A beautiful place to stay, comfortable, Cheryl was a responsive host, leant us beach/ camp chairs for our visit. The photos don't do the house or surroundings justice, it's a wonderful place to stay. Great neighbourhood, the view of the bay changes all the time , with the tide and the weather, my favourite time of day was at the top of the tide when there was no wind and the bay was like a mirror. Lots to explore , beaches, waterfalls, swimming holes, thermal pools, mountains, gorges. We want to return in 2026, still so many places to explore.

What a beautiful place. Surrounded by nature & beautiful scenery. 5min from the Karangahake car park. The accommodation was exactly like the photos. Very cosy cabin. All the amenities you could need. We loved our stay & would definitly go back.

Perfect setting for a relaxing evening on the deck with beautiful views. So peaceful just south of Auckland is exactly what we needed after our 1st day of driving! Off to a great start with accommodations on our 2 week adventure! Thank you Jan and John!

Kaimai Range Country Getaway is like landing in paradise! The views are stunning, and Joanne and Warwick are the perfect hosts, providing delicious treats and many other things we did not expect in an AirB&B. The lodge is extremely comfortable and well equipped and we heartily recommend it for a peaceful and relaxing retreat.

Great value for money very private and pieceful and the outdoor bath was amazing. David came to meet us and went over and above to make our stay amazing. Would highly recommend this place for a relaxing weekend away with your loved one.
