Holiday rentals with a patio in Dharga Town

Where to start.. In my 10+ years on Airbnb, I have never come across a property like this. The hosts and their kids are just exquisite. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home and cater to your every need. The apartment is brand-new, super clean, and has all the amenities needed at the same time the lush jungle and green surroundings give a very tropical vibe. Working from home cannot be better, more peaceful, and private and with high-speed internet. The family loves to cook a meal for you, so you can keep on working or simply enjoy a relaxing stay. There is also the possibility to rent their scooter or tuk-tuk, make use of the laundry services and enjoy a yoga session on the rooftop deck. It's situated in the middle of the jungle, with monkeys and all kinds of lovely creatures. We love to surf, and with the beach just 5 mins scooter ride away, we felt like we had everything we could dream of. We will be back for sure!:) Thank you Nalaka and family for the wonderful stay!

We were hosted by the Sonali family. We lived on the second floor in an apartment with everything you need. There are plenty of cooking utensils in the kitchen. Blender, lots of dishes. Bathroom is clean and has hot water. The bedding is perfect in the bedroom. Cleaned once every three days. Sister Sonali treated us with pancakes with coconut)) this was how we were helped to find a transfer and spent us at night. We are very grateful for your hospitality, kindness and help in all matters! Walk to the ocean 500 meters. The beach is cool, sand, you can surf. There are many restaurants nearby, one of them is right on your street.

We had an excellent stay at this apartment and appreciated all the thoughtful details. Communication with Dakshan was smooth and supportive from start to finish - he was very helpful, always quick to respond, and offered great assistance whenever we had questions or needed guidance. The apartment itself was in top-notch condition, featuring powerful air conditioning, fast internet, and a fully equipped kitchen that made cooking easy. The spacious layout and separate showers in each room gave everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the modern yet cosy feel instantly made us feel at home. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d gladly stay here again.

The Beach Grove villas are in a very nice and peaceful setting, among palm trees and with two well maintained swimming pools. The actual beach is perhaps 10-15 minutes walk through a quiet and pleasant country road. We thought that this was better than staying nearer to the beach, which can be noisy. Perfect for families. Good breakfast and dinner are available upon request. The owner is friendly and helpful, the staff courteous and efficient. This is actually one of the few places that looks better in reality than in the pictures!

Gianluca is an excellent host, he was always responsive and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had what we needed to feel at home. The apartment is in a bustling, central location with plenty of restaurants, beach access spots and boutique stores and surfboard rentals in the area. We had everything we needed at the apartment, Gianluca was very communicative about any extras, suggestions for surf spots and local activities over the festive season. We were well taken care of, his property manager and house keeper were also so lovely, and we loved our stay between Gianluca’s properties in Ahangama. Things could get a bit loud on the main road but we were visiting over Christmas and New Years, so this is to be expected anywhere central. We would highly recommend the studio, and would definitely book again the next time we’re in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Gianluca and co!

We really loved our stay in the apartment. It's very nicely designed and has everything that's needed. Also, we really enjoyed cooking in the outside kitchen. The place has a nice working area if you ever need to be productive. Eva was a great host. She was there for us all the time and helped us a lot with everything. The beach is very close and several shops aren't far away.

A lovely apartment with good facilities in beautiful surroundings. Nuwan was very responsive and helpfully sorted out scooter hire for our stay and a taxi to Colombo. We relaxed and watched the monkeys and birds from the peaceful balcony, it's a lovely little oasis!

Very sweet Airbnb, right at a great surf spot. Well equipped kitchen, super comfy and clean, nice garden, great lighting concept, washing machine, fridge, just everything you need. The area is very calm and nice, the whole neighborhood very friendly. Thuruni and the owner family were super nice and helpful. Highly recommend it and would come back anytime again. Prasanna’s place was beautifully done and I had a convenient stay there. Would recommend it and will likely stay there again myself.

