What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. Robert and Susana were amazing hosts at the Kaireva Beach House. Also, the house was stunning, even better than the pictures -- on the beach, a nice cool pool to jump in, kayaks/paddle boards/snorkeling equipment to use, a spacious and welcoming home. WOW. Robert and Susana were extremely friendly and made our stay on Raro that much more enjoyable -- they provided us with wonderful recommendations, shared fresh sashimi with us and let us join in on their traditions to bring in the new year! We will definitely be back and will no doubt stay with them again!!

Such a beautiful and spacious house. The outside area is beautiful with a pool, spa and pond and an outside kitchen/bar and BBQ. There’s a really sweet dog that waited at our door every morning for pats. Close to the beach and just a 10 min walk to Charlie’s! Only down fall was the water pressure - showers dripped out water. Thanks for having us!

My family and I arrived to a warm welcome at Cathy & Paul’s place. Cathy greeted us when we arrived, gave clear instructions & also provided yummy tropical fruits, milk, water, juice & biscuits in the fridge. Such a nice reception after landing & not having to rush out to grab food. It has what you need, and only a short step/skip to the beach. The kayaks were used by my kids during our 6 day stay. It’s spacious and the scenery to the lagoon is breathtaking. To eat & drink out the front & hearing the waves every day, was such a blessing. The back porch is also massive and shady, surrounded by passion fruit vines. The neighbours were friendly. Close to everything in Muri. A great start to our first holiday in Raro. Inano Villa is peaceful & lush, we felt like locals staying here. The house is so spacious & the breeze that flows through the house keeps you cool all day long. Tama was a very responsive & helpful host, always quick with his help. The house has great amenities to keep tidy & enough spaces that everyone could hang together or be comfortable solo too. The beds are enormous! I would reccomend to families wanting to feel the local life & be amongst the lush surrounds at the base of the maunga & just a few minutes from the best beaches in Raro.

The location is incredible. Step from the front lawn straight onto Muri Beach. Unlike other blocks along Muri there was a large yard so it felt very private. There was a vacant block on one side and a cafe on the other which played great music, had fantastic coffee, smoothies and food. Our kids spent their days playing cricket on the lawn, climbing the trees in the yard and playing on the beach.

Thank you to the wonderful Malina! There was nothing that she wouldn’t and couldn’t do for you. Malina was extremely accomodating and helpful. There were no issues with communication, Malina was able to answer queries in a timely manner. Te Rama retreat is immaculate, quite central and close to everything that Rarotonga has to offer. I would totally recommend absolutely suitable for all sorts of groups, families. Totally beautiful and truly one of a kind. X

We had an incredible stay! All thanks to the host Nora! The house was stunning , spacious, beautifully accommodating for my small family and very comfortable. The pool was absolutely amazing, perfect for relaxing and cooling off. The location couldn’t be better, it was close to everything we needed, right across the Punanga markets & yet tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect stay!

The perfect holiday sanctuary for any family. The location is really something else; you read other reviews about the coffee next door, burger joint and dairy across the road and they are all so incredibly convenient without need to drive anywhere. The sea in the front yard is of course everything. Great for crab watching, starfish spotting and cooling off and of course those beautiful sunrises. We sat many nights in the very comfortable deck with drinks in hand at sunset while the kids were asleep. The perfect solution with families with younger kids. The house itself was brilliant, air con made it a haven on scorching days and it had many of the home comforts to really make it a home away from home. Couldn’t recommend it more, thank you again Sharon xx
