Monthly Rentals in Claxton

My husband, 2 children and I had a great time at Becky's place. Becky was very helpful beforehand and gave us clear instructions on how to check in etc. The location of the cottage was perfect in terms of amenities and it only took around 15 minutes to get into the centre of York. Inside the cottage was lovely... very clean and everything was in good condition. All descriptions matched everything stated on the website. We loved the hot tub too! It was always on, and a perfect temperature. Such a nice relaxing way to end a day! Only thing to mention was the road noise from the upstairs bedroom was quite loud at times. It didn't disturb our sleep at all, but it may if you're a light sleeper! At times, the lorries going past in the early morning would make the bed shake, but again, didn't affect our stay at all and would happily stay again in the future.

Our stay in the Charlotte Cottage couldn't have been any better. A great place with lots to do. We would highly recommend.

We had 4 fabulous nights at the lodge and it was warm, cosy and comfortable. The lodge had everything you need and a great location to get in to the centre of York or to the local beaches. Highly recommend Sarah as a host who was always available and nothing was too much trouble. Our daughter particularly liked the large box of Lego and the books that were on offer. Great location, great accommodation and a great holiday.

A beautiful cottage - comfortable, warm, well equipped and very family friendly. Ideal for our two boys and our dog who felt very comfortable and at home. Flo was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed visiting York and the railway museum while we were there and we would love to explore more of the countryside/outdoor activities next time!
