Beachfront holiday rental in Fingal Bay

Clare was very friendly, helpful & always quickly responded to my messages. Great location : we ( inc dogs ) loved the morning & evening beach walk. When visiting Nelson Bay we will stay again at Clair’s ☺️

Second time staying, this time with a baby and we had a wonderful stay. Feels just like home, didn’t want to go home! Two days was too short for us, next time we will be booking for longer!

Incredible location, great air BnB. We were able to walk down to the beach, were overwhelmed by the walkable breakfast options and discovered a new go-to for beers and good food (Falcon). We loved making this little air BnB our home for the weekend. Thanks for having us Warwick and Newy!

The location and facilities from having a lift so handling luggage was no issue. Double glazing made it quite at night. Although note too much street noise. Air conditioning was good. Kitchen facilities well supplied with all needed utensils wise. Beds comfortable and good storage wardrobe wise. Bathroom good decent shower plenty hot water. And location for shopping eating, coffee shops was exceptional. Most impressed with everything we had

The Loft was perfection. Great location, close walk to dog beach, short drive to cafes, woolies, restaurants. The Loft was clean, very nicely decorated, and had super comfy beds. Zoe was very accommodating🙂 and responded quickly. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Elizabeth’s place is a rare find. One minute walk to Dixon Park beach, very close to the Beaches Hotel, Merewether Surf House, and a short walk to the Junction precinct with a pub , cafes, restaurants and shops for everything you need. The apartment is fully equipped and very quiet and private. Elizabeth is a great host - friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. My second stay here and would come back anytime.

I absolutely loved my stay. As a female travelling alone on this trip I felt completely secure. Found parking outside every night so could spot car out the window which was also comforting (just remember to move before 9am or start paying parking. This was super easy on parking app). Wonderful to head out early and walk the foreshore. Again - I always felt safe. The flat itself was peaceful with everything I needed. Quality linen and one of the comfiest couches ever. I will definitely choose again for my Newcastle visits. Thank you.

The house was very spacious and easily shared with 8 adults and 1 toddler. Beautiful location and a short drive to major centres like Nelson Bay. Highly recommend to large families or just wanting to escape for some R&R with friends. The area is very hilly so the walks in and around the location is not ideal for those with physical difficulties. Otherwise a gorgeous spot to holiday. The view is amazing.

We had a great stay at this lovely flat. Everything matched the description, comfy beds, nice and clean, good location to get around Port Stephens. Would happily stay again.

Great location. Being on the 3rd floor gave great views but with no lift made access a bit harder. Accommodation is pretty good, very good for the price. It is a bit tired and could do with a freshen up. Had a great week there - very suitable for a young family.

Very comfortable apartment in an excellent location. 5 adults in our group and it did not feel crowded.

Great location - so close to the beach. You can tell Lara has put a lot of thought into the airbnb. There is great finishing, the pool is lovely, aircon, nice appliances and lots of light. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment! The views of Fingal Bay were absolutely spectacular, and the short walk to the beach made it even better. We loved having the little grocery store and cafés just downstairs—so convenient. The underground parking and elevator access straight to the second-floor apartment were a huge plus. The large covered balcony was perfect for relaxing, and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. We also appreciated how peaceful the area was while still being close to amenities. The only minor issue was sometimes the buses will idle at the bus stop near the apartment and if you have your doors open it can be a bit loud. But it’s only a couple of times per day we noticed it. Definitely recommend the apartment.

Fantastic location right on the beach with easy access to restaurants. All facilities expected in terms the apartment were great. Very much enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location in a beautiful location, really cosy place and perfect for a weekend getaway!

The place is great, so peaceful just in front of the sea. Amenities are little far away so before going there take everything with you. The water is yellow( dam water) so dont forget to carry your own water. The cottage was nice and cozy. They have all the amenities in kitchen even if you want to cook. Have got some games like chess to pass the time. Overall recommended place for a night,, i have always lived in a city so wasnt habitual of that much quietness, so will prefer a night. We enjoyed our stay at Castaway, it’s a cosy quite coastal home. The hosts have done an amazing job at styling the place and making it comfortable we appreciated that basic necessities were available (oil,salt pepper cooking utensils, hair straightener, travel cot etc). The location is fantastic as you are a short walk to Bagnall’s beach and then a beautiful walk along the bike track to Dutchman’s beach. It was a fantastic way to start our family summer holiday together.

Both Laura and Insa were great to deal with. Usually replied within 5-10 minutes. The place was amazing, we felt so settled in straight away, was like a home away from home. Will definitely be staying here for our next trip to shoal bay. Great location and all the amenities.

We had a wonderful time , it was very peaceful and relaxing. The position of the place was incredible, the ocean at our doorstep and our own private rock jetty with lots of fish to catch and we even were greeted at the jetty by a turtle. This gate at the top was a little tight, especially for a 4x4 we just squeezed through, perhaps making the gate a little wider would be easier for some. This is a place I will most definitely return too. Thank you Prue who was a great host.
