Family-friendly holiday rentals in Exmouth

Honestly this is a hidden gem and is definitely hijabi friendly... We had our own private space, including hot tub and outdoor heated swimming pool. Keith sourced produce so that it was accessible, he helped us in getting appropriate taxi services.

My husband, son and I had a lovely stay in Holl's property. Holls was extremely welcoming and communicative from tbe outset, with lots of great recommendations of activities and places to see. The property was perfectly located for us, within easy walking distance of Dartmoor National Park, where we enjoyed some great walks and rock scrambling around a picturesque quarry (Foggingtor). There are also two nice pubs in the village within a 5 minute walk, both of which we ate at during the stay and had some lovely food with generous portions. The hot tub was wonderful for unwinding in (and warming up) after our adventures on the Moors! The property is also in easy drive of a number of Tors, which our son especially loved climbing, and is also within easy driving distance for the many amenities in Plymouth and Tavistock. We enjoyed visiting The Box Museum in Plymoth which was free and had a great media exhibition. We would recommend Holls, she is a great host. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Julie's treehouse. The hottub and cosy fire place was a highlight of our girls trip. The beds were so comfortable and the heated blankets were a lovely touch in the cold weather. The only thing we would note for future guests would be the tree house is canvas material and very very cold. It took us a few hours to get warm through the fire place. There is also no cooker inside however a practical BBQ oven outside. There is an electric hob inside though. We would definitely recommend this stay, thank you Julie, we had a great holiday!

Wow, what an amazing place. Cath was a great host, meeting us at the property, even baking is a cake, showing us round and recommending pubs and running routes in the area. Loved the hot tub and wood fire. Bedrooms were great sizes. It had everything we wanted and even more, we didn't even get chance to play pool or table football. Great walks in the area, with lovely pubs. To be honest we didn't want to actually leave the house, as it was such a great, sociable space. Definitely looking to book again next year! The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

We had a fantastic Christmas holiday with family here. Loved the beautiful views from the living room. All nicely laid out with stair gate, high chair and cot all as requested. Delighted by the lit and decorated Christmas tree and welcome surprise of a cream tea on arrival.

Great place to stay. as said above what 3 words for some of the directions could help when travelling in the dark. what a place when we found it though. hosts had the wood burner toastie for our arrival. would deffo stay again

Beautiful high standard accommodation in very peaceful surroundings. Gorgeous Christmas tree and a bottle of Prosecco left for us. Would highly recommend. Great hot tub and log burner. All round gorgeous place and would definitely return.

Lovdly place for a post Christmas break. The Barn had everything we needed and was warm and cosy. Great location for visiting this area of Devon.

Fish Cottage was hands down the best Airbnb we have stayed in. Beautifully furnished with interesting artwork, antique furniture and quirky pieces, this place was peaceful, comfortable and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Comfy bed, lovely log burner and excellent recommendations in the welcome guide of where to eat. Would 100% come again and recommend as a country get away. With thanks!

Had a great Christmas in Madlyn’s place. Perfect location in the centre of Lyme with a sea view. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Everything you could need in the good size kitchen even for Christmas lunch. Madlyn even left a Xmas tree for us. Would definitely love to stay there again. Highly recommend. A lovely little holiday home that has a fantastic location to a variety of local amenities and attractions. With Lyme Regis and Charmouth only 15/20 minutes away it was positioned perfectly to get to the different beaches. The Annexe was as described and has been cleverly designed to maximise sleeping arrangements whilst offering both a bath and shower! Parking was situated just outside the Annexe and close to the working farm where the geese would often be seen. We were able to take advantage of the farms produce and enjoyed a BBQ on the terrace one evening!

We had a fantastic week, the house was perfect for our family, the rooms were huge and the location and views were stunning. There's so many lovely places to visit within a short drive. I couldn't recommend the house and hosts highly enough.

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

A fantastic place to stay, especially for long stays, very well equipped, really spotless with lovely modern furnishings. We had a wonderful welcome pack of provisions, cakes and the most beautiful flowers. Added bonus of a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Really comfortable large beds. Able to watch Netflix, Disney Channels etc on the installed Now TV box. Felt very safe with the gated entrance. Centrally located and great to be able to walk to the town centre, tennis courts, sports centre and lovely park. Waitrose and Asda also nearby. Andrea was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the pictures do not do this place justice, as it is much bigger than the pictures show. The annex was very clean and spotless. Ian & Katka (Hosts) were very proactive, friendly and welcoming and went the extra mile. The swimspa and hot tub are an absolute amazing feature of the property along with the balcony and views. We would highly recommend and would love to visit again.

Hubby & I had a really relaxing long weekend. The apartment was so lovely & warm & cosy and I loved reading my books sitting on the window seat, looking out over the causeway. The apartment was extremely clean and it had everything that you could possibly need & it really felt like "home from home". This is a place to "switch off" from the world in peaceful surroundings. We didn't get to use the pool or the gym this time but they were extremely inviting. The whole complex is quiet & peaceful and with direct private access to the beach & café it's a "real little gem". The outlook across the causeway is incredible and I was completely spell bound by watching the waves and currents swish and swirl around. Even though our weekend was at the time of server gales & rain & even sleet, we were toasty, warm and comfortable. The café was really great to eat in as well. Our host was always available via messaging if we needed anything & the tv reception and Wifi was great. 100% we will return!

We stayed over the Christmas week. It’s always a worry as to whether there will be sharp knives, enough trays while cooking Christmas dinner etc but I need not have worried as there was everything we could possibly have wanted. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and all items were clean, good quality and plentiful. The whole property was very comfortable, warm and spacious. Outside areas were accessed by the grandchildren, they enjoyed a daily swim. The system for booking is excellent. We managed to have a brief game on the tennis court and the children had a little time in the play hut and on the equipment. The zip line was a real hit. It would be lovely to be able to return when the weather would allow more use of the great outdoor facilities. Laura and Richard are great hosts. Brilliant communication prior to arriving. A great in person welcome too on arrival. We hope to return and can highly recommend Mullen at Pitt farm

We spent 4 nights at the Priesthole, it is an excellent base for walking part of the SWCP. Iona is an excellent host and made us feel very welcome, showing us around the gardens, recommending local pubs and giving tips on safe swimming at Torcross. The place is well equipped and comfortable and extremely quiet at night. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect hosts and accommodation. This was my first stay at an air bnb and it was wonderful. Kate couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating and assisted me with additional things such as taxi numbers. The accommodation is simply stunning and the layout of the home means that even if a large group of you stay you still have your own space. The pool is welcome addition as are the hands outside, even the harder to please teenagers had a great time. We’re now home and looking at other dates we can return to the cottage. Having to work nights locally to this property we needed a warm comfortable and quiet place to stay and this was all these things . My van was safe and no noise heard through the stay . Jonathan met us on arrival and made us feel right at home straight away . The cottage was as described on the ad , warms and clean which is always a worry along with vehicle safety . Great stay and will use again without hesitation.
