I went to the mountains for a few days to get some writing done. It was perfect rainy weather and the place is so cozy. I appreciated that the kitchen was set up with everything you need to cook so I didn't have to go anywhere. There were even seasonings and spices. I very much enjoyed my time in Cardoso.

This is the most beautiful home. Up In the hills, with stunning views, spread over 3 floors, it’s extremely spacious. It’s just been renovated to a high standard, everything is immaculate. 4 large double bedrooms split over the 1st and 2nd floors. Maria and family are wonderful, communicating easily and quickly, meeting us at the bottom of the hill to travel up. Showing us around and available for local recommendations etc but giving 100% privacy. The pool is absolutely stunning and solely for your use. We can not recommend it enough.

We spent totally peaceful and refreshing nights there, and yet this small apartment is in the middle of a village! The bed was comfortable for us. We felt pampered by our host, even though he didn't allow himself to meet live. The value was great for us and we could come back to try the summer season rather than winter.
