Jayathissa's place was big and spacious ands we felt comfortable and at home. The facilities were great and the air-conditioning and fans were especially welcome. It is a short tuktuk ride to the town and restaurants and you can also walk asking the canal and even swim there. Jayathissa was very friendly and helpful and even shared his breakfast with us. His coconut crafts are also very beautiful and we bought some as souvenirs.

We had a fabulous stay! The view over Sigiriya Rock is spectacular and we loved being able to cool off in the pool. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Our host was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely recommend this place!

Lovely reception from mum and sons, coconut drink on arrival. The family were friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Bedroom comfortable and lovely outdoor communal sitting area Luckily they served a delicious breakfast and the Sri Lankan food in the evening was also delicious there were no other outside eating options. Polonnaruwa town not much to see, also New Town mainly government buildings Easy to get to Ancient city by tuk tuk. Great value for money and lovely family to look after you. Would recommend if you're visiting Ancient city.

Went here to record a podcast about birdwatching. The episode is now 16 hours long. Also, there was a chameleon. It shape shifted in front of our eyes, and whilst beholding that magic, we turned our day to day stress into the wonder of our surroundings and the serenity this place beholds. Personnel was amazing. The best we’ve ever experienced. We felt sad to leave. The owners, a very nice couple, were so helpful, no high end star hotel can match that.

Beautiful cabin lodge, incredible views and amazing views of lion rock from viewpoint o the property. Staff were very sweet and friendly very hospitable helping carry bags to room etc. breakfast was quite basic but recommend the fruit selection. Bathroom also quite basic but made up for by beautiful views

Our stay was extremely comfortable. The place is really one of a kind, piece of art. It is very clean, bed is comfortable and sheets are spotless. Room has AC, musquito net and unique outdoor bathrom. We ate breakfast and dinner there and the food was very tasteful, one of the best food we ate in Sri Lanka. Banda is a great host, he helped us arrange our activities in Sigirya and gave us helpful advices. We are very happy that we met Banda and his family, they all have the best heart and made our trip to Sigiriya better. We would definitely recommend this stay as it is worth every rupee and more! :)

My husband and I stayed at Jenneifer’s Airbnb for a second time, this time for four nights. We would highly recommend to stay here! It is peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view off of the deck. The highlight for us was the food! We had something different everyday for breakfast that was all delicious. We were also able to request dinner at a small additional fee, which was so convenient after a long day of travel. Jenneifer and her family were incredibly responsive and kind. They had such an amazing attention to detail and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They helped to arrange a tuk tuk for us get around. We hope to stay again!

I've traveled to many countries, but this wonderful house, located in this wonderful landscape, was by far the most beautiful place I've ever been able to stay! Sajiith and his wife are so warm, accommodating and radiant hosts that there is no question for us to come back😊. Be sure to join the cooking demonstration. It was indescribably beautiful to see how traditional cooking is done and above all it was super delicious!! Thank you very much for this unforgettable holiday! 🥰

We enjoyed our 3 nights stay at Peter’s cabin. It gave us a wilderness feel without really being in the wild. The cabin is in the village very near the tourist town centre. The space is as the photos. The cabin was clean. The bed was comfortable enough for us. It can get warm in the day but the ceiling fan on full blast helps. Lion’s rock can be seen clearly from the cabin. Although Peter was not there, he was a great host who was friendly, responsive and made every effort to ensure we had a nice stay.
