Arenal Luxury Hideaway was an absolute dream! The location was perfect—just a short walk to town where we enjoyed amazing local food and shopping. The backyard was stunning, with a beautiful pool and a covered awning that made it easy to enjoy the outdoor space no matter the weather. Even during the pouring rain, we sat on the porch and soaked in the incredible views and peaceful atmosphere. This place truly combines convenience and tranquility, it always felt safe. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 1 night, for what you pay, I don’t think it’s possible to find a better view or better airbnb. If the price is in your range I’d suggest stop searching for other airbnbs, this is the one. 10/10

Great place in an amazing location. We were able to walk to all restaurants and stores. We had a car so did not need pick up for tours but you could easily walk to where we saw most tours pick up. Marvin was great. Met us in the rain upon arrival to give us our keys. Super responsive

We loved our stay! The property is beautiful and private, a serene hideaway in the rainforest while being close to La Fortuna attractions. We arrived later than expected and had to find the house at night, which was tricky. A helpful tip if you’re in the same situation: look for the driveway immediately after the bus stop on the left. The house was spotless, easily the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. It was well-stocked with everything we could need, including a Christmas tree! While the lack of rugs or wall coverings made it a bit echoey and sparse, it stayed wonderfully cool. The outdoor area was a highlight, with a fantastic space and a large table for dining al fresco. The pool was excellent and watching the wildlife was a treat, we even saw the sloth! One thing to note is the few friendly dogs who hung out around the property and marked the porch. While they weren’t aggressive, it’s worth mentioning for future guests. Overall, this was a fantastic place!

This Airbnb was fantastic. In fact, we wish we cancelled one of our planned excursions to just spend time at the property. The property is lots of fun and the pool is great. We didn't stay long enough to use the open-air kitchen, but it was really cool. The room you sleep in is a quite small and a bit musty, but it was fine. Norwin was very helpful with us - we needed somewhere to store our luggage after checking out of our last location and before checking into his place. He helped us very proactively and coordinated is leaving our luggage with the cleaner, who then brought it to the property for us. It was fantastic.

Even though we only stayed one night would highly recommend this beautiful and comfortable air bnb! It was very spacious and reminded us of home :) the beds were extremely comfortable and we loved the view of the volcano in the morning! Very responsive and kind hosts. Would stay again if we had more time!

Very nice place a little away from the city center, but it's very good to walk. The place had all the amenities we needed and everything was very clean. We loved the covered hot tub. We really appreciated the recommendations for the excursions and had a lot of fun. Yes there are dogs barking for a good part of the night, but unfortunately this is not the host's responsibility. Knowing it, bring traffic jams to sleep better. We would recommend this listing. Thanks for your hospitality.

We had a short but wonderful stay at Andrea and Juanita’s. You can tell a lot of love went into this project. Excellent communication. a bit of a drive to La fortuna town, but it’s what we preferred. The cows next door were adorable. Kitchen is well equipped. Thank you Andrea and Juanita for the great stay, only regret is not staying longer

Honestly the best bnb I have ever stayed at. Great pool, super clean, close to town, surrounded by nature. We saw Tucans flying over us as we swam in the pool, and parrots in the tree nezt to us. Host was really friendly and accommodating. The place is much bigger than I expected with plenty of room for the family and even a puppy. I would be happy to live here!

A clean, modern place with many amenities. Located in a family neighbourhood, with many friendly people. Walking distance to downtown La Fortuna, about 1.5 kms. We felt very safe in this neighbourhood. Within 300-400 m, excellent restaurants, laundry service, coffee, and shopping markets. The plunge pool was excellent to have. Great view of Arsenal! John and Yan were quick to respond with answer to questions, provide recommendations, and assist when needed. We would definitely stay here again while visiting La Fortuna!

Amazing stay on site. The surroundings, the house, the private pool, all excellent! You arrive and an attention from the host is waiting for you, details that make it worth to stay there. I would return without hesitation and more days to take advantage of the place

What a beautiful place to stay. I'm in another AirB&B and already missing my time at Monstera House. I was greeted and treated with such warmth and hospitality, served a delicious breakfast every morning, and my stay felt private and secluded, yet almost part of a family. The home was spotless, and the bed very comfortable. TV and internet worked flawlessly. And while downtown LA Fortuna proper was about 15 minutes away, I enjoyed walking to mini markets for snacks and drinks, as it is a nice and authentic part of Costa Rica. In all, truly enjoyed my first few nights in Costa Rica, and very, VERY glad I chose Monstera House for them. miss it already. Oh, and when I forgot my passport (thankfully only thirty minutes into my journey to my next destination, Sandra was quick to both call and message me to let me know). Can't say enough good things about my stay or the warmth and hospitality I was provided.

We stayed in one of three similar units in a fabricated, very modern European style condo unit. Cristian designed it , had it built and lives there. It was very clean and functional, but not very cozy. However, it worked well for our one overnight Stay in La Fortuna. Cristian was friendly and helpful and speaks several languages so it was easy to communicate. I wouldn’t recommend for a long stay but for a few days it’s fine. Good coffee supplied.

A beautiful, safe, spacious and cozy cabin on the outskirts of Fortuna (10 min by car) The environment is spectacular, many birds of all kinds, vegetation, peace... The quality - price ratio is excellent! I'll be back!

House was well stocked, pool/beach towels, kitchen had lots of tools. Beautiful setting! Snugg family bedroom with bunk and two twin beds, great outdoor eating area. Jose was very communicative and helpful. Great Tico Soda right just past the driveway. Highly recommend it, especially the rice dish and tico meal. The main road being close to the house is noisy with the big trucks going by at night. Otherwise loved the place.

Everything was great! The place is a bit of a ways from the town (5 min drive) but it felt super private and cozy for a big group. Highly recommend it

The stay with Gustavo was excellent, from the booking process, check-in, check-out, we had no problems. The house is spacious, just as seen in the photos and everything was spotless.

Sleeping in a treehouse with the possibility of monkey visits was our kids dream... and this stay made their dream come true. The house is located in a beautiful and peaceful location, but it's not too far from the center of town either. The house was clean and the bathroom was beautiful. I subtracted 1 star because the listing had mistakenly indicated that there were more beds than there actually were, so this was a surprise when we arrived with our kids, but we made Laura aware, and hopefully it is being updated. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Monteverde. It is so much more peaceful than staying in town, and the visit from coatis and capuchin monkeys in the morning was a highlight! We loved the comfortable hammocks as well.
