Monthly Rentals in Díli

I had a great time staying with Marion at her place in Dili. She is very friendly and helpful when it comes to navigating around Dili and getting information about Timor-Leste. You can walk about 7-10 minutes up the street and under the bridge to catch many of the mikrolets and there is the number 11 that goes right past her home. I stayed in the upstairs bedroom which has a private bathroom attached to it and a fridge with a freezer. There's also AC in the bedroom and in the lounge. The apartment was clean and the kitchen has all the cooking supplies (utensils, pots and pans, French press coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, etc.) in case you want to prepare meals yourself. She also has two friendly cats and a big fluffy Husky and they all like people. I also met a lot of great people through her. I recommend staying here if you come to Dili.

Great ans spacious place right in the center - and I mean center - of Dili. Well equipped kitchen and high quality build of the house (which is not a given in Timor-Leste as many things need to be specially imported), and high quality appliances, such as the A/C. Noman is a really, really helpful host that replies very quickly and supported the special requests I had because of my health needs for which I am most grateful. As I was there on mixed work/holiday trip, the Starlink internet was vital for the work part of my trip. Can highly recommend!

Pousada a Casa de Sandoval is a tranquil haven in the heart of Barrio Central. The place is stylish, tastefully decorated and features an enchanting courtyard reminiscent of a Mexican hacienda. However, the jewel 💎 in the crown is the ever-friendly and cheerful staff who are knowledgeable, efficient and truly understand the needs of tourists and business people alike. Close to the waterfront, restaurants and a pleasant stroll from the Palácio de Gobierno, you will be central to most of Dili's attractions. if you want a real Timorese experience and not another sterile hotel, come here and be welcomed into their extended family. The Assistant Manager is effervescent, obliging and a factotum of local knowledge. All staff were a delight, and special mention goes to V, who made delicious breakfasts and laundered clothing super-quick at short notice. I would highly recommend La Pousada a Casa de Sandoval and would definitely come back if the opportunity arose. My stay was one of many highlights of my trip to Dili, Timor Leste. ¡Viva la RDTL!

So far the location has been very convenient, with a very relatively cheap price supported by friendly staff. Plus by the owner who is very quick to respond to questions. So if you are going to Timor Leste, don't miss staying at this location.
