Monthly Rentals in Deer Island

Heather’s cottage was very clean, quaint and quiet. Heather is very responsive and communicated directions very well. We just wish we didn’t have to cut our trip short

We had a wonderful stay at the bungalow. Very clean and loved all the amenities and the extra goodies that were left for us as well like a s’mores making station and extra bathroom essentials if needed. The outdoor space was private and the activities outside were also a nice touch. We appreciated the outside area being fenced in as well to accommodate for our service animal. Overall wonderful place to stay!

This is the second time we stayed here in a visit to Mount Dora! (Make sure to eat at Shiva’s and stop by Serendipity for a great selection of craft beers.) We loved it the first time because it had everything we needed and is so walkable to downtown. My favorite thing about visiting there is that we park the car, and then don’t use it again until we leave! Great location, clean and private. We will be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay! I would highly recommend this cottage when visiting central Florida. The property is beautiful and although it was chilly during our time, if it would have been warmer we would have loved taking advantage of all the wonderful amenities. The animals on the property were a gift to my grands, they got to pet the goat and loved walking on the dock hopeful to see an alligator 😂 Miriam was a delightful host and very easy to communicate with and helpful when we needed anything.
