Perfect venue for a Thanksgiving getaway with our whole family. Rather than having out of town family staying at hotels, we could all stay together in a comfortable home with a beautiful view.

WENT FOR A FAMILY CELEBRATION FOR THANKSGIVING WEEKEND. THE HOUSE WAS INCREDIBLY STUNNING, GREAT ENTERTAINMENT AREAS, PLENTY OF SEATING, BEAUTIFUL KITCHEN. EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THE END OF NOVEMBER, WE STILL WERE ABLE TO USE ALL THE OUTSIDE AMENITIES, THE OUTDOOR BAR, SEATING AREA, FIRE PIT, THE HEAT LAMPS WERE PERFECT & UNEXPECTED. THE OUTDOOR AREA WAS AS AMAZING AS INSIDE. THE HOUSE WAS BETTER THAN WE EXPECTED, WOULD HAVE TO SAY PERFECTION! CANNOT WAIT TO GO STAY AGAIN. THANK YOU TO NATHANIA, YOU'RE COMMUNICATION WITH US WAS QUICK & GREATLY APPRECIATED! LOVED EVERY MINUTE!

Nice winter getaway with a bunch of friends and our toddlers. House was clean and well stocked with staples (including kitchen 'nice-have's like ziplock bags, foil and saran wrap). It was snowy all weekend so we couldn't really enjoy the lake view but i'm sure it's even more beautiful in the spring, summer or fall. Would love to come back in warmer months to enjoy more of the surroundings. Throughout the weekend, John and Elizabeth were incredibly helpful and prompt in replying to our inquiries which made it a very easy and relaxing stay.

We had a great time saying here with some friends for New Years. David is super friendly and responsive and even went out of his way to get a high chair for us. The house itself is well laid out and has amazing views of the reservoir, and a real working fireplace. Nice local hiking as well. Property is managed by the owner and not one of those cheap corporate managed airbnbs which is always a huge plus. Thank you for a great time!

I stayed with my family over the Christmas holiday and we could not have asked for a more perfect place. The house was cosy and comfortable, with updated furnishings. It was even better than the pictures! The location is in a quiet neighborhood and the host was extremely responsive and flexible on checkin and checkout. Would definitely stay here again!

Dorian was a great host and was attentive to our needs. She was very helpful and pleasant. She had a beautiful home and the layout and set up is great to spend time with your loved ones. The way she has it set up makes you feel as if you were in the comfort of your own home.

Susan’s place is a gem! Stayed here with two other families and we all absolutely loved the home, location and backyard space. It’s walkable to town and a block from the river. The house is particularly fun for those who love the historic homes of the New England coast- there’s a really neat book detailing photos of the renovations made to create the beauty that it is today. Another highlight was the occasional visit by Susan’s dog, Herman who was very respectful, friendly and delightful! Susan was a great host, would highly recommend a stay here and we look forward to staying again!

My family was in town for a funeral, and we were able to book Victoria's home and save versus booking multiple hotel rooms. The location is minutes of I-95, so the home gave us a nice, central home base with a kitchen to get to everything and feed the kiddos between events. While we weren't looking for a beach trip - we were able to walk to the local beach and enjoy it with our young kids for a few hours over the weekend. The home was clean, comfortable, and worked perfectly for us. Communicating with Victoria was very easy, and check in/out was a piece of cake as there is a lock box on the house. If I need to bring the family back to the Stamford area, we'll definitely want to stay at Victoria's home again! Thanks!

Laurie is a wonderful and generous host. Though we did not take advantage of it, she let us know that early check-in was possible on our arrival date. When we did arrive, we were greeted with a lovely care package of treats, including excellent treats for our dog. Really nice touches, and much appreciated. The space is clean and spacious, free of clutter, with a nice kitchen. We are especially grateful for pet-friendly hosts, and Laurie's place was truly excellent. Even non-pet people should find the space very suitable. There are no signs that other dogs had stayed there, the space, furniture and linens are all very clean. Great host, great place!

We loved staying at Hope's place. We use Airbnb quite frequently and she was one of the most accommodating and communicative hosts we've ever had - and not in an overly, annoying way. The house was spacious, clean and in a great location. We would absolutely stay here again.

Had a great time in Cornwall, CT. We go away every year with friends for new years, renting a different house every time. This was one of our favorites. Loved the modern yet rustic decor. Bathrooms were beautiful and heated doors throughout. Big table for our expanded crew and puzzles. And very peaceful on the river, close to Mohawk Mt., etc. Great way to ring in 2025! Thanks Elena.

Marta is a great host, very nice and helpful with always quick response. The house is spacious, neat with 4 rooms, supplies are sufficient. Location is quiet and convenient to get everything, eat, shopping, fitness etc. We had a very nice 2 weeks stay here, thank Marta. Very good to recommend.

This is my first stay at an Airbnb. Booking and communication was excellent. We were here for 1 very cold night in February but I look forward to visiting in the warmer weather. I went with another couple. Just wanted to get away from work and meet at a mid-point and relax. It worked well. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet stay near the beach.

The house was so gorgeous and comfortable! Warm kitchen, beautiful spaces to lounge, luxurious bathrooms, and spacious bedrooms. We felt very at home. And Dylan was very responsive. We had an overly exciting exit from the house due to snowy conditions and he raced over to help salt the driveway. Highly recommend a stay at his house — I can’t wait to come back in the summer and use the pool!

We took the house for a family getaway, and it far beyond surpassed our expectations. From the cleanliness of the home, to the beauty and utility of the pool. There was an abundance of all things you can expect to find in a home, e.g. the bathrooms were stocked with an abundance of name brand shampoos and soaps. We enjoyed the beautiful coastline that was in close proximity to house. And we spent hours at the pool on a daily basis, it was very private. Cindy was responsive to our every need and query. She even came by a couple of times to help us out with some issues, she went beyond her call of duty. All this she did graciously, as if it’s not even a bother. She is a true super host.

Arno and Susan were excellent hosts and incredibly responsive. We had a few glitches due to last minute requests that I made with the rental, and host was responsive and kind. The location is remote and private, right in the heart of nature.

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

Stayed at Scott and Durelle's guest house for my 30th birthday with 10 friends. Booked mostly for the pool to enjoy a hot August weekend, but unfortunately there was a huge tropical storm! We still enjoyed the spacious house, jumping into the pool in the rain, cooking on the grill in a moment of dry weather, and overall had a peaceful and fun weekend despite crazy weather! A testament to this great property - which is beautiful and just as in pictures.

We had a wonderful stay at Tracy and Patrick’s home! The house was immaculate and felt even roomier than the pictures showed. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could think of! The open concept was perfect and we loved that the TV area was a bit separate from the living room so the kids could watch TV while the adults could chat around the fireplace. The inviting living room was a perfect space for us all to sit around the coffee table to play games. The two master bedrooms were perfect for traveling with more than 2 adults so everyone could have their own bedroom and bathrooms! The house is in a great location and convenient to downtown stonington, downtown mystic, Foxwoods, and Rhode Island. Tracy got back to us immediately with any questions we had while we were there and we would love to return in warmer weather to spend time in the outdoor space!

The host Joanna was very responsive with communication. The house was big and clean (I am extremely picky with cleanliness). We stayed there for parents weekend at Fairfield University which was about a 25minute drive to the senior beach houses which wasn't terrible. For those Sacred Heart University families it is super close to their campus. The house is in a quiet, safe, family community. Overall, we were very happy!
