José's house is beautiful, very clean, perfectly equipped and surrounded by a well-kept outdoor area. There is really nothing missing! An additional plus is the screens on all the windows. The location away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the hinterland was perfect for us. José is an attentive and likeable host, always available and he gave us great recommendations.

Stayed for 5 weeks in Nov/Dec loved the apartment so well equipped & comfortable, towels folded on bed , slippers,chocolates all on arrival plus fruit bowl,beer & wines in fridge.Made good use of the bbq facilities on the terrace. Manta Rota very quiet around this time of year which we knew as visited before when staying in nearby Cabanas but still have a few bars & cafes decent supermarket & a good butchers. Easy access for a boardwalk to Altura or walk opposite direction along the beach to beautiful Cacella Vella. Lucy was always available via messaging & Ricardo was on hand in village if needed. All in all great place to stay would not hesitate to return in the future.

If only all AirBnB standards were as high as this place! The hosts were extremely sweet. When I return to Portugal in the future I want it to be here. Thanks for everything! kind regards C&C

This selection of AirBnb was probably one of the best decisions I have taken in 2024 😊 It was breathtakingly beautiful in every corner of the property. The garden is exquisite and simply stunning. The house itself was quite charming and rightly described as “romantic”. The host and the property manager were always seconds away via messaging and provided useful information throughout the stay. I can recommend this property 100% and I am sure I will be back soon as 1 week was not enough!
