Stu has an amazing place, short walk to an awesome dock for swimming. Would definitely stay here again.

this place is so thoughtfully and beautifully designed & furnished. the views are incredible, even during a grey winter day. both beds are heavenly. though it's not targeted as an accessible home, we found it very comfortable for my mom who uses a walker. just one step at the entry threshold then easy to get around every space. primary & guest bathrooms both have walk in showers with small entry thresholds. be aware though that there are no handholds in either. i brought my dog and took full advantage of the bald mountain hike, which starts across the street and down the block! there were one or two little things we needed and Kory was very helpful & responsive. would love to come back again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this lakefront home. The view of the lake is beautiful and we felt like we could sit back and relax with our friends. Good memories were made here and I would definitely stay again!

This was genuinely the nicest place I’ve ever stayed! Due to the torrential rain during our stay, we ended up spending more time indoors than expected, so we were so grateful for the cozy atmosphere, thoughtful touches, and all the amenities that made our stay enjoyable. The space felt like a true retreat, with plenty of room to relax, great natural light, and lovely decor. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into making sure guests have everything they need. Despite the bad weather, we had an amazing time. Highly recommend!

Good place to relax and spend time with family, beautiful home scenery and environment

Huge home with all the needed amenities for our stay! Was very pleased to find a little closet of kids puzzles and books as well. My kids loved the gems and rocks that were collected around the home. Wish there was a little space where we could have found it what some of them were and where they were collected!!

We had a wonderful stay at Gerry's place in Victoria. From the moment we arrived, Gerry was an exceptional host—he personally greeted us and gave us a thorough walk-through of the house, explaining all the features, which made us feel right at home. Throughout our stay, he checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, showing great attention to detail and care. The home itself was extremely clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we truly appreciated Gerry's hospitality. Highly recommend!

This home and the views are stunning! The weather was cool and damp during our stay, so the outdoor firepit was perfect to keep us warm while we relaxed in the yard with our dogs. And the hot tub and indoor fireplace made for a cozy/relaxing weekend! The inside was equipped with basically everything we needed, and the layout was great for a little group of friends/family. Allison and Sean were wonderful hosts - so quick and easy to communicate with, and they even brought us more firewood shortly after we arrived. We would highly recommend this place to anyone! Thank you for everything Allison & Sean :)

Thoughtfully furnished and comfortable- would love to stay again!

Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

Quiet place with a beautiful view of Shawnigan Lake. The suite was very comfortable and clean. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wow, Lipton's house, next to the water was perfect. Every morning we woke up to the beautiful view over looking the water of the inlet. After getting up, we enjoyed a refreshing walk in the air along the waterfront. there were many joggers and friendly people out walking their dogs each morning. it was a great start to any day. the place was central to everything that we wanted to visit. Lipton was a great host. He always made sure we were comfortable and gave great recommendations for the surrounding area. I would highly recommend his place and go back to it again if visiting Victoria in the future.

We are SO glad that we were able to stay in Michelle's charming apartment! First of all Michelle is a lovely person who welcomed us and made us feel very much at home. And you can feel her warmth, kindness and creativity show in the home. We appreciated the thoughtful touches Michelle provided and how well equipped it is. This is a welcoming place with lots of light, fun and quirky furnishings, lovely houseplants and a good layout with lots of space. We walked in and immediately felt at home. What a gift! Thank you so much Michelle for sharing your lovely, lovely place with us! You are in all ways a SUPER host!!!

My sister and I had a lovely time staying at Bill and Ashley’s cottages. The cabin was the perfect little size, and equipped with everything we needed to cook lovely meals and enjoy a fun relaxing weekend. Big thanks to Bill for lending us a guitar capo when we realized we had forgotten ours! Say hi to Zoey and Louie for us, can’t wait to visit again :)

I had the most incredible weekend at this beautiful cabin on St. Mary’s Lake! The space was absolutely magical—peaceful, rejuvenating, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed for a perfect getaway. From the stunning lake views to the cozy, well-equipped amenities, every detail made our stay extra special. Spending the weekend here with my three friends was an unforgettable experience. We felt so relaxed and at home, and the surroundings made it easy to unwind and reconnect. The hosts were fantastic—welcoming, responsive, and made sure everything was just right. If you’re looking for a serene escape on Salt Spring Island, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’m so grateful for this stay and already looking forward to returning!

We actually did a same day booking because our original Airbnb had to cancel and we were so grateful Julie was able to make it work on such short notice. The place is super cozy and has beautiful views right on the lake. Would love to come back in the summer for another girls trip! Highly recommend.

lovely place right on the water kayaks, canoe etc all readily available. we were there in October so too cold to swim. it would be amazing in warmer weather. Lots of local things to see market, hikes etc. you do have to drive

Highly recommend this spot. The cabin has a nice dock, the sleeping setup is very comfortable, and the place is well suited for a getaway with friends. Amazing morning views!
