Holiday rentals with breakfast in Edinburgh

Highly recommended. Barbara was a gracious and knowledgeable host. The flat was well equipped, well positioned if you prefer access to the city without being in it and very comfortable and well presented. We would return - which says it all.

We are grateful to Scott for so many reasons - welcoming us to his Leith flat in person, showing us all the flat's amenities, giving us local recommendations, and dropping off an overlooked pair of glasses at our hotel in Edinburgh the next day. We had a very easy time getting there by taking the tram from the airport, we had a very comfortable stay, and we appreciated very much glancing through some Edinburgh books and having some fruit, granola, yogurt, milk, and tea for breakfast. I recommend Scott's place as highly as possible as the ideal experience we hope for when we rent an Airbnb host's place.

We were so fortunate to have found Karen’s place! She was an absolute delight to communicate with, before and during our stay! Even when our plans had unexpectedly changed, she was so easy to talk to about our delay. Always warm and welcoming! Her place offered our family of 3 a quiet retreat from the city after long days of sightseeing, yet still close enough by bus, and navigating was a breeze. This is such a wonderful, clean place to stay. Just far enough out of the city to get some quiet, but close enough with a short walk to the bus stop and a quick 20min bus ride, or 15min Uber. The view from their street looking on to Arthur's Seat is stunning (especially if you get some sunshine). They had a lovely breakfast table set for guests. They had a basket of travel guides and some print outs that were very useful! Very kind, responsive, welcoming hosts. Their home was beautiful. We would 100% stay here again if we ever came back to Edinburgh.

Shiela, is a very friendly person and she gave me lots of advice about Edinburgh. I had travelled for 24 hrs and she readily accommodated my early check in. In terms of the place, it’s very peaceful and beautiful. While the city center is not too far, only 3 buses operate from there. So have to keep a watch on the schedule. I’d definitely recommend her place to my friends. But I’ll be honest, it’s a bit pricey. Maybe Edinburgh is expensive but Airbnb in England was cheaper.

We stayed at 63 Moubray Grove, South Queensferry for a Buissines trip and found the property well presented clean and tidy with all the modern amenities you could wish for in a quiet residential area. The property is easy to get to with local shops very close by also Dalmeny train station within an easy walk away. Nicky was extremely helpful and quick, easy communication.

Staying at Davids Place is one of the best travel experience I have ever had. The host was so hospitable and thoughtful. This was my very first experience with AirBnB and I feel great. The day I arrived it was my wife's birthday I asked for a cake and he added champagne and celebrations for my little one. Besides that he had everything you need like what to do and see around the area.

This place is CLEAN!! I don't think I've stayed in a cleaner AirBnB in my life! very well situated (I needed to be near the hospital), and quiet. Lovely little balcony, fantastic bathtub, spacious kitchen, and I love how deep the sofa is. Check in and out were very easy, and Javier gave loads of helpful tips. The info pack they had on the table was great. Really enjoyed my stay, great value for money :)

This was the perfect location, close to restaurants, popular sights, and more! Could not have asked to be in a better location when exploring the city. Dave was incredibly helpful and responsive when asked questions.

We had a wonderful stay at Porteous studio. The apartment is beautifully designed and finished to the highest standard, with lots of thoughtful touches. The location is fantastic, in the heart of Old Town and walking distance from the Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle. Highly recommend!

Our stay was very enjoyable, Johanna is a great host who provided clear instructions on getting into the flat and having the use of underground parking was very handy. The flat was very clean and tidy and close enough to walk to the old town or if required to get a bus or tram. Johanna also very kindly left us some cereal, milk and coffee for our arrival and all necessary utensils were available in the kitchen.

Zone quiet and recidential but within walking distance to tram to city centre and airport. Several busses to everywhere

Steven and Gillian's property is lovely. It's small and cozy. It had everything we needed and more. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows lovely. Gillian and Steven are a lovely couple and very friendly and helpful. They left provisions for breakfast which was a really nice touch and very appreciated. There's a nice little conservatory and seating area out the back. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to people.

Thoroughly enjoyed my two-week stay. Jennet was the consummate host: Friendly and attentive, with breakfast in the morning. Beautiful flat within easy walking distance of downtown Edinburgh. We loved Sinan's place, it was in a perfect location and the house really felt home. It was a beautiful home and we had a comfortable stay. I will definitely choose this on my next stay and it's highly recommended!

Katrina is a wonderful landlord who prepared plenty of drinks and bread for us, making it feel very homey! It's just a half-hour bus ride from the city center, and there's a supermarket right across the street, making the location very convenient. Thank you, Katrina! If I have the chance to visit Edinburgh again, I would definitely consider staying here!

This is such a great place to stay, from the airport you can take the bus 100, and get down at Haymarket, from there you can walk or take another bus, Tom's place is really close to the bus stops that take you to the center and the buses go very often. The room was amazing, clean, big and comfortable, as well as the private bathroom. Tom was flexible with our check in and the communication was always great!

This location was incredibly convenient for public transport, with a bus stop right outside the entrance. There were plenty of local supermarkets nearby and the surroundings were lovely. The host( Catherine) was exceptionally kind and always ready to help. The room was spotless and well-equipped—even an EU-UK adapter was provided. Breakfast was great as well. I highly recommend this wonderful Airbnb to everyone ^_^

Sam's place is a hidden gem in Edinburgh's Old Town. I'm really glad I've found it. Everything is exactly like in the photos and description. Sam left clear instructions for check-in and check-out, which helped a lot, and was very kind to give me amazing suggestions of places to eat. I went to an academic event in The University of Edinburgh and Sam kindly provided a desk in my bedroom, so I could work from there as well. The flat was very clean, cozy and the decoration is incredibly beautiful. If you like Harry Potter's universe, there are references to it everywhere and I loved it. I would certainly go back!

Great place when you want to visit Edinburgh which is a 15-minute drive away. The room was clean, en-suite bathroom small but functional. Good quality bed. And great breakfast. I recommend the place!
