Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Cuyahoga River

We had a great stay! We were in town for a wedding downtown. The house was conveniently located, maybe 10 minutes from downtown. We had plenty of space for our group and enjoyed the eclectic style of the home and the unique art. Heather was responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed her breakfast in the morning and enjoyed talking to her. It was unique stay and we would definitely return.

We had a wonderful weekend away! I had been super stressed out at work, and an autumn weekend on the river was just the best! Valerie makes the stay feel perfect and makes sure her guests are well taken care of. Thank you!

Great stay. 2 min drive from a Starbucks, gas and other restaurant spots. Easy access to the highway. 3 bedrooms gave everyone their own space. Photos look exactly like the house in real life. Even though it’s on a road it’s not busy. If you are a light sleeper I would say to bring a sound machine and maybe ear plug. Lots of storage space here too. Very clean. Kevon is a great communicator and very organized. I would stay here again.

Jeff was an incredible host! His house was perfect for our family ski weekend gathering! From the fire place, to the awesome hot tub, to the basement filled with fun games/activities, and the popcorn machine…we loved every amenity and appreciated Jeff’s commitment to our comfort and enjoyment!

We booked this cabin the day before, late in the evening and thankfully they accepted the reservation. We got there after sundown which was a bit tough for check in due to the lack of electricity but we were still able to settle in regardless. We came underprepared for the frigid cold on the night we stayed (it got as low as 42F outdoors and close to that indoors) so we’ll be sure to bundle up better next time. That being said, the morning of our check out, we went on a little walk through the cleared trail in the back of the cabin and it was quite refreshing with the sunshine. Thank you to Laura and Jeff for the pleasant time and flexibility!

We loved David’s home! We stayed here for my son’s 21st birthday so he could see a lighthouse and visit Cuyahoga National Park and a Rubberducks game😂 Home was very clean and so cute! The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing with everything within walking distance. Make sure to walk to the ice cream place and play a game of putt putt - breakfast at Julbeans crepes. Nice stores with locally made items. The beach is cute and we loved the lighthouse! If you can visit the Headlands nature preserve it’s absolutely beautiful. We love this town and would love to come back to visit. I highly recommend this Airbnb - it’s one of the best I’ve stayed in. Thank you David for such an amazing place to stay ❤️

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy and cool house in the North Hill area of Akron. Super clean, with nice amenities and neutral decor, everything was exactly as described. Very quiet neighborhood and close enough to route 8 to make travel very convenient. Jack was an awesome host, was very friendly and responsive! Would highly recommend!
