Great location - close to the city center. The house was clean and cozy. The hosts were very nice and responded quickly to our messages. We had a great stay.

We were looking for a peaceful private getaway in the nature and Detry and Marcel’s place was exactly what we needed! The garden is very private, fully surrounded by the green bushes 🌳. We only saw Detry and Marcel when they brought us delicious breakfast 😋. The area is beautiful and very quiet, awesome for walking or biking. The city Emmen was 15 min drive away and had all the necessary stores 🛒🛍️. Detry was very responsive and helpful, we felt right at home 🏡.

From start to finish just perfect accommodation, we were there with three generations of our family, it was an ideal fit for everyone. My already older in-laws stayed on the ground floor, very close to the toilet and bathroom, for us parents and our child there was a good retreat. We have never experienced such a well-equipped apartment, there was nothing missing. Even Nespresso capsules were there, lots of spices vinegar oil, all kinds of kitchen appliances, enough pans and pots, enough dishes, a dishwasher with plenty of tabs . The communication also went smoothly, someone who also lives on the premises proactively inquired with us if there was anything else he could help us, he kindly asked again the next day. So thanks also to Julian. In addition, the quiet and relaxed environment in the countryside, with the water around it, simply magnificent. It couldn't be better!

We enjoyed Getelo very much. If you love nature and are looking for peace and quiet, you're in the right place. Also the surrounding places, you are directly in Holland, e.g. the Künstlerstatt Ootmaarsum was a real highlight and a recommendation from Joop. The space is our absolute recommendation.

Edwin's place was well thought out, spotless and an ideal location from buses and train station. The welcome check in in person and the thoughtful food parcel was an excellent addition. Thank you Edwin

We had a fantastic weekend in Giethoorn! The stay exceeded our expectations, and we are incredibly grateful for the warm hospitality. We stayed three nights with a baby. For us it was a nice midweek. For the baby Should we do some practical actions like making it a little dark in the room during the day. We also live very quietly ourselves but do not have a rooster nearby. We did have to get used to the fact that a rooster crows the whole time from 04:00. Furthermore, we were well received and everything was top!

We stayed in the cottage during the week of New Year's Eve. Even though the weather was not great, the cottage was cozy, quiet and equipped with every comfort. Luxury coffee maker and TV with plenty of programs. Communication with owner was friendly, fast and efficient. New Year's Eve was surprisingly quiet in the street.

What a wonderful place! I have very much enjoyed staying in this lovely house for a few days. Nice beds, nice village and so much to see and walk in the area. Recommended!

A-typical space: a low-level ground floor, tastefully restored in an industrial style. Very spacious and comfortable. Beautiful bathroom and corner sofa. Located on the garden side. Our stay was with winter weather and the electric additional heating provided a cozy temperature. Downtown Assen is close, so no need for a car. Friendly host and hostess. Nice to stay in a building with a special history.

We had a great stay, the house is very spacious and cosy and we felt at home straight away, the host is friendly and helpful. We liked the location with three beautiful national parks within short driving distance. Everything was clean, beds were great, we would highly recommend the place.

We had a great stay at Jolanda and Werner’s apartment whilst visiting Meppel for a wedding. The apartment was super clean with the comfiest bed! Location was great - right in the heart of town Jolanda and Werner were great hosts - easy to follow instructions and good recommendations within the local area.

We had a lovely stay at this property. We spent a weekend in Groningen and enjoyed the time very much. The accommodation has all you need for a few days. Unfortunately, there is no oven, but if you know this beforehand, you can plan accordingly and still prepare delicious meals. The parking space on the premises was also pleasant. We felt very well taken care of here and safe.

We spend a few wonderful and quiet days there. Everything was great.
