We enjoyed our stay here in cooks hill. Fabulous location. Walking distance to everything we needed. The kitchen was great to cook a nice meal. We would book again for sure!

A beautiful cottage with lots of charm and character. The Miner’s Daughter is very well appointed and had everything we needed. 5/5 for cleanliness and location within walking distance to shops, restaurants and Newcastle harbour. Information provided by the host was clear, accurate and timely. We loved our stay at Jo’s place and would love to visit again.

This was a very good place to stay. As well as the advertised and expected things, all the extras made all the difference. Welcome gifts on arrival, washing powder, an umbrella to use if needed, glad wrap, aeroguard, containers to store food etc. All the things you have at home and don't necessarily take on holiday. We brought bikes and Jenny happily accommodated a 'parking' space' undercover and out of sight. Everything was very clean. Supermarket, shops, cafes and restaurants are very close. A few bus routes are nearby. We would happily stay again. Parking is on the street. It was not a big deal and we nearly always parked out front or very close. Looking for a space in business hours was the only time parking was limited.
