Monthly Rentals in Devil Lake

I'll admit, based on the reviews our expectations were high. They were exceeded in nearly every facet of our stay. We desperately needed ( election fatigue) to get away and have a week of peace, quiet, and serenity. Danielle and Jorden's home was perfect. there was not one single time while staying there that we looked for something that didn't exist. The bathrooms and kitchen are fabulous, and all are very well appointed. The radiant floors in the ensuite bath were a nice touch. The location is ideal, you are right on the lake with wonderful views from both inside and out, and despite having neighbors, it feels incredibly private. We had one small mechanical issue which Danielle took care of immediately. they were a pleasure to speak with, and their response time was always nearly immediate. The locals were incredibly friendly, the supermarket is just across the lake, and there's a nice dog park for those bringing their fur babies. We look forward to a returning to this ideal spot.

This was a last-minute Airbnb rental because I just had foot surgery. It was the best place to spend for two days while recovering. The bed was so comfortable, and I enjoyed looking out the window at the beautiful lake with fresh fallen snow on it. I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie! My husband cooked every night on the grill, and we sat by the woodburning stove drinking wine while listening to Christmas music. I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb ‘s and this was one of my favorite experiences. I can’t wait to go back in the summer!

Beautiful and peaceful location right by the lake surrounded by trees. Host was kind and responsive, cabin is older but functional and has everything you need. The view from the balcony overlooks the lake and you can enjoy your meal there or have barbecue. There is also direct access to the lake and you can use the motor boat and the canoes. We were here in the fall with our two dogs and really enjoyed the colors on the trees. Be aware that there are ticks and if you bring a dog, they absolutely need to have protection against ticks. Would recommend to those who appreciate nature and are not looking for luxury but a cozy cabin experience.

An absolute gem. My wife and I were looking for a cozy place to read, watch Netflix, and ring in 2025. The Cottage in the Woods was deal location for all of those things, but it's also close to nature (we spent part of New Year's Day on the Cataraqui Trail) while downtown Kingston's an easy 25-minute drive. The place is spacious, clean, and oh-so-bright. Rebecca and her family (including their pup Copper) were wonderful guests. We would love to come back.
