Monthly Rentals in Condojanni

Beautiful house in the hills of Condojanni. Tranquil, felt like an artist retreat. The chickens, fresh eggs and stray cats added to the experience. Views were amazing and the house itself felt very special. The beach that’s five minutes by drive away was beautiful and quiet although if you’re going end of Sept note that no businesses are open on the beach. We were 3 couples and felt that the place was spacious. The living room with the two single beds was fine although you have to walk through this room to get to one of the other bedrooms. We cooked many wonderful meals here, and also worked remotely from the place. The wifi was great. Condojianni is very small, which we expected but we didn’t realize that end of Sept is off season. The restaurant Gromu was closed, and we also struggled with the siesta hrs of most grocery stores in town. There were not a lot of restaurant options. Also the hill is very steep - we parked in the square and walked to the house.

The property is in a perfect location for hiking in the nearby National Park while being at a walking distance to Ardore Marina beach. The property itself has everything you need and is spacious even for several people. Especially positive about this accommodation are the hosts Rosetta and her husband, who help out immediately if something is still missing but in particular are also super warm and are happy to stay with.

This place is exactly as displayed. Really a gorgeous getaway any time of year. Feels like the base from which Hemmingway’s finest work may come. Mountains peaking over the natural borders, a thick layer of Mediterranean in the distance, olive groves and fruit orchards in every direction. A remarkable setting. Antonio isn’t just a great host - he’s more importantly a good person! We arrived late and were on completely the wrong road but somehow he was there at exactly the right time (without any message from me!). On more than one occasion he came out to rescue us (one day there was a storm) when I didn’t quite know how to get back (none of it his fault) which was really beyond any hosting obligations. He also provided us with fresh eggs, oranges and a bottle of wine on Christmas Day. I hope that we didn’t cause you too much effort. Thank-you for all of your kindness and patience Antonio! We won’t forget it.

If you want to dive into the heart of nature and be in an oasis of peace, no hesitation to have. Beautiful loft, upstairs from the owner's house, very well equipped, comfortable bedding, terrace overlooking the olive trees, orange trees, lemon trees and up to the sea. Cheda is a very friendly man, attentive, responsive and his advice is valuable. The icing on the cake...Zeus an affectionate and adorable dog 💝
