Monthly Rentals in Cold Kirby

We have just returned home after spending 2 nights at the annex over the Twixmas period. What a fabulous property this is. It was so warm and cosy. We truly appreciated the addition of the Xmas decorations, along with the wonderful welcome hamper provided. We met Sheila on our final day and so pleased to meet in person. Lovely lady and truly a super host. We would highly recommend this property for all your holiday needs. A true home from home in a great location, close to all the amenities in Bedale. We had a lovely stay at Barn Owl Snug, Sally was a great host and looked after us really well during a brief power cut due to high winds, providing lighting and extra fire wood. The cottage was perfectly equipped and very comfortable, with little extras like milk in the fridge and Yorkshire Parkin. We had a beautiful walk through Boltby woods up onto the Cleveland Way and along Sutton Bank, there are loads of lovely walks & beautiful views on the doorstep.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful Airbnb cottage, and I must say, it felt like a warm hug from the countryside itself. The Setting: Picture this: you drive down winding lanes, past rolling hills dotted with sheep and gliders flying above , until you find this charming stone cottage, almost hidden by the beauty around it. It's like stepping into a scene from a Jane Austen novel, but with all the modern comforts you could want. The Cottage: The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the comforting warmth from the underfloor heating the horses smiling at the gate to greet us and a nice surprise from our host Lucy a cake bread butter and milk! The beds were so comfy and it was silent just what we wanted. Helmsley is a short trip and we did plenty of walking around the area. Lucy was always on hand to help if we had any questions. A great relaxing break would throughly reccomend the cottage to anyone wanting to visit North Yorkshire Thank you everything ❤️
