Cottage holiday rentals in Crooked Lake

It was a great little getaway place for my husband and I. It was smaller than expected, but still worked out perfectly for the 2 of us. The hot tub was great! Kitchen is well stocked, and the place was very clean!

We loved our weekend on long lake. We had a nice relaxing time hanging out, fishing, enjoying a fire in the evening, etc. Also very much appreciated how stocked the house was with small things we needed, but wouldnt think to bring, like ziplock bags or just common kitchen tools. Overall, a great spot to chill on the lake and Laura and Steve are great hosts who respond quickly if there are any issues.

Our stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of incredible. The hosts went above and beyond to support our family during one of the most exciting and emotional times in our lives—the arrival of our child through adoption. With so many unknowns in our journey, they moved mountains to accommodate us, ensuring we had a beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing place to stay, even with our shifting timelines and unique requests. The home itself is absolutely stunning—everything is brand new, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the hot tub was such a treat. From the thoughtful design to the cozy atmosphere, every detail made our stay feel effortless and peaceful. We are already dreaming of returning in the summer to soak in the lake vibes and energy of Nettle Lake. We are beyond grateful for this experience and for the kindness and generosity of our hosts. I enjoyed everything about my stay. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and I sat on the porch to watch the lake and wildlife despite some very chilly temperatures. I loved the skylights! Bed was very comfortable and all that I needed was supplied. I would definitely stay here again.

Our time with friends at Sam and Christine’s was perfect! Peaceful and quiet which made for the perfect place to unplug and unwind. Spent hours floating on the very clear lake in the sunshine, visiting on the deck, kayaking, fishing and sitting around the fire pit while watching some of the most amazing sunsets. The house was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for making meals. Sam and Christine’s will defiantly be our choice next year for our annual getaway with friends!

Great little place near the lake! Very clean and I loved the modern decor; there is a lot of attention to detail. Great kitchen and we appreciated the Keurig coffee and complimentary bottle of wine. Beds were comfortable, linens were fresh!

This place is the ultimate get away from everything location! It is remote and quiet. The perfect place to go and just read a book or even take some of your crafts to work on. It is beautiful and quiet. I also love that we were able to bring our dog. My husband and I just went through a catastrophic event and we needed to get away for a few days. This is exactly what we needed. This place felt familiar and like home from the moment we arrived. We will be staying again in the future.

This was such a nice weekend with our family. The cottage was stocked with everything you need! The lake is super quiet and pretty private! The place was clean and remodeled in the inside. Our first time booking an AIRBNB so we were nervous but we are so glad we did!

Terri’s home is beautiful and clean. Bed is comfy and the extra throw blankets are a plus. Kitchen is well stocked.

We had such a phenomenal time at the cottage. The family that owns the place is incredibly kind and welcoming. Truly made us feel at home and it’s an incredible location for a small get away. We’re very appreciative of the hospitality and opening their home

This place was just perfect for our family and dog. There was a nice dock for our boat and the view of the lake was beautiful from inside and out on the deck. The host had everything we needed and we couldn’t be any more pleased with the experience. I would highly recommend this lake house. We had no issues at all. Lots of quaint places to eat and we spent most of our time fishing and relaxing on the lake.

Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

We've been back multiple years because of the peaceful environs and the ample space for big family gatherings. We loved our time spent here.

Beautiful sunsets in the evenings! The house was perfect! No issues at all! Phillip was great at communicating! The neighbors were so friendly!!

A perfect peaceful springtime oasis! Although, there are neighbors, the home felt private and secluded. The bed was the most comfortable one I've ever slept in away from home. Lila's home was beautifully decorated and her detailed instructions were very helpful. The cleanliness of her home was pristine.

A friend and I stayed at the cottage this past weekend to celebrate her 40th birthday. We had the best, most relaxing time! The cottage is so cute and there is so much care taken with every detail. We appreciated all the special extra touches - face masks, little chocolates on the bed, even the smell of the cottage (amazing, by the way!) The lake is so peaceful and quiet. We saw swans, otters, tons of birds. It was exactly the weekend we had hoped for. We would love to visit again someday!
