What a beautiful little haven! It was so nice to leave the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam, to spend our evenings relaxing at De Woude. Leigh-Anne is a wonderful host, who cannot be faulted. Leigh-Anne met us at the pier when we arrived, walked us to the Lodge, and then meticulously gave us a run-down of its workings, with a little bonus of home-made cookies for us to enjoy. Highly recommend!

We had a beautiful time at Sandras space, we loved the wooden sauna, the beautiful, spacious barn convertion and we had the freshest eggs ever, directly from very cute chicken.

The arrival was already very nice. Cottage was wonderfully heated and Vera came to welcome us. The area is beautiful and relaxing and in the area there is plenty to do. We visited Hoorn, Alkmaar and Graft. Well worthwhile. Breakfast was delicious and varied. In short: we didn't want to go home anymore!
