Second time staying, this time with a baby and we had a wonderful stay. Feels just like home, didn’t want to go home! Two days was too short for us, next time we will be booking for longer!

We had a fantastic stay at Donna’s listing, it was exactly as described and my niece had the best time at the playground right next door to the house. Shops and the local cafe were a hit, we could t have asked for more.

We had an amazing stay at Billy's Airbnb studio! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Billy was an excellent host – very responsive and accommodating, always making sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to the water and everything we wanted to explore, yet still peaceful and quiet. We highly recommend Billy’s place and would love to stay again next time we’re in the area!

Amy’s place was amazing and exactly as described. It was so clean we thought it had just been renovated, not a spot anywhere. Everything was well kept in cupboards, the beds were made really well and rooms really tidy. The living areas were well presented and the bathrooms looked and smelled clean with fresh towels on the beds. The kitchen was also fully equipped with everything you could need. It’s in a great location only 10 minute drive from Newcastle, the beaches and restaurants and the residential area is very quiet at night. Amy is also very responsive and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone thinking about it. We will definitely return if we are visiting Newcastle again in the future.

Fantastic stay at Connie’s apartment. There were clear instructions as to entry and car parking and entry to the apartment was via the lift from the basement car park. Everything in the apartment was perfect for us with comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, and full facilities. Lovely private outdoor area with a relaxed ambiance. Certainly the best Airbnb we have stayed in and worth every penny!

Our stay at Karen's property was fabulous, just the right peaceful mini break that we so needed. The whole property is beautiful, peaceful, and well looked after, you can even have a few shots of golf. We all loved the pool such a nice added Bonus, we were there every day after going to the beach (or even before some days haha), it's lovely at night with the lights. The guest house is exactly as per the photos in the ad, actually, it feels a bigger space than the photos. The kitchen is well stocked to do some cooking if needed. Our 8 yo boy loved spending time with Zoey (their dog), who is just gorgeous and has such a lovely nature, he also really enjoyed being in charge of feeding the chickens and checking for eggs :-). Karen and Richard are lovely hosts, super accommodating and friendly but also respectful of your privacy, the perfect balance. It was a lovely stay and we hope we can be back soon, our son has already asked when we can go back. Thanks again Karen and Richard :-)

Had a fabulous stay, with many hours spent relaxing around the pool and bbq ! A very comfortable well located home with plentiful space for summer fun and entertainment. Proximity to Shoal Bay, numerous beaches and walks provide ample activity for all the family. We hope to be back next year!

Another wonderful week of holiday relaxation at this Hawks Nest property. Our family of 4 plus dog have been back a number of times, and the property never disappoints. It’s a great spot, walkable to shops and beaches, yet secluded and private. The pool makes it a rare find.

We stayed at Tanya’s place as a group of families with kids and a pet dog. The place was amazing to accommodate all our needs and we had an amazing time. The location, amenities, pool everything was just perfect. Tanya was very responsive and accommodated our requests like bed settings etc. We also booked the pony experience for the kids which they throughly enjoyed. I would highly recommend this place for large groups especially with kids. Five stars! Bonus points to know that Tanya is also a celebrity in her own right with even an Olympic presence under her belt.

Bryony’s place is just magical. It had everything we needed and more. The view and the wrap around verandah were what stood out for us. Having small people, it meant they were safe when they were playing outside, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves. The kitchen was really well equipped and we appreciated the little things we didn’t have to pack such as oils, coffee, dishwashing tablets and shampoo etc. The house was extremely comfortable for a large party of 9 as we were able to retreat to different areas of the house when needed. It would be even better if there was a vacuum and a mop so that we could adequately clean up after ourselves. We had the most enjoyable time and hope to book again.

We had a great stay at Kristina's place! It's in a perfect location, just a short walk to Jimmy's Beach. The home had all the amenities we needed, and we felt very comfortable during our time there.

We managed to fit ourselves, baby and dog into the tiny home and it was fine! Was something different to try and it was great to have our dog with us. The place was clean, Ed was lovely to deal with and bed etc were very comfy.

Mitchell & Jacqui were amazing. So helpful, considerate and so much information. Amazing cheese, meats, olives, dip, biscuit platter provided as well as bread, milk condiments and so many pantry items including the lovely coffee. Would seriously stay here again. Was perfect for the number of people we had as well as our 2 dogs. Highly, highly recommend their home. A gorgeous walk either into Shoal Bay or Fingle Bay. The perfect distance to both.

Perfect spot for getaway. Scott is a fantastic host extremely flexible and generous in his interactions with us. The home is always spotless with all the conveniences needed when on a holiday. I have stayed at many Airbnbs and rate this place very highly for cleanliness, privacy, security and proximity to cafes and restaurants. Looking forward to getting back there soon.

It’s a comfortable and spacious place in a good location. There are shops in walking distance and so many beaches around. Kitchen is very big and well equipped. Massive TV with Netflix and Disney plus. Trampoline and cubby house in the garden which were great for kids. The fairy lights in the garden were lovely! One bedroom is located outside through the balcony without aircon so it may get hot in hot days but it was ok to sleep with the ceiling fan.

This is one of the nicest Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. I went with a group of friends, and we all kept saying how it had everything we could possibly need—and more. I highly recommend this Airbnb if you’re planning to visit the Port Stephens/Sand Dune area. The outdoor space was stunning and perfect for a larger group!

Perfect place for a weekend getaway! The pictures didn't do the place justice, we had a fantastic time at the house with the large backyard and pool. Alex was a fantastic host who was extremely helpful and responsive even showing us through the house making us feel right at home. Would recommend to others!
