Holiday rentals with lake access in Cowichan Valley

The Airbnb was lovely, it was in such a beautiful location overlooking the lake and had access to a lovely private beach. The space was lovely and bright and would definitely stay again!

Great stay! Visited last week and was a perfect place to unwind and spend time with your family. The place is immaculate and very well kept. Attention to detail is on point, will definitely book again for summers!

A beautiful place with a stunning view. We enjoyed spending our time taking in the view from living room, hot tub, deck or the lower deck. Truly a great spot. It’s easily accessible (3 stairs to door) and all one level. The beds are very comfortable and large (kings and queen). The outdoor activity options are great with hot tub, dart board, fire table and fireplace: We hoped to play darts but didn’t have enough darts. You can quickly walk across the bridge to the beach which was a great bonus. They have lots of games and books which was nice to have, especially with a 2 day storm! The workstation is the dining room table or counter and stool, just to note. No private room. Just a note for anyone working. Internet worked well. If it’s very windy or stormy, it can cut out briefly. Otherwise works well. We enjoyed the place thoroughly and would love to go back.

Had a great stay. House was spotlessly clean with lots of kitchen ware. Location was very convenient. The baby equipment was in great shape and appreciated. Would definitely stay again and recommend to everyone.

Huge home with all the needed amenities for our stay! Was very pleased to find a little closet of kids puzzles and books as well. My kids loved the gems and rocks that were collected around the home. Wish there was a little space where we could have found it what some of them were and where they were collected!!

This is such a welcoming and comfy space! I wish I could have spent more than one night here, but although my stay was very brief, I had a wonderful comfortable and peaceful sleep. There’s nothing I would change!

We had a wonderful stay at Gerry's place in Victoria. From the moment we arrived, Gerry was an exceptional host—he personally greeted us and gave us a thorough walk-through of the house, explaining all the features, which made us feel right at home. Throughout our stay, he checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, showing great attention to detail and care. The home itself was extremely clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we truly appreciated Gerry's hospitality. Highly recommend!

Ingeborg and Ken could not have been better hosts. This was a special trip for us and they went above and beyond to make it feel as such. The location of the suite is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, and perfect for a visit to the island. Everything was great and felt just like home. Will for sure be staying again in the future and would recommend this space to everyone. Tracy and John are fantastic hosts. They have everything you can think of and more within the unit. There were also some other little perks but don't want to ruin the surprise should you choose to stay here which you should. The view / location can't be beat. The lake is a few mins walk away; super clean (rocky so you may want water shoes) and there is a dock to jump off of. Separately, my luggage arrived late and they provided me with extra toiletries which was so thoughtful. They also regularly checked in on the situation which I really appreciated. I hope to be back!

We are SO glad that we were able to stay in Michelle's charming apartment! First of all Michelle is a lovely person who welcomed us and made us feel very much at home. And you can feel her warmth, kindness and creativity show in the home. We appreciated the thoughtful touches Michelle provided and how well equipped it is. This is a welcoming place with lots of light, fun and quirky furnishings, lovely houseplants and a good layout with lots of space. We walked in and immediately felt at home. What a gift! Thank you so much Michelle for sharing your lovely, lovely place with us! You are in all ways a SUPER host!!!

We went to Langford for the Brewery and the Beast festival. This location was perfect, the stadium where the event was held was in walking distance. Very convenient. We were also within 1/2 hour of downtown Victoria. There are a lot of places nearby to eat and go shopping.

Nice little cottage in a small community by the lake. Fire pit and hot tub is the best part of the place. Recommend to anyone looking to do a little camping trip here.

My sister and I had a lovely time staying at Bill and Ashley’s cottages. The cabin was the perfect little size, and equipped with everything we needed to cook lovely meals and enjoy a fun relaxing weekend. Big thanks to Bill for lending us a guitar capo when we realized we had forgotten ours! Say hi to Zoey and Louie for us, can’t wait to visit again :)

This was the perfect spot for a girls getaway weekend, but really it would be the perfect spot for any type of getaway. Huge thanks to Leah and Jayme for their responsiveness and going out of their way to make the whole experience as enjoyable as possible. It's hard to believe, but the place is even more beautiful than what you see in the pictures, and every detail to improve guest experience has been thought of. I'd give 500 stars if I could!

Julie was a great host, would definitely stay again! We actually did a same day booking because our original Airbnb had to cancel and we were so grateful Julie was able to make it work on such short notice. The place is super cozy and has beautiful views right on the lake. Would love to come back in the summer for another girls trip! Highly recommend.

lovely place right on the water kayaks, canoe etc all readily available. we were there in October so too cold to swim. it would be amazing in warmer weather. Lots of local things to see market, hikes etc. you do have to drive

Highly recommend this spot. The cabin has a nice dock, the sleeping setup is very comfortable, and the place is well suited for a getaway with friends. Amazing morning views!
