We spent 4 days at Laurence's. Laurence is a very welcoming host, with recommendations for nearby visits as well as good places for local products... The listing was as described on site. We were able to visit the caves of Lascaux, the Parc de Thôt, the cave of proumeyssac. As well as nice walks thanks to terra aventura that takes us around villages while playing . We would definitely recommend Laurence's cottage.

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

We had a wonderful week staying in Marie Francoises place. She made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. It was a very quiet place and we could hear nothing but a few sheep. Everything we needed was available in the village about 5 minutes drive away. Very central to explore the Dordogne area. Would definitely recommend if you like to get away from it all.

I highly recommend Régis' rental. The place is beautiful, quiet, the house is large and well equipped. Special mention for the terrace with umbrella, deckchairs, large table and a plancha! Ideally located in the heart of Périgord, at a reasonable distance from all the points of interest of the department.
