Beachfront holiday rental in Fingal Bay

Clare was very friendly, helpful & always quickly responded to my messages. Great location : we ( inc dogs ) loved the morning & evening beach walk. When visiting Nelson Bay we will stay again at Clair’s ☺️

We loved the Redhead Beach house. It was in a great location and easy walking distance to the beach. The house was very spacious, luxurious and full of light. It was a rainy weekend but it had plenty of games as well as a great games room in the garage. The veranda gave us a lovely view to the sea and was a pleasant spot to relax and chat. We had to bring our dog at the last minute and Natalie and Collin couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating about this. My family felt very welcome and had a lovely stay.

Our stay was great. Very convenient to everything The unit was very well appointed and had everything we needed. It’s better than the photos. We will return again.

Thank you Steven for sharing your beautiful home with us. My girlfriends and I had the best time relaxing inside out outside your home. Plenty of spaces to relax and play. The Loft at Corlette was magnificent. We stayed 3 nights eith our two small dogs and absolutely loved the sleepy little street, super close proximity to the dog beach, salamander shopping complex, best fish and chips at the Salamander shops, easy access to Nelson Bay and lovely short drive to Shoal bay and Fingal bay. We enjoyed a bbq on the balcony with the sounds of the ocean. The Loft was very clean, inviting with beautiful interiors and accessories. Loved the giant kitchen bench top, it was very well stocked with everything we needed. Extremely comfortable beds and rooms with ceiling fans. Loved the chill vibe and the added outdoor shower. The perfect nook to leave our SUP boards inflated in the carport. Only downside was we didn't discover the hiding place of the ironing board and iron till we left - though we just looked like we were locals with crinkles! Zoe and Tyson have done a gorgeous job, you can feel their love and care in every inch. We truly hope to return soon.

Elizabeth's place was fantastic for the two of us. It was pristinely clean and tidy. The photos matched the description of the property accurately. Location was perfect, being 300m from a patrolled beach, and a short 500m walk to patrolled ocean baths. It was near to plenty of cafe's and restaurants, and close to bus stops. Elizabeth was a fantastic host, with excellent communication skills. She was proactive with instructions and information to assist us in our stay, including suggestions for activities alternate to the beach/pool. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely place, great location and very homely. Would not stay anywhere else in Newcastle when back!

We live in the area and just needed a place to crash while we had some work done at home. The house is beautiful and airy and instructions were crystal clear. We loved having a little staycation in the best suburb in Newy!

Great place for young family. The kids loved the heated pool and trampolines. Comfy and clean, the unit was well equipped and amazingly located, across road from beach. Would stay again

Narelle’s place is situated perfectly 2 mins walk from beautiful Little Beach and other attractions/activities in this area of Port Stephens. The apartment was beautiful and spotless with a fully stocked kitchen with everything you may possibly need as well as games and rackets for the tennis court. Parking was available on site. Additionally Narelle was quick to respond to any queries I had. I would definitely recommend Narelle’s place. I wish I could’ve stayed longer.

Great location. Being on the 3rd floor gave great views but with no lift made access a bit harder. Accommodation is pretty good, very good for the price. It is a bit tired and could do with a freshen up. Had a great week there - very suitable for a young family.

We loved our stay at this property. Everything was well maintained and it was a restful environment. We enjoyed our time very much. Super handy to have the little grocery and take away shop downstairs. The bus stop was a bit noisy at night but not terrible. We were a bit confused about access initially, needed to ring and clarify. The flat itself had all the things you need and was very comfortable.

Very comfortable apartment in an excellent location. 5 adults in our group and it did not feel crowded.

Had a lovely week at the Love Nest. The apartment was so well appointed and stylish, comfortable and the location is hard to beat - you can hear the waves, the beach is so close. Kristin was so welcoming and warm and we would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

Great location - so close to the beach. You can tell Lara has put a lot of thought into the airbnb. There is great finishing, the pool is lovely, aircon, nice appliances and lots of light. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment! The views of Fingal Bay were absolutely spectacular, and the short walk to the beach made it even better. We loved having the little grocery store and cafés just downstairs—so convenient. The underground parking and elevator access straight to the second-floor apartment were a huge plus. The large covered balcony was perfect for relaxing, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. We also appreciated how peaceful the area was while still being close to amenities. The only minor issue was sometimes the buses will idle at the bus stop near the apartment and if you have your doors open it can be a bit loud. But it’s only a couple of times per day we noticed it. Definitely recommend the apartment.

Very clean and neat little place in a great location. Quiet, clean, walk to beach, cafes, supermarket, ... We didn't have the greatest weather on our weekend, but that's the luck of the draw and we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

What a wonderful stay ! The location is amazing : fabulous crystal blue beach, paddle renting office, pharmacy, cafes & restaurants - 5 minutes walk Stunning sunset, sunrise & hike - 15 minutes walk The flat is comfortable with a nice living room and dining table, kitchen is well equipped, rooms are comfy. Bathroom has a shower and a bath, toilets are separated and there is even a washing machine. Perfect for a long weekend or weeks ! I definitely recommend and would come back. We loved Port Stephens, and had a lovely dynamic weekend ! Many activities nearby and amazing beaches and viewpoints.

We had a wonderful time , it was very peaceful and relaxing. The position of the place was incredible, the ocean at our doorstep and our own private rock jetty with lots of fish to catch and we even were greeted at the jetty by a turtle. This gate at the top was a little tight, especially for a 4x4 we just squeezed through, perhaps making the gate a little wider would be easier for some. This is a place I will most definitely return too. Thank you Prue who was a great host.

We had a wonderful stay at Whale Tail at Nelson Bay. Our party consisted of myself and my husband, our two kids (5&7) and my father and we each had our own space in this beautiful house. It was a home away from home with everything thought of. There were blankets and lots of soft furnishings to make it super comfortable, there were all the kitchen appliances you could possibly need, cleaning products, an abundance of towels and even alternative pillows, toiletries, a selection of games to keen everyone happy, even a hair straightener! The list goes on… I’ve never stayed in such a well equipped AirBnB and we were all impressed. The local recommendations were great and the location was good too - it was roughly a 15 minute walk with kids to the marina along the water but an easy 1 minute drive as an alternative. Thank you Insa and Isabel, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Whale Tail to anyone!

We had a lovely stay at Vivian's place. The surrounding were quiet and comfortable, with the beach very calm and the feeling of being surrounded by bush. The house was very accomodating and thought has clearly gone in to making it a comfortable stay. All the beds were great. Only one thing to mention: the AC unit doesn't really reach the bedrooms, so, during a period of hot weather, we had to be proactive about making sure they stayed cool enough. But we all slept fine. Overall, recommended.
