Stephanie was a terrific host—friendly, responsive, and always helpful. The apartment was spotless, nicely furnished, and perfectly located. We loved being so close to Michigan Avenue shopping and enjoyed the stunning views of Lake Michigan from the apartment, with even more incredible ones from the rooftop. The kitchen had everything we needed, though we didn’t cook much. The mattress was high-quality and super comfortable—a must after busy days exploring! As others suggested, bringing an eye mask might be helpful for sleeping in. The location was unbeatable, with everything within walking distance—shops, great restaurants, the subway, and even grocery stores and markets. The coffee shop in the lobby was such a convenient and cozy touch for mornings. We were in town to explore Chicago as tourists, and this spot made it effortless to see everything the city has to offer. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return. Overall great for our second stay at Craig's place. Walkable neighborhood with easy parking. Comfortable place exactly as described. Easy to check in/out on our own, and Craig is a great communicator who went above and beyond when we messed up on something. Thanks so much!

This our second stay at Shanna’s place. We just love it for quick romantic getaways. This trip we stayed in for dinner and made steaks. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meal. It was lovely. Breakfast at the Sunshine Restaurant is always delicious. We checked out the Palisades for some scenery and then did some antiquing the next day. We didn’t get to use the hot tub this time because of extreme winter temperatures but, I loved the claw foot tub for a long hot bath. The bed is super comfortable and we both slept great! Shanna is a helpful and friendly host who is always looking for ways to make your stay special. We couldn’t ask for a better host. I’m already looking forward to our next stay!

Myself and my daughter stayed at Carla’s place for two weeks over the Christmas break. It was easy to check in and followed the instructions given. It smelt and looked very clean on arrival. The living room was as pictured like the rest of the apartment. The laundry was separate but was easy to use Carla provided the laundry detergent and coins as the machines were coin operated. (I don’t think the laundry detergent is apart of her amenities) I am very grateful that Carla had given me more. The apartment was very comfortable and peaceful overall. Only noise I heard was from the neighbours above from time to time, but not overly noisy. The neighbours I met were very friendly and polite that lived in the building. The local neighbourhood was very quiet as Carla’s place is opposite the park. We did frequent visits to the park and everyone was friendly. It was very easy to communicate with Carla and she replied very quickly, no request was too big or too small, she provided everything.

We loved our stay! Such a cozy atmosphere with rustic touches to the decor and walls. Furniture and bed were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. The location is amazing and walking distance to all of the dining and shops on Main Street. Not sure if there was someone staying in the other apartment, but we didn’t hear anything at all. Would love to stay here again and highly suggest!

This was a lovely choice for our family winter weekend getaway. The hot tub was awesome, but the sauna was the real hit with everyone! A few questions came up and Anna was very responsive and helpful. The only minor negative I would state is that the living room furniture isn't the most comfortable for just lounging about, but it was still like an 8 out of 10. The location is right on the river and although there are neighbors on both sides, it was quiet and felt private. The gas fireplace was cozy and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful house with views of Lake Michigan. It’s a shame that we could not enjoy the views or the balcony outside because it was very cold. Watched few people ice fishing.🎣 Our family had a very pleasant stay. The house was very cozy and welcoming. Hostess left a lot of treats and goodies and welcomed us with a Wisconsin Kringle 😋 Living room was filled with games for entertainment and the family room had comfortable sofa recliner and rockers. Sue was attentive to our needs and responded quickly. The kitchen is stocked with all sorts of condiments and dishes. The assortment of tea and coffee is very thoughtful of the hostess. We appreciated it. Felt right at home…wish we could stay longer!! We ate at the Boat House restaurant which is walkable distance from the house. It had very good selection of sea food and the service was excellent.

My family had such a nice stay at Waylon’s place! It was incredibly relaxing. All the beds are comfortable. He has a ton of huge tvs! All the custom wood pieces are really cool. Nice bathrooms and the sauna was amazinggggg! We used it multiple times a day. Dogs loved the private backyard area and little canal and we had a lovely bonfire 🔥 in the backyard! 15 mins away from a really beautiful nature preserve and hiking! We had great day trips to lake Geneva. Waylon was an amazing communicator and really flexible during our stay. He truly went above and beyond!!! Thank you, Waylon!! We would 100% recommend!!

This lake house was so cute! It was clean and organized. Any questions I had were answered very quickly. Loved that fact that we could take a 5-minute walk into town and go to the local cafe for meals. As our stay was not for vacation, we didn't make full use of the river/kayaks but it looked like fun and we enjoyed the porch. If you are not used to trains going by at night, bring a sound machine. I was very glad I had one. The pictures are accurate but you should be aware that the stairs to the loft bedroom are located in one of the downstairs bedrooms. The only full shower is located in the third bedroom. We just weren't paying close attention to realize this. All in all, very nice home to stay in, but there is little privacy because of the stairs and the shower, and also because the loft overlooks the living room/kitchen so the sound and light travel right up. We were 6 people flying in from 2 states staying for 3 nights for a family funeral so this suited our purposes nicely.

We stayed her over New Years and had a great time. The house is very open with lots of room for everyone. Beautiful views overlooking the wetlands and lake. There was plenty of beds and could easily accommodate a large group. Hot tub was in a great location out back with a beautiful view. Would love to see how beautiful it is in the summer!

We are family and friends who want to relax and have fun. It has been our tradition to have our winter break travel. Jen and Ross’s place is just what we need. We had an amazing stay. We had everything we need. Clear instructions. Even the lake is frozen it still look beautiful. It’s cold since it’s winter but they also have fire place and space heaters available. Their place is also close to Wilmot mountain where enjoyed skiing and tubing. We’d love to come back during summer.

Need to spend a night in the Racine/Kenosha area and stumbled upon this gem! There were four of us and our little dog and it was perfect. I think each of us said, “it’s too bad we’re not staying for another night!” The pictures don’t really do it justice but Mindy’s house is homey, comfortable, and spotless! The kitchen was well-equipped, beds were comfy, and the backyard/river view is wonderful. Thank you Mindy!

William has a fabulous place that was perfect for what we needed. Clean, plenty of linen and towels for when we needed it, and every supply we could ask for. Yes, the train was next door, but surprisingly didn't interrupt anything for us, so I'd say that description was accurate. We would absolutely stay here again.

These accommodations were fantastic! It was comfortable, homey, and was a great place for us to hang out and celebrate Christmas with our family. I can honestly say this is the first time I've been on a family vacation where i was NOT itching to go home, and i attribute that to Jodi's excellent hospitality. We were sorry to leave!

We had a great time at Rachel’s place. It was warm and bright when we walked in, and everything was spotless. We had all of the comforts of home and a beautiful view of Lake Como. Comfy beds and nice linens. We were in the area for Winterfest on Lake Geneva. The condo was a short distance from there, yet nicely tucked away from all of the hustle and bustle, in a wooded area. There was a nice variety of restaurants nearby with good food in different price points. We had a great time!

I am very satisfied with my experience, and I will definitely rebook the next time I'm in Milwaukee.

The place was amazing! Beautiful and walkable location. Highly recommend staying here if you want to visit New Buffalo!
