House holiday rentals in Dodges Ferry - Lewisham

We stayed a week in this wonderful house, with its amazing spaces, that the 9 of us had no trouble to spread out and relax in. The photos do not do this place justice and the massive picturesque indoor pool was greatly appreciated by many, as was the sauna and the pool table. We had mostly beautiful weather and the stunning roses were in bloom around the house along with the the fuchsias and flowering gums. We were lucky to see a small Aurora Australis. We were very thankful for the beautiful "Welcome Hamper’ for the 9 of us. Jason and Katrina where great hosts, good with communication and attended to anything that arose during our stay. They even provided a cooler fan for one of our group who needed to be very cold at night to sleep. Thank you for listing this amazing house for large groups to enjoy!

A spacious beautiful home with everything you need for a great stay. The bedrooms and living spaces are all large and comfortable. The surrounding bushland is lovely and the spa is just an added touch to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. The local rooster did like to wake us up early but we didn’t mind it, just added to the ambiance. Lots of local wildlife in the close vicinity.

Family of 8 accommodated very easily, lots of separate spaces for kids and adults alike with great views of the harbour from the upstairs living space. Quick drive to nearby amenities/shops and city within 15 minutes. Recommend for those looking for family friendly accommodation.

This is an outstanding property with a wonderful and responsive host. We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. The house is very private and well appointed, maintained and stocked with quality produce and supplies - we were also welcomed by a beautiful hamper, and warm service. The property itself has stunning views from almost every window. We enjoyed using the gym (located in an adjacent private building which can also be used as a study), pool and spa. We had a few things on our list to visit for the Huon Valley but were very content to stay at the house and enjoy all the amenities. We would most definitely return here when visiting Tasmania.

The view is amazing with a lovely pool and spa. Having two living spaces was great to allow people to do their own things. Very comfortable beds. Bill was great getting back to us with any questions.

This is an amazing property, it’s very spacious and has everything you need for a wonderful relaxing stay. It’s in a quiet area but a short drive to cafes, the casino and the city centre. The hosts are great and always ready to help. Also the views are pretty spectacular and my family thoroughly enjoyed the time spent here.

An amazing and spacious house secluded in the bush. Our kids absolutely loved the pool and spent hours in it. Lots of lovely rooms inside and out to sit and relax and take in the scenery. The beach was a nice short walk away but the house is so nice to spend time in we barely left the property.

Effa House is a beautifully designed place with a deck with a great view. It is well equipped with everything you need for a short and also long stay for a family with kids. Farida, our host, was very friendly and responsive. Would love to come back and enjoy more time at the deck with a futsal table.

Warm hospitality, beautiful view from the veranda, especially in the evening. Very very will equipped, comfortable, cozy, like feeling at home. Everything for breakfast and other foodstuff was offered. We really recommend staying in that beautiful place.

Amazing stay at Dolphin View Beach House. The house has everything you could possibly need. The location is amazing. Beautiful views of Primrose sands beach and only a short 5 minute walk to the beach itself.

What a great house to stay in while exploring the area and Maria Island. We felt like we were home. Everything we needed was available and the house was spotless clean and comfortable. Debbie was a wonderful host that went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. She even had a bottle of wine and chocolate waiting for us. We highly recommend staying here.

After accidentally booking incorrect dates for our stay by one night, the hosts were extremely understanding and accommodating. Doing their best to find us another place to call home for the night, an agreement was reached to refund the night we wouldn’t be staying at their home and letting us maintain our other booked night. The hosts were wonderful to deal with and I couldn’t recommend them any more highly.

My family has a great weekend stay. Everyone loved the pinball machines, air hockey etc and had a great time. Loved the welcome pack of bread, milk etc. Had clear instructions for everything in the house, beautiful back deck and we could not fault a thing. My kids are already asking when we can go back!

Richard’s place was great and clean. Location was excellent and Richard was very accomodating and responsive

I stayed with 2 girlfriends for a quiet getaway for my friends 40th birthday and an excuse to have a book stacation. the accommodation was perfect for our needs, a beautiful view, all the amenities we needed to cook for ourselves. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and the privacy in the comfort of these beautiful home.

Always love staying here. Have stayed many times over the years and will stay many more times into the future 😊

Outstanding! You will not be disappointed. Every year five of us girls get together to celebrate two of our birthdays, and this would have to be the best by far! The spa is an absolute hit, we definitely made the most of it. This house has absolutely everything you need and felt like home… it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. All the beds were comfortable, and warm. And the bread, milk and continental breakfast was a lovely touch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Seamless check in to this beautiful house..The kitchen is so well equipped, with a superb stove, many pots and pans and a full pantry. The bedrooms are all so clean and comfortable. Perfectly located, just minutes walk from cafes, wine bars, restaurants and to town. We had a lovely stay in Hobart. Highly recommend this place for a family or friends holiday.

Really lovely place to stay. We booked in order to visit van Bone but were blown away by the beautiful, peaceful setting, amazing wildlife ( in house echidna and kookaburra family). It was perfect. Also really well stocked house, great library and telescope.

Nice and tidy house. excellent view. Can see wallabies jumping in front of you outside the house.
