Beachfront holiday rental in Corinthia

As I write this review, I’m on my to work for the first time after our two-week vacation in Greece. It’s dark and already very cold in Oslo, Norway October 17th, 2024. Our vacation was divided into two parts, 10 days was spent in this house and 4 days in Athens. We were stunned by the beauty of Alyki, it was a gift by mother nature, presented carefully and thoughtfully by men, in this case, Christos and his mother Matina. The house was built as we’ve learned, by Matina and her late husband Antonio. The large veranda overlooking the bay/ocean was spectacular! The private beach was 2mins to walk from the house. The house was very well equipped with everything you’ll possibly need. Christos even helped my husband to find a gas canister for his bike rides for him to be able to cook. We were gifted from days 1 to 10. Our daughter Olivia who is just under two loved being here as well. She even got her own swing, we also adored the cat-pany. Christos&Matina, thank you again for everything.

If you like a local village feel with fantastic views this is for you. The apartment is on the first floor with balconies at the front and back. We enjoyed breakfast on the rear balcony accompanied by the friendly cats from downstairs. The location is a stones throw from a little beach that you can walk along to reach the small quay and fantastic restaurants.

This place is a true marvel. Splendid house with splendid views, and the beds are much more comfortable than one might think from the pictures!

This was exactly as we wanted, quiet, private and beautiful. The shop and restaurant were quite a walk, so transport would be ideal if you aren’t keen to walk. Maria was very quick to answer texts, and super friendly and helpful. The pool was superb and obviously being on the beach front was perfect. Thank you both!

Nikolas's house was everything I expected and more.. The location was about a 40 minute walk from the port, Nikolas sent instructions of how best to get taxi for when we arrived, but once we had tested the walk out the next day we decided it would be ok to walk back with our luggage for the return ferry. There was an amazing bakery about 5 minutes walk from the house and a supermarket with just about everything you may need. We were welcomed by Zoe with lemonade and her own olive oil and the fridge was stocked with water - lovely gesture. The house has everything there to enrich your stay and had a lovely personal touch to it. The local area was fairly quiet, beautiful peaceful beaches and quite a few eating places. Delicious breakfast at Odyssey, and evening meals at a couple of the beach front restaurants which were all good. The port area is much busier and has lots of bars, shops etc, but still has a peaceful aura. Beautiful place and I would return in a heartbeat! ❤️

We stayed in a really nice place, lovely location with stunning views. Clean and tidy place with all comfort felt like home! Harry is a very helpful person attentive to every customer request! An access from a staircase leads to a private beach, so you can swim easily and without having to take the car. Grocery store nearby and want free beach with sun loungers given along with an umbrella. We stayed a week, great location for visiting the nearby archaeological sites, Mycenae Olympia. In short, 10 and praise for everyone! Thank you Harry for a great vacation! Highly recommended!

The accommodation was very well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Efi and her husband were wonderful hosts, always checking in to ensure everything was going well, and their care made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a peaceful and calm place, this is the one for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing time near the sea, with breathtaking views and a perfect spot for snorkeling.

Our holiday in this house was beyond our expectations. Finding the place clean and all essentials inside, the stay was truly comfortable and easy. The owner of the house was very responsive to all our questions, and kind. Location of the house is also perfect; just a 2-minute walk to the beach, and very convenient to restaurants in which you can find great Greek cousine. I highly recommend this property for anyone who seeks a calm holiday in a well-cared-for home in such a convenient setting as well as a a beautiful beach and the sea. Hope to visit there again !

Very nice and clean rooms, We had a party , she provided us extra pots and dishes and allowed us to use the yard with out extra charges , arranged for our transportations, When we were leaving the facility and checking out, there was no taxi available at that time , she took us by her Owen car and did not accept any fee for that The rooftop area at a moonlight night was amazing for me and my wife. Really enjoyed our stay

The place is right on the sea and we were able to watch the sea from the bed. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful! My children and I were very satisfied and enjoyed every minute. On the terrace of the hotel you can enjoy the sunset with drinks or even food and we always felt welcome. There are great restaurants, bakeries, and patisseriem in the area. We would happily come back one day.

The house is tastefully decorated with 2 terraces that offer a wonderful view. Since we were in the house in the low season, we had the facility almost to ourselves and it was wonderfully quiet. We almost always had the pool for exclusive use and we were often alone on the beach. In the neighboring village there was a very good bakery with great homemade ice cream varieties and small and large supermarkets.

We had a lovely stay at this simple place. The proximity to the beach and pool allowed us to cool off at any time. Plan a short journey to reach the different sites to visit: Nafplio, Mycenes, Corinth... The accommodation being a little off-center.

The villa is an escape from the world in which you can enjoy a holiday without having to leave. It has a prestigious homely feel and it was a pleasure for Lena to allow us the last minute booking. It is next door to a hotel and in the evening you can hear the guests when you are in the garden, but nothing can be heard when you are inside. The first night this perturbed us but once we utilised the bar we were much more welcoming of the nightlife. Sun is in the garden and on the pool until late afternoon and the pool was so clean. The views were to die for and the beach access was perfect . Be aware the pool is deep, but my 5 and 3 year old spent the whole week in it with their arm bands. Lena recommended local restaurants and even arranged for the amazing Konstantina to cook us a proper home cooked meal for a private dining experience. Please do not miss out. Great view and very nice apartment. Easy communication amd highly flexible check-in and check-out. The area is quite and perfect for some relaxing days and doing day-trips to close landmarks.

Very beautiful place! everything is thought out.. very responsive and helpful hosts. A small but nice surprise - one evening when we returned home, we were greeted by delicious grapes on the terrace - it was very nice! I definitely recommend this hostel!! Everything was just great! :)

A very quiet, large house with big green backyard, opening directly to a secluded beach with warm clear sea water. Lots of Taverns around with tasty food. Great for goups of friends, or families with kids.

We couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodation. Konstantinos was a super host; friendly, helpful and responding to all communications within minutes. Casa Olive was a super place to stay. The beach was literally on the doorstep and great restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. We packed our week with a Cruise to Hydra and Spetses, boat hire, swimming and visits to Nafplion, Mycenae, Argos and Epidaurus - all within easy reach. The house itself was very clean and equipped with everything you might need when on holiday. Thanks to Konstantinos for letting us stay at his wonderful home.

Once again we enjoyed our time at the Akrata Beach Villa and we will come back again. Everything was perfect and we had a day trip to Kalavrita in the mountains where we experienced the perfect Christmas atmosphere. It’s wonderful to travel here in the winter and the air conditioning heating kept the house really warm.

The 6 of us loved our stay at Panos's place. The location and Seaview were stunning. Private access to the beach was very special. The house is so comfortable and well set up with everything we needed. Lovely to have Astros town a few kilometers away for restaurants and supplies. There's a lot to see in this area if you want to do day trips or you can just relax. Panos is a great host. Explained everything to us and left us some supplies to start our holiday. A great start to our trip to the Peloponnese.

Beautiful home. Very private on a very quiet side of the island. Not much to do close by but we rented a car so I was fine. I wish there were more local recommendations, but overall beautiful, clean and the view was gorgeous. The water is accessible right out the door but it is a sharp rock beach and a bit difficult barefoot, but really beautiful.
