Holiday houses in Downtown, Boston

A nice little apartment close to the beach! I liked the fire pit and the grill especially. The beds were very soft and had a lot of warm blankets. The TV has a lot of wifi capability. The kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes and cookware. The neighborhood is calm and the sea breeze is nice, even if it's chilly out. Fencing around the property gives a lot of privacy in the back yard, and there are chairs out there if the weather permits chilling outside.

What a find! I came to Kristen's because some plans fell through last minute. Having never heard of Marblehead but keen to visit somewhere by the sea and easily accessible from Boston, wow did I get a pleasant surprise. It is absolutely beautiful there, I had to pinch myself - it was like living in a film! The apartment was absolutely perfect. I'd been staying somewhere a bit grubby and disorganised beforehand and Kristen's place was absolutely sparkling clean, I felt incredibly welcome and cared for right away. Furthermore, checking in early with my monstrous suitcase was no problem at all and the apartment is generously stocked with coffee, tea, snacks, a bottle of wine, cold drinks, a folder of local recommendations, comfortable, quality furnishings and linens, great lighting and more. This is what true hosting is all about if you ask me - making your guests feel as comfortable and welcome as possible and Kristen most certainly does this in spades.

the pictures dont do justice. this cozy quiet get away has a beautiful view to enjoy waking uo to or sitting at the window bench to read a book. to the cozy patio that has a small yard that leads to the beach which let me tell you was a beautiful view. we come up to Salem regularly and I think we found our new regular spot

We had a wonderful stay at Regina’s place. It was very comfortable, well appointed, and the views of the water are gorgeous. We hope to stay again the next time we are in the area.

Darryl’s place is in a perfect location to easily walk around Beverly and with a car access Salem and the surrounding area. There’s also a train within walking distance and quick access to Boston. Darryl‘s place itself is definitely a home away from home with everything you need to be comfortable. Darryl himself is immediately responsive and has great local tips. Looking forward to staying again!

Very comfortable accommodations with a host who cares about her guests' experience. Judith explained everything we needed to know thoroughly and was responsive to questions. She even left us delicious fresh muffins from a local bakery. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Marblehead!

Excellent experience. Easy check in and the place was perfect, she even had some snacks waiting for us upon arrival. Easy walk to the ferry into Boston, and easy parking. It was winter, but there were plenty of outdoor activities so we'd love to come back during the summer. Older house but so charming and great location. Overall great communication before, during, and after; she even offered to ship a shoe my niece left behind to us. Would love to come back and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a great place in Hull.

I can’t rave enough about how wonderful our stay was. Casie was absolutely great. She made sure our stay was perfect from the beginning to the end. The location is amazing. There are restaurants and the beach that are walking distance. Winthrop is a true gem! We are looking forward to coming back and staying here again!
