Thank you, Anna! What a lovely home... we adored the historic feel and wonderful vistas.

We stayed at Donna’s cottage for 5 weeks whilst working in Oamaru. The cottage was the perfect place to stay and had all the amenities required for a long term stay. Very comfy beds and sofa, and stunning view of the ocean as well.

Amazing place to stay, would definitely recommend. It was so peaceful & the views were great & the accommodation was fantastic with extra little touches with drinks, breakfast & treats. Fabulous!

Set amongst farmland on its own lifestyle block, this property affords spectacular views and is within walking distance of the beach. It is well set out, has everything you need and was indeed a home away from home but with better scenery! We highly recommend a stay here and we wish we could have stayed longer!! A lovely way to end our two week journey around the South Island.

Our stay at The Bach Kakanui Retreat was absolutely refreshing and amazing, exceeding my expectations in every way. The home had a warm and relaxing atmosphere, was immaculately clean and well maintained, well stocked for guests, It even surpassed my daughter's expectations. Which is a bonus. Had the most comfortable of sleep after a long day of travels.
