This was our best Airbnb experience to date. The guesthouse is beautifully designed, comfortable, and well equipped for relaxing and cooking a meal. The property is quiet, immaculately kept, and Mattias’s farm and animals are very special and add to the overall experience. (Thank you, Mattias, for the tour and introducing us to the donkeys and goats!!). Ellezelles and the nearby villages have all the basics— grocery, pharmacy, a few cafes/restaurants, and a nice Saturday market. There is also an extensive trail network that you can pick up a few meters from the front door. Highly recommend staying here if you’re seeking a relaxing stay in the country. Thank you, Mattias, for being such a welcoming and gracious host!

I thought charging extra for towels was a little odd but otherwise our stay was quite comfortable.

It was a great stay. The house is beautiful and the decor is lovely. You have everything you need, but no more than necessary. The kitchen is, especially for people who like to cook, just great - ideal for the stay of several people. You have 2 ovens, 1 steamer and 1 Quooker - just great. The dining table stands in an open inviting room with generous views of the garden and pool - magnificent! The landlords are very sweet and friendly. Very warm people who are easily accessible and helpful. The beds are already made on arrival and there are plenty of towels. We highly recommend the property. Dogs are also welcome and the garden is perfect for the furry friends. 1 hour to Brussels and about 50 minutes to Lille (France) and otherwise you simply have your peace and privacy due to the rural area and the completely fenced property. The supermarket is nearby, about 1 km.
