Holiday rentals with lake access in Francavilla al Mare

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely little house on the edge of Scanno Lake. The house is both comfortable and warm, with everything you need to feel at home. The kitchen is very well equipped, with basic food products. The bathroom is well appointed, including toilet, sink, bidet and a nice shower. The little extra: the washer with dryer, ideal for an extended stay. Also note the very efficient heating. We were particularly charmed by the breathtaking view of the lake from the upstairs bedroom, where a very comfortable queen bed was waiting for us. The cleanliness of the house was impeccable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Alessandra's welcome was most warm. She provided us with great tips and was available and responsive. In short, this house is a real gem that we recommend without hesitation.

Mr. Germano has two apartments in a beautiful rustic surrounded by greenery, which boasts a long history related to transhumance and its centuries-old traditions. Both apartments are spacious (Ginestra has a larger dining room), well equipped, cool in summer and well heated in winter (we tried both apartments in both seasons). Mr. Salvatore, who takes care of the check-in and maintenance of the property, is very kind and helpful. The priceless plus is the location of the rustic: it stands on the southwest shores of the lake, on the slopes of the forest ridge at the top of which stand Mount Petroso and the Mountains of the Meta. It enjoys a private estate (shared with other guests of the property) that, although very well cared for, remains in constant and respectful dialogue with the wild nature of the Park. The center of Barrea is however 5 minutes away from the easily accessible dirt road. We'll definitely be back.

The stay is perfect, the house has everything (but really everything) to be able to spend days in tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There were four of us and we had a very good time. Courtesy, cleanliness, kindness from the host and great value for money. Recommended.

Lorenzo was a very kind and helpful host, he welcomed us and showed us some places to visit and restaurants. The place is very clean, super quiet location and no neighbors. We spent 4 days with our dog who could easily stay in the garden (private and closed) and visited many places nearby. The only "negative" aspects of the accommodation were the lack of mosquito nets in the bedrooms, which means that in summer, leaving the windows open (you were feeling great!) some insects entered, and the distance from the town center: if you want to take a tour of the village in the evening the road to get there is uphill and quite long. Thelatter aspect did not weigh us because in the evening, after long walks, we always went to bed after dinner. We didn't use the bbq. In short: a more than positive experience and highly recommended for those who want to spend a few days in total relaxation to visit Abruzzo, away from the confusion.

Beautiful peaceful spot. Brand new apartment and beautifully decorated. I enjoyed looking out on the water and even saw dolphins! Ana was a great host and even brought me fresh oranges.

Everything is perfect, the host is always responsive to anything and flexible on check-in times. The place is strategic to appreciate the surroundings of Lake Barrea and quickly reach the ski resorts.

We had a wonderful time at Tamara's place. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need and tastefully furnished. It is really a cozy place that makes you feel at home. Govedari is a beautiful village in the middle of the national park. The environment is peaceful and immersed in beautiful nature. Tamara and her husband have been amazing hosts, always responsive, friendly and helpful. We warmly recommend this accommodation!

Maria was so welcoming and happy to host us. The view is great- you can see across Long Lake and to the ocean. We got fresh lemons and oranges from their green houses. We didn’t have enough time and the weather wasn’t good enough for bikes but she would have let us borrow some. The bed was comfortable and apartment spacious!

Lovely place, the apartment was perfect and clean with views over lake .But be prepared for the stairs if you have heavy luggage since the building doesn’t have lift and also had issues with the WiFi that’s wasn’t resolved while our stay.. A bit tricky for parking because no free car parking near the apartment, don’t get me wrong plenty of spaces to park but a bit costly if staying for a few days. The town is lovely and is very close from the apartment and has all the amenities close by. The beach is close by at walking distance from the apartment and is really good and clean but be prepared for the costly restaurant in the beach.

Alessandro was very responsive, even tough I did not need to ask for many things place was as described and we'll located just 2 minutes walk to the train station, so you can get Napoli in around 45 minutes. friendly ppl also lives in that building we have a very comfortable staying in there highly recommend that place for family

we spent beautiful days in a very central home in the heart of old Vieste. Sandor is a very helpful, very kind and caring host with guests. We absolutely recommend this solution. When we return to Vieste we will definitely be your guests again. Highly recommended.

Nena’s place is definitely the highlight of our entire summer. Probably the best location we have tried until now. Just a few steps to the sea and the area is quite private. The place was so clean, well equipped. And beyond everything Nena is incredibly friendly, kind and helpful host. We enjoyed the tranquility, the view, the sea, the terrace, everything. I hope we will meet again.

This was a fantastic little apartment in Vomero. A great area! Walking distance to so many restaurants, bakeries, great shopping and bars. Also walking distance to 2 funiculars, a taxi stand and the Metropolitana! There is a beautiful old staircase right next to the building that takes you down to the city. We walked down (a LOT of stairs) through the Spanish Quarter, the Maradonna memorial, famous churches and piazzas - had an authentic and amazing lunch and then walked to the funicular for a ride back up the mountain. The expansive view from the apartment was spectacular! to Sorrento and Capri! The host was great and provided us with restaurant and pizzeria recommendations that were very good. You can really just walk down to the busy downtown of Vomero and find so many options!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the villa. Just what we were searching for, a haven of tranquility. The hosts were delightful, Razu in particular was extremely helpful throughout the entire stay regarding information and supplied us with an array of fantastic meals. We didn't want for anything. There were plenty of things to see and do within a short car journey. I would wholeheartedly recommend Villa Amphora. As most of the other reviews state, it is a truly unique experience. Regarding the one negative review on the website; all I can say is I really don't understand what they found so disagreeable.

Toni’s place is nice and cozy, very clean and well equipped. We needed a fully equipped kitchen for cooking and we found everything we wanted to use. It made our staying way more easier. The terrace is wonderful with a beautiful view to the lake, we loved it so much! Toni was very helpful and communicative all the time during our staying and before, when I had some important questions. He waited us with cake, which was really heartwarming after a long drive. Mljet is a really special place, if you like nature and active vacation.

Best Vacation Ever!!!! We were enchanted from the moment we drove up to this Adriatic Treasure! I almost hesitate to describe it for fear that all days will be filled immediately and we won’t have a chance to return soon enough! The white pristine marble walkways and terrace provided access to the cold crystal clear water on three sides. The large outdoor area always provided a place of sun or shade throughout the day. Our grandchildren loved playing on the two paddle boards and exploring the outdoors. The AC inside offered an immediate respite when we stepped inside the cool white interior of the home. A treat of food and beverages awaited to our surprise. Totally unexpected! Marko was the perfect host, offering site recommendations including reservations at the scrumptious Sudvic Restaurant nearby. Seafood plucked right from the waters beside it! We are making plans now to try to return to this amazing magical paradise. You should book your vacation here now! You will not regret it!

We had a fantastic time at Mario's beautiful residence. The location is incredibly private and peaceful and the house has everything you need. The pool was amazing and the grounds were large and well maintained. Highly recommended!

The Thinkers House is a dream house by the sea. The breathtaking view from the front porch and from the rooms can't be beat. But then you enter the roof terrace and it takes your breath: during the day the deep blue of the sea and an infinite starry sky at night. Marko is a very friendly and helpful host who beautifully designed and decorated his house. We would very easily come back.
