Great little stay. Had a few troubles with the heating but the owners resolved the matter quickly and have been incredibly accommodating :) Fantastic location. Will definitely visit again!

Dodds Lee is a fantastic cottage , surrounded by beautiful peacful scenery. This is our second visit here and we have just returned from spending a fabulous New Years break with our daughters, son in laws and baby granchildren. The cottage was big enough to accomadate everyone, whilst still having your own private space. Anneli was a superb host, nothing was too much trouble and communication was quick and responsive. We will definitely be back. Anyone thinking about this cottage should definitely book it , you won't be disappointed! Thanks again Anneli.

Before I begin the review, I must say this was one of the best Airbnb experiences I've had in a long time. Hazel's meticulous attention to detail and exceptional personal service could rival, if not surpass, that of a five-star hotel. This place books up fast, so if you're searching for a cozy, warm, quiet, and homely retreat in the Lake District, look no further! A few thoughtful extras really set this place apart – the fridge was stocked with fresh milk, bread, orange juice, local jams, and butter, while the cupboards offered a variety of breakfast cereals. It's rare to find accommodations that provide such generous touches for their guests! Location - Great location, easy reach to any of the lakes and pikes. PS: The place was spotless and came with fresh towels! I would absolutely come back and wholeheartedly recommend it to others.