We absolutely loved our stay here, Josephine and the staff were so helpful and easy to communicate with. The house was stunning and really well kept - I’m a frequent visitor to Sri Lanka and know that I will be staying here again ❤️

Tamryn’s villa is gorgeous, it’s a secluded paradise but within easy reach of lovely local restaurants and beaches. Charith and Tharaka, the house keeper and gardener were so lovely, especially with our children, and we really appreciated the lovely food cooked by them and just feeling that someone was always there should we need anything. The house dogs were really friendly and the children loved them. We literally couldn’t fault a thing, we can’t wait to return one day! It’s such a wonderful base to explore Sri Lanka…if you’re reading this, book it!

Enjoyed our stay at David’s very much! The villa was clean and spacious, and located in a quiet area, which we appreciated.

We had a gorgeous stay. You feel like you are living in a piece of Sri Lankan history. The building is stunning and the pool was perfect for us; warm and great for the kids. Surath and his delightful team were proud to work there and were so kind and helpful; from sorting out tuk tuks for us to cutting down coconuts in the garden for us to drink, we felt looked after and able to relax. The house is located near the bustle of Ahangama but far enough away to remain peaceful. Thank you for an unforgettable stay, we loved our time there.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mana Lodge. The place looks just like the photos but even better in reality. Even though it rained the first few days during our stay , we felt completely at home. It’s very well equipped and had everything we needed at the villa. We had a housekeeper who is always available whenever we need him and he has a tuk tuk so he can take you wherever you need to go at whatever time you need which was a big plus! He’s very punctual and kind. The hosts were very friendly, responsive and accommodating to our requests. You can also ask them to arrange a private chef for you if you need with a small extra charge :) Overall amazing stay, highly recommended!

David’s place is incredible. Right on the beach and right in the heart of Ahangama! The house, pool and lawn area are all beautiful. When all is quiet you can hear music from a nearby bar in the night time. It wasn’t a major bother and won’t matter for most, we just had two young kids so were home most of the evening.

Amazing apartment! So close to galle so easy to go for dinner. Nice restaurant/ beach club within walking distance. Aircon was a lovely. plus restaurant was a nice addition for easy lunches/ dinner!

I stayed at Ananda's place for 5 weeks. The place is great! It was extremely clean upon check in. The place is spacious, exatly like the photos. The bed is very comfy with mosquito net. The wifi is strong and stable, perfect for remote working. They also have a small shop where you can get basic stuff such as water, cookies, soap, etc. Very convenient. The location is good. You can walk to the beach, 10-15 min. Ananda and his wife Malika are super host. Very sweet and atentive, they took care about everything so my stay was perfect. Malika is an excellent cook. She cooks absolutely delicious Sri Lankan food for a very reasonable price (way cheaper than any restaurant). It was without any doubt the best local food I tried in Sri Lanka. Definetly a must try! I recommend the place 100%! :)

This is our 2nd stay at Sha Villas by Ushaan. Overall, Five-star host and a brilliant apartment! Check in and check out is super easy, and Ushaan is a very communicative and thoughtful host. It is a beautiful , spacious place with great amenities. Immaculately clean and a very convenient location. We would book again for our next visit.

Had a great stay at this beautifully furnished, duplex condominium. The apartment has ample space, is extremely comfortable and ideally suited for a large family or group. It is also equipped with all the amenities you would expect from any 5* hotel. The host, Minoli was also extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. All in all, one of the best condominium properties in the area!

Beautiful, clean home. Bathroom great, nice furnishings. - The location is a little off the beaten path, you can take a walk across the beach at the hotel "Mama Mia" to get to the "real" beautiful beach. - You get to the house where you take the small path with the sign to the "Private Beach House", we didn't find it right away. Located about 10m in front of Hotel Mama Mia (hotel facing right along the street).

Really nice and peaceful accommodation. Not too far from the main road :) It was nice it had a little balcony, air conditioning and a mini kitchen
