Such a beautiful place! So homey and cozy. The bed was comfy and it was romantic. When we stayed it was super windy and cold out and when the power went out the host got back to me right away and alerted the electric co. We can't wait to come back and visit during the spring or summer. Really Perfect spot.

Jessica’s place is a gem. Set on an extremely quiet and secluded street, the home feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere (in the best way), but is extremely close to the beautiful downtown Madison and the state park beach. The house is a great size for 4-6 people, with a lovely new renovation that highlights the great light and beautiful overview of the river below. We stayed for Thanksgiving and had no trouble cooking for and entertaining 8. We had a minor issue with the hot tub, but Jessica was super responsive and we had it up and running 24 hours later. Our standard poodle loved roaming the front yard and paths by the river, and we loved the modern kitchen and renovated bathrooms. Thank you, Jessica! Would definitely stay again.

William's cabin was nothing short of magical! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to make home- cooked meals. The decor was stunning, we lost ourselves checking out the various paintings, books and other antiques. The fireplace kept us cozy with plenty of seasoned firewood and easy to use instructions. The hot tub was an added treat, so soothing! The location was picturesque with the babbling brook out back, perfectly quiet and peaceful! William seems to have thought of everything with board games, yard games, and the plentiful selection of records. We hope to visit again in the warmer months to appreciate all of his gardens and landscaping, including the brookside hammock. A truly unique gem!

Michelle Was very easy to correspond with. Home was so cozy and clean. Located right across from the lake. Only drawback that it took a little while to heat the cabin with the gas fire place but once it got going it was perfect. Fully stocked kitchen Glad we booked the cabin for our trip to CT

Beautiful home, comfortable furniture and beds! The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes, pots/pans and utensils. Books and games for all ages. I hope to stay again in the future to be able to explore and enjoy the yard and gardens :)

I didnt want to leave this little cabin in the woods. It felt rustic but had all the modern amenities you would expect in a home. From the rocking chairs on the porch to the comfy beds, there is nothing I could complain about, even if I tried. Marilyn gave excellent suggestions of places to eat and local current events. We left with fall apples, bellies full of clam chowder, and gigantic smiles!!! We have already started planning our return!

Our family of four had a wonderful winter weekend at Erma’s house. The house was comfortable, even during a winter storm. Erma made sure to have the driveway plowed, so we could still enjoy a day of skiing. And the sunset views were beautiful! We would definitely stay here again.

Denise’s Colebrook cabin is a peaceful, rustic, perfect get away from the hustle bustle of larger city life. Nestled in the New England countryside, the walks and drives are beautiful and renewing! The cabin has an awesome wood stove and there was lots of firewood for cozy mornings and evenings. Denise is a gracious and energetic host. Will stay here again sometime

I cannot recommend this Airbnb cabin enough! From start to finish, our experience was absolutely delightful. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The cabin itself was the perfect blend of cozy and comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The amenities were outstanding – everything we needed was provided, and everything worked perfectly. Whether it was the well-equipped kitchen, the snug living area, or the super comfortable bed, every aspect of the cabin exceeded our expectations. This stay was peaceful, relaxing, and everything we hoped for. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with a host who goes above and beyond, this is the place for you. Can’t wait to come back!

What a gorgeous place! As other guests have noted, the photos just don’t do it justice. October is the perfect time to sit on the dock with some coffee and take in the fall foliage.. The house is super cute and well appointed, I think it might be the best stocked kitchen of any Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Lots of lovely plates and glasses and festive little napkins and towels. This was a mom/daughter girls weekend, and everyone was impressed with the toiletries in the bathroom. The house was super clean and the beds were comfy, we can’t wait to go back!

Michael and Beth were superb hosts. From the moment we arrived to when we left, they made us feel as if we were family. They are absolutely wonderful people! Their property is beautiful and perfect for nature seekers. There’s a lot to do around the surrounding areas and they were super helpful with giving some awesome recommendations. The cabin is awesome and very clean. It was a great family trip with our 2 little ones (2 and 1 yrs old) highly recommend this spot!

Perfect weekend getaway - was exactly what we were looking for!!! My husband and I stayed with our two dogs - area is quiet and sooo many walking trails in the area (dog park too)!!! Place is cute and has everything you need for your stay.

Cozy and peaceful stay! It was an especially great place to stay while traveling with our dog. Michelle was very helpful and always responsive. Beautiful location with lots to do nearby.

We had such an awesome month at Stephanie and Choy’s home. They are extremely kind and generous. We loved the home and felt very comfortable there! It was a great area and close to things to do. I’m so thankful to them both for sharing their home with us! Thank you!

You won't find a more tranquil location in Connecticut. Outside, you hear nothing but nature. The log cabin style home is beautiful and well maintained. Towels and linens were excellent, and both bathrooms were fully equipped with shampoo, soap, body wash etc. Other than the lack of cutlery, the kitchen was well equipped. Phillip is a very responsive host who is prompt in answering any questions. We had an overnight snowstorm and Phillip made sure the long driveway was plowed and the walkways shoveled before we had to leave. This is a great place to relax, but there isn't a whole lot to do in the area other than hiking. Especially in the wintertime when we went. I would recommend to Phillip to provide a binder of area activities, etc. But if you need to get away for a long weekend just to relax and enjoy nature, this is the perfect place to go.

We had a lovely 5-day stay at the cabin on the lake! It was just what we needed. When the weather was nice, we hung out on the dock - there was a hammock to relax in, chairs in the shed, boats to explore with (I went out in a kayak a few times). Lake was peaceful and pretty. The cabin itself was quirky and nice. Yes, hot inside during the days, but with the fully surrounding screened in porch, there was no need to stay inside! Even when it rained, we could be "outside" without being in the elements. The kitchen was well stocked, coffee at the ready, there were plenty of towels and sheets and bed (though we only needed one!), shampoo/ conditioner in the shower, wood ready for the fireplace, board games and more. Honestly, it had everything you'd want for a little getaway. The spot felt secluded while only 5 minutes away from a supermarket. [Okay, you could hear Rte 8 traffic a bit, but it served as calming white noise!] I'd definitely return again...
