We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s house in Wendouree. The house was exactly as described and was spotless when we arrived. We loved the feel of the house looking out to the garden and thoughtful touches like welcome gifts plus dog bowls for our dogs. We were in Ballarat to celebrate my birthday and Jane was super helpful with suggestions of places for large groups to eat as well as things to do. We loved our stay and hope to return again one day.

We had a fantastic stay in Bella's gorgeous cottage. The house had everything we needed, was very comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely recommend and will return if we're ever in Ballarat again. Bella was a very friendly host and was super obliging with check-in and check-out times.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming Charter Farm house! The property was beautifully decorated, blending classic old-world charm with modern amenities. It was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group. The kids loved the trampoline, while the men had a great time on the tennis court. A perfect retreat for families looking to relax and enjoy some outdoor fun. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay-super comfortable, packed with things to do, and perfect for both kids and adults. The Bungalow Bus was a huge hit with the kids, and there were so many extras like ping pong, pool, PS2, books, games, and even a mini sports field! Beds were incredibly comfy, and we loved waking up to the sound of birds in such a peaceful, nature-filled setting. The house is beautifully maintained, full of charm, and the location is ideal-quiet but close to town and cute shops (the kids loved the lolly shop!). Special thanks to Sam, who was an exceptional host-very responsive and proactive with tips and directions that made everything easy. This was truly a standout stay for us, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and memorable getaway!

We enjoyed a lovely Easter break at Deborah’s place. The large living area was light filled and welcoming - just the place to put the feet up and relax. The bathroom and kitchen were clean, and the latter well equipped. The location was excellent, just a short walk to the station and shops. Last but not least - the beds were comfy! We thoroughly recommend The Nissen!

I was impressed by the spices and ameneties they had in the kitchen. Great collection of coffee making machines, utensils, very clean and new pans and pots, variety of spices. We loved our stay. the balcony area was great for early morning wakeup and listening to birds. great location. 👍☺️

Very clean, homely and felt very safe. Parking is tricky but you can park your car off the road and in front of home - the carport/shed could only fit a smaller car. A little smaller than the photos suggest but in saying so it wasn’t an issue for me and my children staying there and we felt right at home. Close to attractions and food options. Not far from supermarkets. Would stay again.

We had the most amazing stay here! Our dogs were in absolute heaven—there’s a beautiful pond where they spent hours swimming, a huge yard for them to explore, and plenty of space to run around. The property itself is stunning, with gorgeous surroundings that made for the most peaceful and scenic getaway. One of our favourite things was just sitting outside, enjoying the fresh air, and watching all the adorable birds flitting around—it really felt like a nature retreat. The hosts clearly put a lot of thought into making this place feel welcoming and comfortable, not just for humans but for our fur babies too. 🐾💛

What an absolutely beautiful place! It was sweltering hot when we stayed and yet the beauty of the house , its entertaining area and the furnishings inside and out were so mind blowingly beautiful the chest was quickly forgotten. Whoever owns the house is very cultured, well travelled and has an eye and we are very grateful that they share it with people like us. Beautiful. And the restaurants nearby are exceptional. We ate at Sault and it was better than most Melbourne restaurants in our opinion.

perfect little spot in Hepburn, Sharee was flexible and the place was so easy to check in to, even at 8pm in the dark (they left the lights on for us) bedrooms are get, multiple bathrooms and overall just a spacious environmental! One thing i will mention, coffee and tea is not provided at this house, so bring your own!

We had two families stay for a week. The home is spacious and well laid out. The outdoor entertaining area is perfect and so is the pool. Chris gave us a good run down how to work everything. We had a brilliant time and would highly recommend this property for a relaxing home away from home.

A beautiful property for a surprise long weekend away to celebrate my aunty and uncle's 70th birthdays. The outdoor entertaining area, pool/spa, and surrounding forest were highlights. Very child and pet friendly. Everything seems to be thought of, such as games, music speakers, dog beds, plastic glassware for outdoor, lounge beds around the pool etc. A beautiful place, highly recommend. The communication with Chris was very responsive and helpful.

Dennis and Bronwen's place is stunning. I am almost reluctant to give it the review that it deserves so that I can keep it secret. Very spacious, comfortable and a really thoughtful attention to detail, and a positive energy about the place. Proactive, friendly hosts are the icing on the cake. Very highly recommended.

Serene and peaceful, just what we were looking for. Loved the kangaroos hopping around as it's always a great sight seeing them. Our two mini schnauzers were very happy to run around the grounds, which are mostly fenced so we could easily keep them in check. Loved the sauna, the games room and how the grounds invite to wander and stroll around.

Beautiful property and a brilliant location. What was a lovely surprise for me was the abundance of bird life every morning and evening. So beautiful! I’d definitely book this property again if going to Creswick.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay Beautiful view Peaceful and lots of privacy We were lucky enough to have both warm and cold weather So we got to enjoy the fireplace and pizza oven and fire pit The animals were fun even when the lamas were spitting on us!!! We saw eagles kangaroos and even deer and foxes so was exciting The house was very well equipped and we had everything we needed to use. Even home made treats which was lovely We will definitely stay here again Carolyn

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and cozy home! The house is not only stylish and well-equipped but also incredibly comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of our favorite parts was the backyard, where our baby was absolutely delighted watching the birds and ducks each day. The location is great—peaceful, yet just a short drive into town. We especially loved the pastries at Redbeard Bakery and found the most amazing strawberries at the local farmers market. Gordon was a fantastic host—super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming and peaceful retreat!

We really enjoyed our stay at 52Views. Lovely finishing touches throughout the property (the heated bathroom floor was fab), amazing views and Bev was very kind.

Great location in Ballarat central very close to everything. We arrived late so Sue had put the lights and the heater on for us which was greatly appreciated. Very tidy and cosy cottage we enjoyed our long weekend .

It was a wonderful stay. Everything was precisely perfect as expected, even though we spent less time at home and mostly used it for sleeping only due to heaps of activities. It was a great, hassle-free place with modern equipment. I definitely recommend it. Hope we visit again.

Jodies place was perfect for us. In a great location, clean, bright and comfortable. It is a great space. And the dog felt very welcome also! Jodie was very responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely stay again.
