don’t even know where to begin because everything was fabulous. We had the best time and we already want to come back! The setting is stunning, the house is pristine, and the location is great. You are removed from the towns but it’s well located and you can do a lot of day trips to other towns and beaches. Check in was great and we communicated with Giulio for everything and he was very responsive. I’

We had a lovely stay at Mario’s villa, the views are stunning. As a group of ten we had plenty of space and highly enjoyed our stay. The villa is in a secluded area for privacy but when leaving the villa I would highly recommend leaving any valuables or cash in the safe. We used the private chef who was fantastic. Communication was easy and the hosts were very responsive. Would recommend, we had a great time.

It was evident from the beginning that Fabrizio’s number one goal is to provide first class service to his guests. If you are looking for a beautiful home in a rural setting you won’t be deposited. As grandparents, my wife and I were looking for a place to spend quality time with our adult children, their spouses, and our grandchildren ages 8-14, and at the same time experience Italy from a rural perspective before going to Rome. Our stay in Massa Fermana was full of great experiences: truffle hunting, Italian cooking class and dinner for the entire family with our cook and her husband in their rural home, wineries, restaurants, gelaterias, seaside visit, travel to historic sites. and much more. Since it was the beginning of Olive harvest, we picked olives from the olive trees on our hosts property and although we were not able to have the olives pressed for oil due to time constraints, Fabrizio gave us a bottle of fresh pressed olive oil from the first harvest of the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Villa. The views were incredible and it was very peaceful. The host Luccio, was wonderful and very helpful with restaurant reservations and organizing transportation for us. We will definitely be back. Lisa & Tonii Reynolds

If you are looking for a villa in total tranquility and super close to the sea like we wanted, Villaria is the best solution! The interior is cared in every single detail, the kitchen is complete with every accessory and comfort, there are three bedrooms each with its own bathroom, spacious and functional. The outdoor patio is very big and ideal for dining or having an aperitif during the sunset time, so peaceful! 😌 The villa is complete with a big swimming pool, parking slots and charging station for electric cars! The cleanliness of both the interior and exterior is impeccable! There are also both washer and dryer and the AC! Francesco was very kind and helpful Highly recommended!

Great place for a large group. Luca communicated quickly with us and helped us with anything we needed. Check-in/out was very easy. The view is great - you can see the Faraglioni from the house. Just note that it's about a 10 minute walk uphill to the city center - for the most part we were able to just call a taxi if we needed.

Our stay at the masseria was just great! From the moment we arrived, we were very warmly welcomed and felt comfortable right away. The masseria itself is a real gem – beautifully restored, with loving details and incredible charm. The location is fantastic: Surrounded by olive groves and extensive nature, we were able to switch off wonderfully and enjoy the tranquility. At the same time, it is the ideal base for discovering the region's beauty. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and with valuable insider tips on the best restaurants, beaches and attractions in the area. We highly recommend the Masseria to anyone who wants to experience an authentic and relaxing time in Apulia. Thank you for this wonderful experience. We will be back :)

This is a fantastic house with everything you could need for a large family. The hosts were super responsive to any questions we had. It’s a 30min walk to Sorrento or you can take trains easily. We took trains from piano to Naples, Pompeii and Herculaneum and it was easy to do. It was winter when we stayed but the pool would be fabulous in summer. House was warm and cosy for the winter months. Would definitely recommend.

The view over the Bay of Naples is spectacular.

We loved staying at Andy & Julie’s place. Andy was super responsive, really helpful, gave us his great ‘Guide to Hvar’ and answered all of our many questions before arriving. Dario the taxi driver was a particularly useful recommendation. The villa was characterful with lovely stone. It was in a very peaceful village with a few amenities - we loved the local wine tasting. The kitchen in particular seemed newly refurbished and was even stocked with some basics for cooking. We loved our lunches outside in the courtyard. Thank you Andy and Julie!

A beautiful place to explore wider Puglia from. Great host. Would return. Situated just north of Porto Cesareo. Car essential with parking space inside secure perimeter walls. Most sights were 45-90 minute drive. Modern, clean with comfortable furnishings and beds. Well equipped kitchen. Self-catered: 20 mins to nearest Lidl. Short drive to reach restaurants (10 minutes). End of October still warm and sunny in daytime (shorts, t-shirt and slides). Able to swim in small pool (very refreshing though ☺️) and in the sea at nearby beach (5 mins walk: sandy and shallow). Arrived after a severe rain so suffered more with mosquitoes outside which stopped us sitting out in the evenings sadly. Solar-powered hot water very limited (max 2 very short showers). No hot water from kitchen tap. Immersion heater did not seem to get temperature past tepid even after a couple of hours. Would be less of an issue in high summer. Out of season largely was silent around (beach club noise one evening).

We were two couples and spent a week in one of the two villas. It was simply wonderful and perfect. The beautiful interior of the house and the fantastic parklike garden with a wonderful pool, the outdoor kitchen and the huge olive-garden make it impossible not to have a fantastic stay in Puglia. We stayed at this villa during the week of Ferragosto. After an intense year of work, we needed a quiet place to regain our energy and be with our daughters. Well, Villa Rita was exactly what we needed. Charming villa, spacious, attention to detail, with quality furnishings, embroidered sheets, comforts of all kinds and a clean and large swimming pool that was very difficult to stay out of. Claudia was a host always available during and after the booking for advice or useful information and her father was able to take care of us and the villa in a discreet and polite manner. A wonderful bubble with the scent of citrus. Impossible not to go back.

We had a very nice stay, everything was exactly as per the photos. The House is well equipped. Pool and garden area very nice and Pool has been cleaned every morning. The bed is very comfortable and the whole house very clean. Maria was very nice when she welcomed us and Checkin and out was very easy. Excellent coffee machine.
