Cabin holiday rentals in Cradle Mountain

We arrived just before the sun started to set and the view across the wetlands was absolutely magical! Lots of wildlife visible from the balcony, which was great! We had everything we needed, and the place was very cosy and comfortable. The cabin felt secluded and private, but was just a short drive to Launceston. Easy to find too, and the directions were helpful. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back

The Meander Cabin might be our favourite stay of ALL TIME. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were in a home away from home. There is so much thought put into the cabin, and every small touch makes it amazing. from the fully equipped kitchen, to the bathrobes and the hottub, we were more than comfortable. This is a place we look forward to returning to!

Susie and Gordon have a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Very peaceful and has everything you could ask for and more. They were very responsive and helpful during our stay. A car is highly recommended for this trip as there isn’t much public transport and there are lovely farms, wineries, waterfalls and beaches nearby to explore. We would love to stay again. Couldn’t have chosen a better spot for our first holiday together.

This is a little gem, perfect for a few nights surrounded by trees. We loved splashing in the creek, and started gazing from the rear verandah. Everything was as described and we had what we needed for a lovely stay, despite a big rainy day. Would definitely recommend staying.

Great former bakery stay. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to Launceston and DeLoraine and beyond. Stephanie was very welcoming and it was great to see the White House, too.

This little cabin was such a fun and funky place to stay. I love what has been transformed from a 1930's cottage to this quirky cool zone. I loved all the lighting. The beds were super comfy, and I love the bedding, flannelette sheets were super cosy. The whole place just felt like home when we entered, it was great! I will definitely recommend to others and would stay again if we were down that way. Thanks for creating such an awesome house!

We enjoyed our stay here, kitchen had everything you needed to cook at home, IGA only a 2 min drive away. The pictures well represent the space. Although not too much to do in Zeehan itself we use this as a hub to travel down to Strahan/Queenstown (30-40mins away) and to Cradle Mountain (1 hour and 30mins away) was a great central location for us and found the home great to come home to after a long day

Fantastic location away from city lights and noise where you can enjoy nature in peace. Great fireplace to warm up when it gets cold outside.

For the LOCATION: The location is PERFECT for people who want to visit Cradle Mountain. The living place has a fantastic view of the mountains. It is about a 15-minute drive to the closest town of Tasmania. For the HOUSE: Everything is well-maintained and tidy. The facility is old but enough to use. Do not recommend BBQ, because the BBQ facility is outside and it would bother other neighbours. The kitchen comes with some kitchen utensils but it needs to be further cleaned. For the ENVIRONMENT: If you are an animal lover, this place is the best for you! There are lots of animals and also a cute kitty in the reception :)

This was a lovely little cabin in the woods, surrounded by trees and wildlife! Small but functional and perfect for a nights stay in the woods. We even had an unofficial guard, a Tasmanian devil, outside on the porch!

Our family of 4 loved our stay at Silver Ridge - the cabin was well-equiped & cosy, the kids especially loved the walk to the tin mine & of course the indoor pool was a real highlight! It is a great location for accessing Cradle Mountain & Sheffield & the sunset colours reflected on Mt Roland are magic!

Perfect for our group from the Burnie Highland Pipe Band competing in the Tasmanian Pipe Band Championships at Oatlands. Andrea had the fire burning in the kitchen for our late arrival after a meal at The Kentish Hotel. She later dropped in with extra milk and bread and was a wealth of information on local colonial and aboriginal history, current farming in the area, and the local wildlife, warning us about the Tasmanian Devil under the floorboards! This visitor made for an interesting night! A unique and memorable stay and one that BHPB hope to make a tradition. Thanks Andrea.

We had a lovely few days staying in Lettes Bay in this beautiful little cabin. The space itself was so tastefully decorated, free of clutter and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the friendly neighbourhood ducks. Strahan has a number of local attractions and Claire was extremely responsive with recommendations for our stay. A really lovely little AirBnB to explore the west cost of Tasmania! Would 100% recommend.

Our family had a really great time here and everything was as described! Cabin was very comfortable, and John was an extremely kind host. The backdrop of Mt Roland is beautiful and we enjoyed watching the platypus in the pond on site

This place is incredible I have travelled and stayed many places around Tasmania and this one would be my favourite. The peacefulness in the surroundings and the beautiful outlook and mountains is something special. If you love the outdoors and wanting something beautiful to stay in there, this is your place. We absolutely loved our buggy tour and it felt full of adventure seeing so much wildlife The cabin was so clean and tidy and beautiful to look at. If you are wanting a place that feels like home yet incorporates Tasmania and all its beauty, then this is the place to go. The room was modern and comfortable and everything was thought of including our beautiful breakfast.. the host are so welcoming and so easy to communicate with. We are so grateful for our time there and we cannot wait to return. This place is truly heavenly.
