Monthly Rentals in Dunsford

We enjoyed our stay at Mardon very much. It felt very remote but the access was easy from the A30 and the instructions were clear (and Google Map was accurate which helped too!). We appreciated that Vicki lives right on site so was available in case of any questions. The cottage was comfortable for a family of 5 and we enjoyed the walk to Fingle Bridge and visiting Castle Drogo. Dartmoor overall is very beautiful and a special place to visit.

A beautiful location and comfortable accomodation. Everything we needed for a short stop over. Wished we could have stayed longer and would love to come back in warmer weather to take advantage of the outside space and surrounding countrtyside.

We had a wonderful Christmas here. Ian was away so his daughter Kate gave us a warm welcome and showed us round. The place is the perfect cosy hideaway for winter, it was so warm with the Aga and woodburner, we didn't want to leave. The Aga was great at cooking our Christmas meal and it was lovely to wake up and walk into a warm kitchen! The kitchen was so well equipped with store cupboard food, herbs, spices, all the plates, utensils and cooking equipment you'd need to make a big meal. Ian kindly put out an array of drinks to help ourselves to as well. It was great having a dishwasher and a freezer. The bed was very comfy and the sound of the river that runs by the stable is lovely. We went on some walks to Dunsford and Bridford woods nearby. We'd definitely come back!

Beautiful cottage set in picturesque surroundings. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean, well equipped with all the essentials including high quality bedding and towels. Ben was always great at getting back to us with any questions we had. Some lovely walks around the area and great pubs nearby. We bought a couple of bottles of the Swanaford wine which are delicious!! We had a wonderful weekend and hope to return soon- thanks Ben!
