Holiday rentals with a fireplace in East Sikkim

I stayed at this homestay for three nights, and it was a delightful experience. The view from the balcony is simply breathtaking, and the hospitality of the people here is heartwarming. The food is a standout feature—organic and delicious. However, I did encounter a few minor issues. The common bathroom can be a bit inconvenient, and the charger jack is located quite low on the wall. It would be much more convenient if it were placed beside the bed for easier access. Additionally, there are extra charges for using the kitchen, which I believe should be clearly mentioned in the instructions provided to guests. Despite these small issues, everything else was great. I would highly recommend this homestay for its beautiful views, warm hospitality, and excellent food.

We had a fantastic experience at this place. Special shout out to the caretaker Rajesh who was very responsive and took fantastic care to ensure our stay was peaceful and stress-free. The property was clean and well maintained. It's just perfect for families with or without kids.

Prashant's place is a gem of a place in Gangtok. With great views over the city of Gangtok from the living room to bedrooms, it gave a very beautiful vibe! Communication was proactive and extremely easy via the messaging group created. Bang on the main shopping road of Gangtok, in stone's throw of all the best restaurants in town. Ideal for a large family vacation, book without hesitation.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Kalimpong. From the moment we checked in to the time we checked out, everything was seamless and beyond expectations. The host made us feel right at home, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Ashis, the master chef, whose culinary skills truly elevated our experience. Traveling with our 2-year-old, we were touched by how thoughtful and attentive the team was — always a step ahead in ensuring our little one’s needs were met, especially when it came to his food and maintaining the impeccable cleanliness of the property. The house itself is stunning, with breathtaking panoramic mountain views that create a perfect setting for relaxation and peace. It’s a place where you can truly unwind and feel connected to nature while still enjoying all the comforts of home. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the beauty of Kalimpong with top-notch hospitality.

We loved the place and it was exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a relaxed getaway with a local rural touch with all the comforts as well. We requested our host Bijoya for on site help and he gladly sent us Santosh who lived in the villa downstairs and was on hand 24/7. He also provided us a lady ( Buddhamit Tamang) who came in at 9 and left around 6 and who helped Santosh with all the household chores/ cooking etc since we wanted home cooked food. We paid them separately for it in addition to the fixed charge. We were glad to do it and it was well worth it. They took absolute and complete care of all our needs and requirements and were like family. I would strongly recommend you ask for their services if you are living in the villa. They organised the outdoor bonfires and in house fireplace and it was indeed a good experience. They also gave us recommendations of what to do locally which was greatly appreciated. I would strongly recommend you have them when u stay.

Outstanding hospitality. The place is Sparkling clean with an extremely efficient cleaning service on the house . The views from the balconies are astonishingly beautiful. The place is huge can accommodate a big group . Nindiya even arranged a cook for home cooked meals for my diabetic parents who makes the best Paneer Bhurji. The kind gesture of breakfast with a personal note was heart warming. We have so much to learn from the hospitality of Sikkim is all I can say . Highly professional yet with a personal touch . Nindiya even arranged for Airport pick up and local sightseeing. The drivers are extremely polite . I am touched with the behavior and politeness of the people of Sikkim with top notch hospitality. Very similar to what we expect in the USA . This place is traditional yet extremely modern with all modern amenities including a Smart TV.
