Amazing house. Even nicer than the photos. Gorgeous view of Arenal from the top deck. Lovely pool. It was a super relaxing visit. The AC units are only in the bedrooms but this was not a problem at all and my husband is very much an AC person. We had fans going and the AC from the bedrooms came into the living room, so it was very comfortable and cool. Great internet. Quiet neighborhood. We loved it so much, close to town, couldn’t have been better. Thanks so much Sindy!!!

Very nice house with fantastic garden. You have a chance to see parrots and another birds.All equipment works fine.Housekeeper Rosalija lives in the next house, she is always there to help. Unfortunatelly, the house is just 50 m from main road , and, when trucks are going down the hill, the sound is so strong, that you can not speak to one another when you are outside. Take something to protect you ears in night, the trucks start move before 6AM, and finish after 11PM. Another problem is that the house is far from La Fortuna, it is 20 min to drive. It is self check-in, but the owner had not gave us instructions prior , so we had to write him down again to open the gates.They have strange code lock on the front door, which had closed themselves at 10 PM, when we was outside, so we was forced to broke the door. It appears,that owners knows about this problem, but do nothing to fix it.

We had the blue cottage and it was spacious with a private kitchenette. The bed was nice and everything was clean. I'm glad there was a pool to relax. We missed a table and 2 chairs outside and I indicated that. There was a quick response that they are going to put that in order next week. The communication is fine and fast. Outside there is a large kitchen with everything you need so you can easily cook if you would like. I would definitely stay here again!

Stay here! It's an inside outside house - the bedroom and bathroom are in air conditioned comfort, everything else is outside... The pool is perfect, the grounds are beautiful. We were away for 30 days across Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico City and Casa Pura Vida was the stand out accommodation. We'll book it again when we return to Costa Rica.

It’s not often that the place I’m staying ends up being the highlight of a vacation, but this property is one of if not the best AirBnBs we have ever been to. Beautiful surroundings and property, clean, friendly and responsive hosts, and an incredible value for what you get. I would easily plan another trip to Costa Rica just for the opportunity to stay at this place again. Would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Costa Rica. You will not be disappointed!

My father and I were there for 10 days and it was perfect. Sandra’s breakfasts were delicious and different every day. The pool was lovely after a long hot day. Sandra is an amazing host. 10/10 d’ont hesitate and just book it.

The house is beautiful, our group of 8 (4 adults/4 kids) had lots of space and the pool area is amazing. The house is located about a 5-7 min drive from the main area of La Fortuna, which is about a $4-5 USD trip via Uber. The house is very clean and very well maintained, attention to detail is clearly visible. Carlos and the team @ Home Vacations were great to work with, Carlos is a 1-stop shop for everything. He even helped me set up transportation for all 8 of us for our trips from San Jose, La Fortuna, Monte Verde & Guanacaste. I highly recommend this home, and big thank you to Carlos!

A little house made for resting. Lots of nature around, we could even see a couple of limpets. The house has spacious areas even though it only has one room. Very tidy and clean.

The location of this place really can’t be beat! We could walk around La Fortuna really easily, it was safe, and we could even walk to the Bogarin trail. Everything matched the description pretty well and there were no surprises.

Everything very nice, the place was clean and tidy. Both Oscar and the cleaning staff were attentive to the inquiries made, they were respectful and with very good communication. I recommend the place and hope to return with my family, everything was excellent.

This is a very nice, secure, spacious, family home in a local Costa Rican town. All the locals are extremely friendly, and the surrounding nature was breathtaking. We woke up every morning to see a beautiful white horse in the backyard, hummingbirds galore, and there was even a sloth family that lived in the trees above the playground down the street. Andrea is a fabulous host, who really cares about your stay, and checks in daily. We did a pineapple tour, visited the butterfly gardens, relaxed in thermal springs, and of course saw the volcano Arenal. There is so much to do nearby. We would rebook this place in a heartbeat! Highly recommend.

Great day with a very attentive host!

We loved visiting Casa Mabri, it is a spectacular place with everything you need to stay, located in a very safe place and close to downtown. Bryan is an excellent host who was always attentive to our questions. I would definitely come back and I recommend it.

This was a really unique home in a quiet residential area near the Children’s Eternal Rainforest. While it’s slightly outside the bustle of La Fortuna there are plenty of places to explore nearby. We settled in for a week and enjoyed peaceful mornings in the garden and afternoons sitting by the pool. Exciting wildlife encounters, kind neighbours, unique architecture and stunning landscape views just a short walk down the street made this a very memorable stay. From the moment we booked this listing, Austin and Kacey were incredibly responsive and helpful. They were quick to answer any questions once we arrived.

The place is excellent in general, very good location and has all the amenities mentioned in the description. We had a great experience from check-in to check-out. The place is comfortable and spacious, with good ventilation and clarity, the kitchen is very well equipped. The jacuzzi is also well equipped. There is a list of activities that can be done nearby, I recommend the farm tour that was very nice. We are very grateful for the treatment received and hope to return soon!

An excellent start to our CR adventure. BdT is beautiful and this home was comfortable. Lots of flora and fauna right out the back door. Beautiful town, comfortable home, excellent host.

We spent 3 nights here while visiting the LaFortuna area. A private and quiet location yet close to the town and attractions. Very spacious for all 7 of us. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

Absolutely loved our stay at Arnoldo’s place! He had excellent communication from start to finish, making everything super easy and stress-free. The house itself was clean, safe, and beautifully designed—definitely added to the whole vacation experience. Our family had a blast here! It had plenty of space and fun touches that made it feel special. The location was perfect too—really close to all the activities around La Fortuna and Arenal. We would strongly recommend this place for families looking for a memorable and comfortable stay in the area.
