Cottage holiday rentals in Fair Haven

Diane and Mark are fantastic hosts. This was our second time staying at the cottage and it was just as lovely as the first! We were so excited to return for another short overnight stay as a brief reprieve from urban life. Highly recommend visiting in the winter months to experience the full extent of the cottage’s cozy, relaxed charm. The hot tub and the wood burning fire were our favorite amenities. Be mindful that the beautiful front bedroom on the first floor is on its own thermostat and will need to be turned on to get heat in there, especially if you close the door. I hope to return again in with friends and family in the near future when in need of a peaceful retreat!

Location, location, location! Right on the water, hot tub was great, comfortable place and it was just perfect for us. We loved the local wineries and other activities and it was so nice to come back to that beautiful lake view at the end of the day. Thanks so much Nick and Chrissy! We would love to come back one day.

The house was in a nice area and was very clean. Host was very helpful and quick with his responses. Would recommend to anyone thinking of staying here!

Beautiful home and location. Laura was excellent to deal with and always responsive. First Airbnb I have ever stayed at and it was easy. Great location for shopping, dining and wineries.

This house is beautiful, and the layout is PERFECT for a group to spend an evening, or even an entire snowed-in day! I was so relieved to find that the hot tub was fully-functional--every jet, every button. That's less common than you might think in rentals. Such a great location, too. Far enough outside of town for beauty and privacy; near enough for quick runs into town. Not a single issue with anything the entire weekend, and it was just so comfortable to gather upstairs or downstairs. We'll all be looking forward to a repeat weekend.

Perfect location on the lake. Beautiful cabin with plenty of space for all four of us adults. I would 100% recommend this location especially in the summer when you can use the kayaks (it was a little cold this time of year for us). Host was quick to respond and super helpful! Thank you!!!

Spent Thanksgiving at the lake with family. We had a great time gathering, cooking, and hanging out. Even though it was cold outside, the view was amazing and we had a fantastic time.

Beautiful property, WiFi was strong enough for remote work, bed was incredibly comfy!

This rental was super cute and comfortable right on the water. We had a girls weekend and had everything we needed at Courtney's place. The cottage overlooks the water and it is a beautifully clear lake. Beds were very comfortable and everything was neat and clean. There are a few set of stairs to get down to the cottage along with stairs to access the downstairs living quarters/bedroom so just be aware of that. We saw Eagles over the water and heard owls at night...very peaceful and private. Tons to do in the town of Skaneateles as well and lots of great restaurants. We would certainly recommend this rental to anyone and are looking forward to coming back!

We had a great time here! The house is clean, cozy, and has everything you need! The area is absolutely beautiful and we saw some great sunsets every night.

We were fortunate to stay at Kimberly's place on Otisco. Their home was small and cozy, exactly what we needed for a simple ice fishing weekend. We could easily walk out onto the ice and had a super clean, warm home to come back to. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to do a little fishing in the winter. Kimberly was also super responsive and friendly when texting-- you can tell she puts a lot of effort into this whole deal. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

great place. my kids loved the house and especially the games and whatnot that are part of the rv park (right behind the house and included) The hosts were great and responsive. They went out of their way to make our stay fun.

We love staying at this cabin! It is clean, has the necessary amenities to include a washer and dryer. We always use the coffee maker and feel right at home in the morning in front of the electric fire place. This is our second time booking and we recommend this location.

Everything is the same or better than it looks in the pictures. I really liked the place and Vicki's attentions. Everything is clean, comfortable and very nice views. Thank you for making this Thanksgiving weekend an unforgettable experience for our family. I am delighted with the house. Very nice to spend it as a couple or with 4 friends. We had a wonderful stay hanging out near the rivers edge. We were provided with ample firewood and smores as a welcome gift :) very thoughtful. We look forward to coming back during summer to do some kayaking

I'll be back and look forward to staying again in the future. I absolutely adored the cottage and it's location. The water, shoreline, view, relaxing ambience and it was a peaceful retreat. I enjoyed having Thanksgiving with my children in the cottage as well as a child free weekend all in the same week. I loved it so much that I'm looking to relocate in the area and it's now become my primary spot to search. Liz was a perfect hostess, helpful and easy to talk to.

“Ventura Lake House “ is nothing short of magical. The cottage is so comfortable and eclectic, furniture with fascinating pieces of art made by the hosts. The living room and bedrooms were extremely comfortable as was every space on the property, inside and outdoors. The kitchen was perfectly outfitted with anything a person might need. Christine even left a special birthday treat for our son and croissants as well as many staples in the fridge. Our favorite part was sitting on an Adirondack chair just watching and listening to Lake Ontario. We will definitely be back again and again. So grateful that Christine and Paul offer this beautiful place — and their many creative talents — for others to enjoy! Thank you!

The place was very good had a lot of space the place was nice and clean loved the bed rooms nice and comfy beds and blankets and the location of the Cabin was amazing private area nice a silent no noise I recommend Renting the cabin out for a few days Over all The place was amazing and worth the Money
