Excellent and precise instructions for location and arrival from Jane. Property was as seen in the photos with a great choice of teas and breakfast cereals along with a bowl of fresh fruit and other surprises which made us feel most welcome. The property is beautiful and stylish, nestled in nature with green fields perfect for a walk or run. Louise, the host, was always available with helpful tips and suggestions. I’d recommend it if you’re looking to explore the surroundings and escape the city.

I would rate this home and host 11/10 if I could! Best stay we’ve had! We are SO incredibly blessed to have found this home during our visit to England. After two weeks trekking around the country visiting all the major stops, we were worn out and looking for a place to stay for a couple of days to rest up before our flight home. This home was the PERFECT respite for our family. Not only was the home exactly as the photos show (charming, tastefully decorated and thoughtfully organized) — the host, Fiona, is the kindest, most incredibly thoughtful host we have ever met across dozens of homes over the years. Every single detail of this home is thought out, well described / and easy to figure out. The kitchen was fully decked out with high quality appliances, utensils and cook/dish ware. The bathrooms were well appointed and mini-spa like experiences. The family room was a great place for board games and family movies in the evening. The refinished garage setup as a game room was a bonus!

Lovely host, absolutely amazing setting, very dog friendly. We will definitely want to come back, if they will have us. The flat itself is super cozy and has everything you could possibly need. I loved the little details such as the Christmas decoration they put up, the minced pies they left for us, the milk in the fridge so we could have a cup of tea on arrival…
